I had to send my Darwin in to Evolv last week because the mini usb port connection dislodged from the body. I'm hoping it will get back to me before this weekend. Its been kind of a pain using my bolt with a 1.5Ω i06 all week. I even have a kick I could use with the Bolt, but I do not have the extension and I don't know how I feel about cutting the spring to make it fit. The 1.5Ω i06 atty and 3.7v Bolt are a good combo, but being able to fine tune the 2.5Ω and 3.5Ω i06 with the Darwin cannot be beat. I often tweak the settings on the Darwin depending on how I am feeling, and depending on where the atty is at in terms of its life-span. Being without it for a week has convinced me that having a second Darwin as a back-up PV is the best possible back-up option for a Darwin user.

I agree!...hope the new batch will take care of that, also to have it better sealed as I am messy with liquid....should not be too difficult IMHO

You have THE T-Tip. Be quiet, emonty. ;)

Ahh, Burnside, life without a D'win... not good.

Hang in there man Evolv is really quick. I know exactly how you feel that is why I packed my arsenal with 3 of those bad boys! Just so you know I have posted concerning the Bolt and with the extender sleeve in it the Kick will work with the bolt and a 18500 batt. With 2 sleeves you can cram a 18650 in there! There has however been some concerns about the gauge of wire used to connect from the button to the 510 connector. It is very thin so pulling 10W using 2.5 ohm or lower stuff may push that strand over its amp carrying capacity.

I am having problems with my Darwin charging. I plug it in and sometimes it charges a little, other times it doesn't charge at all. I have used three different charging cords. It is disappointing when i get up in the morning to find it did not charge at all during the night.

is there a trick to making sure it is charging? I am only able to see if it is charging by hitting the button and looking at the battery indicator.

Thanks

only way i can tell if its charging is using the charger that came with it, it had a red light on it, and when you plug the darwin in and it starts chaging, you can watch the red light get a little dimmer. hte connector on mine is a little loose so sometimes i would have to push down slightly when plugging it in to make sure it was charging

I Emailed Brandon at Evolv today to ask if he got my Darwin alright. He responded right away and said they did get it and he will get on it right away. An hour later, I check my mail box, and my Darwin is there back from Evolv! Talk about getting right on it! LOL

Now that I have my Evolv back, it amazes me how much better the i06 works on it compared to my 3.7v Bolt! The Darwin is an incredible devise, and based on my experience, it cannot be beat when it comes to performance. Evolv's customer service is the best I have had to deal with yet!

Well Burnside that is good news and this is one of those instances where it is nice to be able to say "I told you so" :)! Now let's hope nitro gets his unit out of the sick ward just as fast. Happy vapes
