The Darwin From Evolv!!!

Darwin Folks,

Let me fill you in... I used to think the Darwin was the most awful mod ever... Even though, to make the long story short, for some odd reason (many circumstances such as having being kicked and loving VW! and others more on the aesthetics side, cause as of right now...) I ended up having an entire different intake; I get to have a totally new impression...

Mostly after seeing the white one; ending up falling in love with it. I do think it is one of the coolest mods ever. The look is amazing; kind of sci-fi meets military top notch secret gear meets Lamborghini aggresive lines design criteria.

So, there you go...

It's funny but do need one!

Then, please... I was wondering if there was any chance on filling me in on some details...

1. When will they be in stock? How tricky is getting one?

2. Would you mind posting (pretty pleasy!?) a pic for size comparison, next to a regular eGo or Precise? Would really appreciate it if you could do so!

3. Is white available (with blue led), as the one vapingmonkey has? (The one I DO need) Please say "yes"...

4. Last but not least... I hear the batt will last more than two days... What the heck? Is that right? Because this batt being 1,800 mAh I really can't imagine how... I mean, if you vaped, say a 2,5 ohms regular 510 and were a heavy, kind of 24/7 vaper... How long would it really last?

1 TBD the drought has been a long one though.

2 sorry I am also looking for one so no size comparison

3 No they only come in the black color.

4 It depends on use. IE how much how often how long your drags are what your settings are at ect. I can say as a heavy vaper (aorund 10 ml a day) I was able to get 12-16 hours out of the Darwin I use to have.

4. I vape at about 8 watts (5.1 volts @ 3.1 ohms) and 3 ml per day. I usually just plug it in every night to charge. I forgot to plug mine in at night a couple of days ago. I typically stay awake for 18 hours per day. I vaped the next day till it ran down @ about 6 pm.

I kinda felt the same way when it first came out but it kinda grew on me within the last 6 months or so. I absolutely love the form now, beleive it or not, the Darwin feels awesome in my pocket, nice and flat and skinny.
1. I think it has been about 6 months or more since they have been in stock. The only way to get one through the past months has been through the classys and the one that was donated for the helptwygg benefit(I got that one!!!) It has been said several times that they are coming soon but I think unforeseen circumstances have delayed there production.
2. I can do that when I get home from work later.
3. The Darwin only comes in Black other than a handful of Darwins that came in other colors but there are only a few. The only way to get a white Darwin would be to have it powdercoated, which is probably what vapingmonkey did. The downside of that is that the warranty becomes voided because it has to be opened up to do it. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
4. I think you would have to be a pretty light vapor to have it last two days. (I forgot to mention that it depends on a lot of things invcluding the ohm of your atty ect... I have only depleted the batt completely once and it ran one full day and a few hours on the next day. Also, at that point the batt may have not been to its full capacity because it was new. That being said, I have never not been able to make it through a full day, so you charge it at night while you sleep and then vape all day and repeat and it really is wonderful not swapping batts.

Not sure if the black is a deal breaker but let me tell you, it shouldnt be because the Darwin is absolutely amazing, I am checking this thread daily even now that I have a Darwin because I need a backup in case something happens to my first. Off to work. Good luck!

I wont lie..These are small...I had to take my glasses off to work with it...They are really simple though...You just screw the top off and the screws are right there...The coils can be challenging to wind , but I sell the replacement coils pre-wound also....They come with one made already, but you are going to have to replace it one day...There are a ton of videos around that show how to wind and replace them....Thanks,

You can get the pre-wound Ato-mizer wicks and wires from Drew or buy the individual DIY supplies elsewhere. There's a lot of places for rebuildable supplies.

Oh darn, lol maybe I should have asked before I made my order. Does the Phoenix come with extra wire/wick? Hopefully, the Darwin drought ends soon and I can get my hands on a couple... I'll just order extra wicks/wires when the darwins come in.
