TTP = Tradition Tobacco Products (character limits)

  • I still use TTP, but I use an Ecig when it is inconveniant to smoke TTP or they are prohibited

  • I still use TTP, but I have reduced my consumption of traditional tobacco products by using an ecig.

  • I still use TTP but am trying to quit by using the ecig.

  • I have stopped using TTP by using the ecig instead. It was a process & and took some time.

  • I switched immediatley from TTP to the ecig and never thought it could be so easy.

Works great for me. I stopped analogs day one. I'm intending to quit altogether, so I'm currently only vaping in places where I could smoke before. I figure this will tend to limit me to the amount of nicotine I had before and I can start cutting down from there.
I hope it works for you, and me too. I want to give this up eventually, but I don't think I ever want to be without one... just in case.

We'll my very first was a POS e-cigar and i almost gave up on the whole thing but these forums convinced me to try a 510 and boy i tell you what by my 3rd vape. I crushed my box of cigarettes not as a statement but because I knew I would never need them again.
True story even today

Received my ecig on April 1 at 6PM. I had zero intention of quitting. Haven't had a traditional cigarette since. (Smoked 2 packs/day for 40 years)

I can relate to Drunkwaco's story. That first evening, whenever I found a few cigs laying around here and there (and there were stashes throughout the house), I'd break them in half and throw them in the garbage.

It would have been a lot easier if my bf took to them as completely as I did...however, he is about 50/50 ecigs and analogs, and every time he lights up an analog, it kills me! Just 6 feet away, it smells so good...and now I can smell it even if I am on a different floor of the house!
But, that old cig smell is gross. I am opening my dresser drawers and pulling out clothes that STINK! I never noticed that my clothes smelled that bad before! And it is in the wood and carpet and everything. yuk.

I selected "...still using analogs, using the PV to cut way back." Wellllllll, I ran out of reg cigs on Thurs while working in my yard (I've mostly been using them while outside). I couldn't get to the store on Thursday. I was out and about yesterday but was with a friend and didn't want to ask her to stop at a place where I could get them. So, all in all, I was easily doing without them. Last evening was the real test of that...my neighbor and I were sitting on my patio (we'd were having a huge storm and it cooled things down considerably). She's a smoker and I was just peachy-keen with my e-cig!!

I probably will buy a pack tho'...not so much because I really want one, but my brain is sooooooooo trained to feel a "little panicky" about being out. Since it was never my intention to quit smoking, I'm fine with having to play the game with my mind. If I need a regular cig every once in a while, so be it.
