For anyone interested, cuecig.com has Echo starter kits with 2- 1100mah Echo bats and ect. for $29.95 with free shipping. I would be all over this but I don't like my bats above 650 mah. Ships from Atlanta GA. Great deal.

P.S. I forgot that it ships with 10ml free juice. You choose flavor and strength. About 20 choices of flavors.

Just got my Echo all of an hour ago and for the most part I love it. It performs much better than any of the manuals I've tried so far.

But there is one issue. Sorry if this has been answered before, but I haven't had the time to read through this whole thread.

How do you go about getting a 901 atomizer to work on the Echo? My 901-T setup will only fire if I plug the air hole on it, and it gives me no throat hit.

Will a drip shield solve this? I'm planning on getting one anyway, but I'd rather have the tank on my Echo and not my X2.

This is a great question. I am going to pm Charlz about this. I don't know the answere and Charlz is a Echo master. Charlz and some of the others don't check in as often as we all used to. We will get the answere Jonnie Price as soon as possible.
I was thinking about Charlz, but I didn't want to just PM someone out of the blue.

I'm thinking I need an 808 battery extension, so I ordered one from Madvapes. I'll have it in about a week, so we'll see what happens.

Worst case, I'll just buy a couple of 901 batteries to keep using my tanks. I'm loving my Echo so much I'm only going to use them for my morning vape/testing flavors anyway. :D

Thanks!

Johnnie, be sure not to let any juice get to the battery post. Most Echos are not sealed and if your battery has a hole in the center post going straight down through it into the bat, any juice that finds its way into this hole will leak into the Echo and kill it. Also just a guess, as I just sent a message to Charlz, is to bring the center post up a bit with some tweezers so it contacts you 901 atty easier. Don't bring it up to much, Just a smidge. Too much will pull the wires appart. I have not done this much in regards to Echomizers (all I use on my Echos) but have read many times how this has helped connection problems in the past. There may be a problem with how the air holes line up on your 901 and the 808 of the Echo. You may need a 808 to 901 addapter. Sounds odd as they are both bassicly the same thing. Charlz will probably be able to point you in the right dirrection to get one.

I already have an 808 - 901 adapter. From what I've read, it's to allow for 808 atomizers to work on 901 batteries due to air flow issues. While it helps on my manual X2, it doesn't do anything on my Echo.

The battery extender I ordered has the same notch on the bottom post as a cartomizer, while 901 atomizers don't. So, here's hoping it works.

I'll try to adjust the pin on my atomizer. I'm not willing to mess with the battery post. Atty's are cheap, and I still have my X2 and Revolver to use them on if need be.

Speaking of which, has anyone here tried out the Echo Revolver at NHaler?

Northwest Vapors is supposed to have some come in real soon. Hangsen, the company that makes them is processing their order. Maybe a week, or two. I also have been looking for the 650 stealth. I prefer 650's. I even looked into ordering from China, but don't realy know enough about it. Even with that, the 650 stealth is still hard to find. Best price I found was $10.88 per bat but with blue LED from Ecigonlineshop. Gotta spend $160.00 to get free shipping. If your looking at Northwest vapors may be better to get a kit for $5.00 more than two bats. Get 2 Echomizers and another charger. I will check into other places for stealth bats.

I hopefully will be geting a 350 mah stealth from Vapor girl this next month. She doesn't have 650's. Some people had trouble with the stealth at first. Wonder if this put people off of them. I'm with you Johnnie Price, Echos RULE. Especialy the 650's.

Echo friends, been a long time :)

Have you all seen the VV auto that Nhaler is selling? I want to hope that this is the holy grail ::fingers crossed::

Of course the issue then becomes what to put on it for an atty
Well, it does come with a CE4+.:)

And aren't the dual coil catos technically LR?

But I wasn't too impressed with the iGo version. I think VV just isn't for me.

Hey Johnnie, which dual coils? The CE it comes with?

For my part anything that looks like a stardust is a POS until proven otherwise lol :)

Despite running my ReoVv, Provari and home built VV units all the time I still reach for my Echo. Biggest problem still remains topping it with something worthy!

I just started with the Echo, so yes, I am using them. ;) I got the kit from Mountain Vapor which is supposed to come with dual coil cartos, but I have no way of knowing for sure. I just ordered a couple of standard cartos and one dual coil from them, and the dual coil are only available in stainless but all of my cartos are black.

I haven't liked any clearo yet, although I did like the M3 on my D-2 unsealed battery, so I'm thinking the stiff draw and less air is what's making me dislike them on my manuals. I've got a CE4+ on the way just to find out.

And until I can get my 901 atty's to fire on the Echo, I'll probably be stuck with the echomizers. But I like them, so it's all good.:)

so the issue with the 901s is, if you look at the connector pin on the atomizer its smooth

the pin on the echo, and all the gen 2 regulated 808s is likewise now smooth

charlz figured out a while back that for this reason, the 901 atty won't fire on the Echo. Likewise, a 510 adapter with a smooth pin won't make a connection.

The pin on the atty needs to have a notch in it, like a screw that you'd take a flat head screwdriver to. In other words it should look like the pin on your echomizers (I don't have one in front of me so correct me if I'm wrong)

I do have an adapter that I had notched for me that I was able to get things firing on the echo with, but airflow was never ideal. I never tried notching or replacing the pin on a 901 atty (the latter would mean resoldering/rebuilding because you'll break the negative connection), but I imagine it *should work*

I've got this in the mail, which is notched on the battery connection but smooth on the atomizer connection. I'm hoping that solves my airflow issues.

I have heard of some people who take a dremel to their 901 attys and notch it themselves, but I don't own a dremel and I'm too lazy for that kind of work even if I did.

At this point, the 901 tanks are being relegated to my morning vape and for flavor testing. I'm enjoying the convenience of the echomizers too much to worry about it much.

I also have an eGo-808 connector on order, so at worse case I could just grab some 510 tank atomizers. I may do that anyway and grab a cone, just because I like things to look sleek. One reason I'll probably never get a mod.

Welcom back Cyrus Vap. Great to see some Echo posts. Thought it may just be me left. Then Johnnie Price came aboard, and wow, we almost have a crew again.

Great find Cyrus on the vv. Sad its a big ol 1300mah, and won't happily hang off my lip, but probably worth a shot just to have it. If its as good as our Echos were set.

Think I'm gonna pull the trigger on the 350mah echos at Vaporgirl.

I'm smiling, the Echo Thread is back.
