I ordered 20 echo -e single coil carts from Bill last winter and just realized that he mistakenly sent me 12 echo carts. I don't have batteries or a charger that will fit these threads. I believe the carts i received are the auto carts. I don't want the auto battery. Is there an adapter that will allow me to use my existing echo-E batteries with these carts?

I don't have an echo-e battery but I am sure they are the same as an ego battery so you could use an ego/808 adapter.

I've been looking for a good ego auto battery for a year now and everyone I tried just didn't work as good as my Echo autos. I got new one a week ago from DV and it is working very good. It isn't sealed, has a very good response and has about a 10 sec cutoff. I'm using it with a Kanker T3 and it is a very good combination.

Is it a 510 to 808 or a 510 to 808D or a 510 to 808D-1?

Thanks in advance tumbleweed.

I think they are all basically the same except I would get the shortest one you can find. They aren't going to look very good though because the carto will set about 1/4 inch above the battery plus the battery threads will not be covered unless you have a cone thread cover and then it looks better. I have one set up that way with an ego battery and it looks and works ok.

I've been using the single coil echo-e for about 16 months and am very happy with it.

1 - Easy to fill
2 - No leaking ever
3 - Easy to clean and burn coil
4 - Each Cart lasts 6 weeks on average with cleaning

Didn't notice much difference between the single and double coil versions of the echo-e in terms of performance. The double coil however is difficult to clean.

I havent read through this thread so forgive me for my popping in outta the blue. But...here comes thhe stupid :p

Simple question: Im new to the echo, I have 650mah auto 808 threads and am attempting to charge the thing. Umm, wierd. Ive never had any 650mah battery take so long to charge even on first charge cycle, its going on 10 hours and no green light in sight? Is this normal? Got it from nwvvapors and came with usb charger 5v 500mah/ 5v 300mah (whatever that means). All I can compare it too are egos and kgos which were very very fast charging batteries when charged the same way in 5v chargers. Are autos different?

I wanted to vape it before thankgiving but looks like the charge will be done after new years lol..

With the 300 mah charger a 650 should only take about 3 hours. The old 150 mah chargers took a real long time especially for the 1300's. I don't have a 300 mah charger so I'm not sure what the led on the charger does but if the led on the end of the battery goes out when it is fully charged.

I have the steath version without the LED at the end so Im assuming that the charger light would turn from red to green when charged but its taking forever.
It does have a super tiny led near the end, on the side of the battery and thats still red. I have to wonder if its charging at all

I would use it and see how long it lasts. It might not be making contact with the battery post. If it isn't charging you can gently pry up the post a tiny bit with a knife or something and see if it will charge. I don't have any stealth echos but I have to do that occasionaly with mine if the post gets pushed in by a carto with a long post.

shouldn't take that long. These do take longer to charge than an ego charger. Slower is better for battery life and safety. My 650 takes about 4 hours for the led on the battery to go out and the 1300 can take all night. What does the pinhole led light at the end of the battery do? It goes out when it's fully charged. It's harder to see on the stealth versions.

Although it's not normal, folks have had perfectly good working chargers that never changed to green when done. Unscrew it and see if it's green without the battery screwed in and screw it back in again. The old center post adjustment trick sometimes works too by prying up on the center post of the battery or the charger ever so slightly. And if all that still produces the same results, and you are still nervous, maybe contact them about a swap or to see what they think.

Both the pinhole led near the end of the battery and the led on the charger just stay red but when I unsckrew the battery, the charger goes back to green and the pinhole led flashes red then goes out, so it seems like the post is making contact but doesnt seem to be charging. Ill prolly just try a new charger.

What does make me nervous is the report of this new style echo battery, even a v2 battery blowing up while charging. So now apparently its not only mods, but stock bateries as common as 808d's??? I cant remember what post the v2 was on but the other one is in this thread I believe.http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...tery-blows-up-charger-catches-fire-print.html Freaky! And how do I know it wont blow up in my face? Uggg..

I guess the answere I would give you Zelphie, is only use an Echo charger. If something is wrong, just send it back. As for the Echo battery blowing up on you, I guess I would say that Echo's simply havent changed (other than stealth tips) since their intro to our wonderouse vaping world. If something dangerouse was a flaw, we would have known it by know. Any devise that stores energy has the capasity to expell its energy rather abruptly and dangerously. All batteries have this paticular danger. We do know of one echo expelling itself while on a charger. It's energy went out the front like designed, as to cause as little damage to the vaper if they had been useing it. If you investigate the flashlight sceen, you will find that plumbers, electricions, carpenters, and the like, all have had battery issues. Most of the knowledge we have for our recharg bats in mods came from them. It is a risk, but a verry small one. My policy and I believe I speak for all the truely great Echo masters here, is we play it safe and conservative. Any doubt on a new bat try rasing the connector, if that doesn't work, send it back. On a used Echo, just recycle it and say thank god I'm not on stinkies.:)

If something is wrong, don't use it. It's advice that's easily given and hard to obey sometimes. But I've had many conversations with Bill at nwvapors via email. I'm sure he'd be happy to help. Tell him the situation and see where it goes.

(BTW. I assume you bought the kit. Both batteries do the same thing? If so, it's time to swap out that charger.)
