Whats your backup device if you have one. (thats not another darwin!)
{/snop}

Aside from the backup Darwin, and the backup-backup Darwin, I like a Boge Revolution. Tilt-shoot feeder box mod, holds 10 ml. It's a fixed 3.7-ish device, with LR cartos it's pretty good. It is my "lawn-mowing, and other hazardous outdoor tasks" vape. They're about USD $35, have enough battery to last most of the day well. It's very light and lanyards easily (good for mowing). I can lanyard my Darwin safely, but it's kind of heavy.

I have a dna board, I know that for max rated amperage the Revolution batts are not enough, but in the area where I like Darwin, less is good enough. When I get time (hah), I will rig one up. Wrapped with LOTS of fiber-strand packing tape, with the bottom open (has to be open, to replace the bottle anyway). If it pops, I can at least contain it downward.

Rather than rig up a pot (though the Revolution's spare carto-holder spot is tempting for a place to put a screwdriver and adjust), I think I would probably just do a fixed resistor.

I really need to get a backup device. Only thing I have laying around is a few go-go's that are old. I recently bought my girlfriend a lavatube. Which is ok... But Im looking for something a better quality and not a tube mod. They look to strange in public.

I was just reading through the Opus thread and this seems like a great backup unit. 2 things are keeping me away.

The Price, and its out of stock....

Also been contemplating a bottom feeder..

Also - are there any mods that have come out with the new DNA board?

This may not help but my backup is 2 other Darwins and a Opus plus various kicked tube Mods.

I do run a kicked Reo and if you are looking for a solid bottom feeder they are nice. I also like the suggestions Kat and nano threw out. jk listed the Jbox and that unit looks top notch but also as he stated not on the cheap side.

Yea R-I-G-H-T!!! Like KD would ever give that response to any man (even if he had both BLUE TARPS and MAZOLA)!!!
Thanks for the laugh!!!! A cheek-aching smile is a GREAT way to start the weekend!!!

'Brat! KD might give that response to a man who had an extra Opus ... ;)

Rest those cheeks, sweetie. Or turn them. Or dance.

(Do you dance? Would someone need to stand on a chair to dance with you?)

Bunch of blabbers.

So last night I was on my way home and I had the FM on in the car (rare). Every time I fired my Darwin it cause interference on the radio, lots of static.

Should I be wearing a tin-foil hat when I use my Darwin?

I have that happen on my way to work in the morning. Same station and route, but it's not every morning, maybe half of them, and rarely on the way home. I haven't figured out why it isn't all the time.

I am pretty sure it was interfering with my laptop mouse, not even sure if that is possible but I swear it was happening.

Yes, it is possible for a wireless mouse, or anything wireless for that matter.
