Errol have you seen the new Vision Stone3? they have some pretty good pics here of them and how to replace the carto. Vision V3 Stone clearomizer, China Vision V3 Stone clearomizer Manufacturers, Vision Newest Suppliers - Vision High Technology

I followed your link last night and was quite impressed. Looked like they have some 510 Echo carts with the threads on the end rather than recessed or perhaps I was looking at the wrong picture.

I really liked my V1 but cooked the coil during a dry burn. GotVapes has been promising replacement parts for V! and V2 for two or three dollars since they were announced which now appears to have been BS. The V3 with replacement parts looks good but one is stuck buying another tank. Don't need or want any more tanks, got too many now and I'm not that fond of tank cartos other than the stone.

Maybe take another look at the V3 when it's readily available for sale at various dealers with replacement parts.

On that same site I see this which I have been looking for forever if they are what I think they are. Mountain Vapor has been out of them forever. Would someone with a more practiced eye than mine take a look and tell me if they are the ones that hold only .5ml? Thanks.

Yes I think those are the same as he had or at least very similar.

I'm in the same boat. I have the v2 but it is still working good. I just don't use it very often. Same here on the carto tanks. I have others but the Stone is the only one I use. Refilling and replacing the cartos on the other tanks was to messy for a klutz like me. I always ended up spilling juice everywhere. lol

I think I'm sticking with the single bottom coil cartos. They look like they are made better to me.

For me right now Single coils are the safer bet because they can be easily fixed if needed. It is rather frustrating not knowing if even 4 out of cartos will be "perfect" but it has been a real learning experience I'm this close () to having a functional rebuilt echomizer with a new coil and wick. A busy schedule for the next week or two will keep me from perfecting it for a while.

If anyone buys new echo cartos please report on the quality so we can try to make sense of how widespread these issues seem to be. I want to be able to suggest the echo AND the echomizer to my friends confidently, and right now i just cant do that.

I'm staring at one of the ones i got from Mountain Vapor. They have a brushed chrome/aluminum end, not this brass-looking color on your link. Otherwise look identical.

My first ones didn't look that bad. Only the new one. Apparently there is a whole batch of these funky looking DCCs. Think I'm going to stick to my favored singles too. The only thing I've had to fix on them is straightening the wick and sometimes pulling it up a little. Some of that could have even been done without taking it apart. Although being able to look at it and diagnose it through taking it apart was a big help.
Of course I may get the occasional DCC. Again, the first one I had looked and worked great.

V1, V2, V3? lol

can you guys school me on the lingo and what if any of these you're using on your auto Echos?

Sorry we kind of drifted off the Echo subject which we tend to do. The V1-V2 and V3 are different versions of the Vision Stone Tank and no we don't use it with the Echo at least I don't. The only thing I use with my Echo is the Echo Carto or occasionally the Vision iTurbo.

Hey well I went to charge the echo battery and this charger I got from cropduster the light doesnt turn red when plugged into the wall is there something I am doing wrong? I left it on the charger anyway for like 3 hours and the battery is still dead so I am confused if it something I did wrong or if the charger is in fact bad. Well hope someone that has had good luck with their charger can fill me in.

I have three chargers from crop duster and one of them is always red like yours. However mine works. The battery is charged when the led on the end of the battery goes out. Charge times are long for the echo. 650 5-6 hours 1300 8-10 hours depending on how dead the battery was when you put it on the charge. My times are estimated but they are about what mine take. I do not leave my batteries on the charger that stays red any longer than i have to, just because I feel like it might not cut off charging at all, but i am not sure about that. Its good to take them off the charge as soon as you can anyway.

Hope this helps...keep charging that battery and it will get there.

EDIT disregard the above i misread your post! Are you speaking about the light on the usb part of the charger or the wall adapter part? Or the light on the echo itself? Are there any lights visible? You could just not be pushing the usb part into the adapter far enough, but that should be obvious. Try it in a usb port on a computer, perhaps the wall adapter is bad.

Well the light on the battery does not even come on when I stick it on the charger not sure whats going on but thanks for giving me a suggestion to follow and some estimated times to charge these things.

Are you sure your center post on the battery or the charger is making a connection? Sometimes the post can get pushed in.
Pry the battery post up a tiny bit with a pin or a small flat head screwedriver.

edit: actually, if you plug in the charger and no light comes on, it sounds like you need a new charger. Tony will swap it if it's bad, I'm sure. If you plug the usb charger into a usb port or the wall adapter, it does not light up?

And one final trouble shooting step which I know sounds dumb but it could happen so I will say it. The echo battery screws into the charger so make sure you have it screwed in all the way. Don't mean to insult anyone, but I would hate to have that be the problem and it not get addressed.

If the charger lights up when plugged in (either red or green) then it could be the center post on the battery or still a bad connection in the charger. If there is no light on the charger at all, then it is most definitly the charger or wall adapter.

Yep I sent cropduster901 an email on the issue about 30 minutes ago and tony was quick to respond and he suggested the battery post not making connection and suggested i take an xacto knife and pry it up slightly. I did that and the light has now come on and the light on the charger has turned red so I think we are good go to now I just need to wait for until the light goes out on the end of the echo and I should be good to go. Thanks again for all the help and I commend tony on his stellar and quick customer service its a shame not all vendors are like that. Have a great weekend all and remember if anyone knows where I can get a kuwako attachment please let me know lol.
