Thats correct Charlz. I did contact Bill and Ill just try another charger, he seems cool..

Just have to stick my nose in and say feel the battery and if it is much above body temp, warm to hot something is wrong. If it remains at room termperature about your only worry is that it isn't charging or is charging very slowly.

Yes you right, thank you for reminding me. It remained quite cool to the touch.
I try to keep that in mind ever since I had an ego batt charging about a year ago and the battery was getting hot. Then when I put on my atty it automatically fired and would not stop, no putton pushing required lol. Something was very wrong with that battery and charger. Incidently that same charger would only charge that psycho battery  Weird, wrong, and never used again.

:offtopic:

Can anybody tell me what these are? I know they are called t-rex and they are ego knock-offs but what does "LR 1.25" on the battery mean?

If you prefer auto battery echo and wish to burn the coil for cleaning...the 510 to 808 adapter works with the echo cart.

I have 510 thread batteries and was mistakenly sent 808 thread carts. Tumbleweed suggested I try a 510 to 808 adaptor. The adapter works perfectly on my 510 battery and I will be able to dry burn the coil for cleaning.

Anyone looking for a good 650 ego auto Eric at DV has them on sale today for about 12.00. The sale is good thru monday. eGo 650mAh Battery - Automatic - Stainless

I may have to pick up another. It's not bad (although with a t3 attached it's as airy as sucking through those fat McDonald's straws.) I also can't get a reading off the multi-meter. Could these possibly be regulated? They vape fairly consistent and last a long time for a 510 650. Still not echo quality but I do approve!

Could be regulated but I'm not sure haven't talked to anyone about them. If the T3's are too airy for you with it you can easily plug a couple of the holes in the T3 threads with a toothpick as some do. The newer T3's have three air holes instead of two like the first one did.:)

yeah. The smooth base of the t2s were easy to cover with a piece of clear tape. These holes are hard to see. Without the kuwako, I just curl my finger around it and pinch the base a little like when someone used to give me a light cig. But in the kuwako it's not right to grip it like that. It's not as airy on a manual. I'm just going to have to get a couple more and designate some specifically for the auto. I'm not looking forward to breaking in a new shell. The new tip taste took a week to get out of my other pair, even with a good soaking. I sure wish they'd make them with changeable tips so you can swap them like the t2 but understand why they don't.

I saw where someone used solder to close up one of the holes. I just use mine with my Kuwako so I don't mind the airy draw on it because I puff on it more like smoking a regular pipe.

I think the t2s were better out of the box, but after a week on the t3, it's finally hitting it's stride. I took the post above the coil off during the dry burn and there were two thin strands of wick laid over the coil. I replaced it with a single slightly longer strand of fresh fluffed up wick and it's much better. I also forgot to put back in the silicone rings and so far it hasn't needed them. I really should go check out some other threads to see what folks are doing with these. They seem to be surpassing the ce4 as far as clearos go.

No reason I can't hope they will be available for every model battery soon.

Looks like "The Vapor Girl" has 350 Igo 808 auto bats. I believe these are the same basic design as the Eco. I remember someone here having a bit of trouble returning a bat from Vapor Girl. What do you think guys? Worth a try? Will the Echo sigle coils fit ok?I was thinking they might be even easier to vape cigar style, i.e. constantly hanging out of my maw, than the 650 Echos. Maybe after the 1st of the year. Chime in everyone.

My batteries still rock. Still rock the echomizers when I'm doing anything physical that could hurt a clearo. The t3s are great but every time I drop one it cracks right at the base. I don't know why. Maybe they make them so tight so they don't leak but it puts stress on the plastic at the base(?) A filler carto sometimes is the only safe thing and the echomizers are still the best. There's nothing new to report though. Until they manage to make a variable auto draw battery.
