Ain't that the truth, Ski-ster! Will PM you as to what your crazy friend did a couple of days ago. (Pulled the trigger on something I've been lusting after for a long time now.)

Can't believe I've known you (and our core group) almost a year!

Time flies when you're vaping a Darwin.

Don't get me wrong I am really loving the Kick and the GGST with the ODY on it and it is so much better but I am thanking my lucky stars I didn't sell my Darwin. It is just a very different product and it is my going out mod of choice. Just need to find a long lasting (juice) carto to keep me from having to fill it all time. It is the master of the quick draw vaping system:toast:

I'd never sell my Darwin. Been wanting one since before I started vaping. Lucked out and got one from a guy at my first vape meet last month. From what I understand , I have an older version. Blinking screen, arm only locks in one position, etc. I still love this thing though. Has every feature I've ever wanted in a pv and I love the industrial look/feel.

I love my Darwin, i had a little hiccup recently with it, but Brandon got it all working and the thing purrs like a kitten. Even got a white screen/light background which is cool, even though i did like the blue one, i like the white better.

I am switching back and forth between my iAtty and the Odysseus..on it and the thing is just brilliant. I have done the Kick in my Precise Plus and it is nice, but i still love the quick dial of the Darwin, and i am so used to the flat in my hand instead of the round.

Anyways, i love my Darwin and i cant imagine using anything else before it, i change it up from time to time if i am feeling liek i want a shiny shiny (GGTB), or i miss my tobacco pipes... (epipe mods pipe)....but usually that is a rarity and a passing fancy..when i want to VAPE...i reach for the Darwin...and nothing else

What i want is a slim rebuildable atty that will allow it to close with the Darwin. I hope Imeo can do it. Im hoping for a FOG with small internals like the odysseus. Fog fits nicely on the Darwin and closes fine.

Im still working on an S adapter but my machinist is swamped with work.

I agree!...hope the new batch will take care of that, also to have it better sealed as I am messy with liquid....should not be too difficult IMHO
I'm trying to visualize the "white screen/light background....I wonder if that's what the next batch will have. I wasn't real crazy about the blue screen only because I couldn't read it without illumination in most instances.

I guess my "blinky" white screen Darwin with the arm that only locks in one position (all the way open) is older-ish?? What do the new arms do?! What else changed?

3 position locking arm and the last revision had a blue screen....same funtionality I've read...more experienced users can elaborate on this I'm sure. If you decide to trade-up to the latest and greatest Darwin and you need a buyer for yours shoot me a pm....I know you take real good care of your mods/equipment....;)

So my Darwin started firing on it's own a few minutes ago and there is a weird slightly burnt smell to it. :( Don't have a warranty because I got it second hand. Emailed Brandon, hope I can pay to get this thing repaired. Don't know what I'll do now that I've tasted perfection. :(

You have done the right thing and the Evolv Customer service is second to none. Especially when you are up front and explained the issue as you have. I am certian they will quickly address and turn the unit around for you. Good luck and god speed to your Darwin repair

Alright. That didn't work. :( Good news is, I will be sending it off tomorrow to be repaired. Brandon has been very helpful through all of this, and I've never gotten email responses so quickly. Evolv really is an awesome company. Guess the Provari and Lavatubes will be getting a lot more use for a week or two lol.
