when the arm is in the middle posistion it will turn off after like 15 seconds of vaping only does this when its in the very middle. Its done this sense i opened it up anyone else experiencing this?

yes, mine do this as well. I think it has to do with the magnetic power switch. Sometimes a fast close can stall that switch (so an open and slower close will catch that) and I think the first detent position may also cause the power switch some confusion. If it happens, try opening the arm to the next detent, or full, and then re-lower it back down to that 90 angle position and try again.

I thought that the screen would illuminate when the dial adjustment was being used not just when using the activation button. That IMO would be great for a future revision.

I sent an email to evolv suggesting that very thing. I am hoping that is an up and coming change.

Mine sort of stops at 8.5 -- feels like it is one full rotation. With a nudge it goes up.

Mine as well. I'll attribute to a slight wheel/ notch variation.....interesting point.

NEWS FLASH TO ALL DARWINIANS.........

We all know that Brandon (EVOLV) has the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE. My Darwin's batteries were degrading and I wanted them to check a few other things also. My battery warranty would have expired in April anyway, so I sent a check to pay for the battery replacement. Turn around on my Darwin was one day after they received it. But Brandon refused my payment for the battery replacement because the batteries were still in warranty.

This just highlights the business practices of EVOLV and Brandon's commitment to excellence.

With that said, I wish to help out a fellow Darwinian who may be in need due to financial hardship. I know that there are those who may need a little help in purchasing some e-liquid, carto's, atty's, and etc. So, for Brandon, I wish to Pay-It-Forward, in Brandon's name, to some one in need, a little help (to equal the amount of the check he refused).

If you are TRULY in need of a little assistance, just PM me with the details, and I will order e-juice, carto's,..etc. and have the order shipped to you. I'm one of the new Darwinians, and I'm liking it a lot. I love the simplicity of the device, love the portability. Also love the battery: running dual coils at 12.7 all day no problems, able to charge it anywhere although I haven't needed to. Unfortunately, all I have to work with are dual coils and old atties, mostly running the dual coils.

It's interesting the way that atties and dual coils respond to the settings. Dual coils need it there for me, but an atty loves it lower.

Looking forward to throwing more at it! Making orders already
