I chose to vape, only because I would want to die a quitter. My last words would probally be defiant although it would be nice to say something profound that might change the lives of those holding the gun..but then I realised they wouldn't be changed. I would probally tell them to pull the trigger already, I got important places to go!

I was never really all that fond of smoking to begin with.. if I didn't have a hot beverage to wash down the smoke with, I usually had an annoying caughy scratchy feeling in the back of my throat which I really didn't like. So I usually drank a lot of coffee.... or hot chocolate.... or tea..... juice would suffice sometimes as well.

Vaping on the otherhand seems to be fine on it's own, or with just about any beverage I can think of that I enjoy...

So if I'm on the verge of being shot, and I actually had to choose between vaping and smoking, I'd choose vaping... because I'd rather not be coughing, light headed, and generally feel like ... right before i take a bullet.

I voted smoke. All in all I prefer vaping over smoking in every aspect. However, if that was the situation I'd ask for a pouch of Gauloises and roll a nice fat cone cigarette. The only time I enjoyed smoking was when I smoked Gauloises rolling tobacco. If not, they'd have to aim through the huge clouds of vapor I'd be making.

I would have to go for the analog. I tried some after I started Vaping and they taste like crap, 2 drags and done. But, I would have to smoke the whole thing just to burn the heck out of my throat, make my eyes tear, cough like crazy and smell like a ashtray again.
Best of all, as the last act of defiance I would get to flick the lite .... at the shooters (its not the same flicking a E-cig at them.)

I voted to vape, but chances are, I wouldn't have my equipment with me for that last great vape. If the firing squad really believed in fullfilling a last request, it would take several days before they could shoot me. Somebody would have to gather all the parts and tools I need and give me time to put them together, and I would need to brew, filter, and mix my last special vape juice.

Of course I'm just dreaming, but if it came to it and I couldn't be granted to vape, then I would rather them to just go ahead and shoot me. I've vowed to never touch another cigarette for as long as I live! No if's, and's, or but's about it. Absolutely no exceptions!

A few weeks ago, I went dancing, and I got part way there before I realized I didn't have my PV. I was meeting someone, and didn't have time to go back. So I thought "I'll try to get by without it. If I have to, I still have an emergency cig pack, I'll smoke a few".

And I did. I had 4 cigs that night. Before that, I hadn't had a cig in, oh, maybe 4 months.

They tasted horrible. And I wondered if it was because it was an old stale pack that I'd been keeping in the car, so at the end of the night, I bummed a fresh cig from a friend - and it tasted horrible.

This is a "I never thought it could happen to me" story. I had smoked heavily for 30+ years, and I'd always enjoyed it. I was shocked to find out that I don't like them anymore. I'd heard other vapers talk about that, I just didn't believe it would work that way with me, and I'd been nervous about smoking to find out because I was afraid it would just leave me wanting to smoke another one.

My choice is easy. I'm never smoking again. Imminent death wouldn't change that.

If I get stuck without a PV again, I may try a gas-station e-cig to get by.
