You know, I do understand that. With my kuwako on, people tell me how good it smells and I tell them it's a pipe type blend. One night I had put the kuwako part in my pocket and someone looked at my echo and told me it looked and smelled like a cigar. Funny thing is, if I let a smoker vape it, no matter what is in it, they always say they can taste vanilla.

Hey guys, I haven't been on the forum much lately. Has anyone found a good quality eGo/510 auto battery yet?

I just got one in the mail today from Vaporgirl. I just vaped it a few minutes and then put it on the charger. It appears to be a very good battery and much better than the other ego auto I got. This one is called a military battery I think. I will post some more on the voltages later but it was at 3.8 v when I got it so I'm pretty sure it is unregulated and comes off the charger at 4.2 but I will know for sure in an hour or so. I think I've finally found a good ego type auto at least from first impressions anyway.

Has anyone tried using this with the Jazz carto tank. I would think that would be a sweet match. I got a rubber sleeve for my carto tank pipe tip which makes holding it in your mouth really comfortable. Im loving it but dont have a echo/kuwako yet, using it on an epipemod right now. Thinking about buying another carto tank to match with a new echo/kuwako but was wondering if they actually work well together on an ego style battery.

I'm not familar with the Jazz carto tank. Do you have a link or picture? If it will attach to any 14mm battery it will work.

Yeah, Im fairly certain it will work but Im no expert. Not even sure about the 14mm thing you mention but it seems to fit on everything else I have so...

You can find it at the epipemod site or maybe the Jazz site, not sure, but I would assume. I was hoping someone could post a pic of it connected to the kuwako :) If you really want I could take a cell phone snap of it in the wild but the epipemod or jazz site pics are pretty good.

It might be a little bit before I upload though since Im at work and somewhat busy.

14mm is the diameter of any high mah ego type battery. The kuwako allows for any 14mm battery to fit inside but auto is best because it's a little awkward pushing the button and feels weird having the kuwako on while gripping a high mah battery near the connection to push the button. 650 isn't bad though.
The echo auto is only in 808 but if the auto 510 that Tx just got passes the test, we may have a quality 510 unit to use in the kuwako. I bring this up because the jazz carto is a 510 connection, I believe.

Thanks Tex, standing by for a report. Some threads are talking about the Janty Neo Airflow Auto but the price is significantly higher than VaporGirl. Not exactly sure if I want a battery that says "Vapor Girl" on it but that part would be hidden by the Kuwako anyway. :)

lol I know what you mean about the logo but like you said it is inside the bowl. I vaped it all afternoon and last night. It performed real good and seemed to be very similar to the echo battery as far as response and 5 sec cutoff. The only problem I had is the blue led light or the charger light never went out when I charged it for about 8 hrs. It read 4 v when I took it off so I presume it was fully charged. It is a little hard for me to get voltage readings with these autos, sometimes I can get it to work and sometimes it doesn't read when I blow on the end. I did check it several times and the lowest reading I got was 3.7 v. It worked much better than the other ego auto I tried. I would recommend this battery but I've only used it one day so I don't know about the long term. It is the same length as the echo 1300 and has the tiny pinhole in the battery post so it isn't completely sealed. The Janty Neo did look like a good one too but I think they are 30.00 if I remember right.

Oops hold on right after I posted this it started blinking like it is a dead battery and I've only been vaping it about a half an hour after taking it off the charger. I will get back after I see what's going on! lol I'm going to try a different charger and see if that might have been a problem but I've been using that one to charge my riva and other ego batteries.

Well I put it on the charger over night and the charge light still did not go out but when I checked it with a voltmeter it read 4.2 so I thought maybe it was going to work. I vaped about half an hour again and blue light started flashing indicating dead battery!:(
I might invest in one of the Janty neo classic batteries or I might just give up on finding a good ego type auto. It baffles me why they can make good 808 autos but not ego 510's.
I tried two different chargers and two different wall power supplies and they both work on my Riva and ego batteries.

That's a bummer Tex. Thanks for letting us know. And yes it is very baffling. Regarding the Janty Neo Auto, this thread is worth a read...

I still may have to try one someday but it's on the bottom of the "maybe someday" list. Tx seems to have the worst luck with auto batteries. I'm still using my volt 650, though rarely. It's too awkward and bulky compared to the echo. Only makes sense to use it at home as a passthrough so I might as well have gotten a hardwired passthrough.

I'm so happy the echo worked for him. Had he not started the thread, I probably never would have found it.

That wouldn't keep me from getting one but the price might. I don't really need an ego auto being as I have plenty of echo 808's I just wanted one to use occasionally. I just presumed that would be easier then it has been. lol

Both Janty (USA) and electronic-cigz (Canada) are out of stock. Theoretically this means people like this battery. I sure would like to try one but I'll give it a little more time before I spend $30. If not for the Kuwako I wouldn't even be having this conversation. But how sweet it would be to have just one good eGo auto for the Kuwako.
