RE*********SE <- YIKES...this shipping time SUX!!!!

As requested..raspberry pi case (I did some "enhancements" to liven it up instead of just bland crappy cellphone shots)
I rather like this little case, MUCH smaller than the big ole huge case I had before, it actually has very sturdy retention...well once you put it together like a jigsaw puzzle (not really that hard but cumbersome)

I also applied a small processor heatsink I got from FT as well (you can see it in the pics), the case has a cutout for the heat to escape as well, hopefully with this little heatsink I might be able to push the processor a tiny bit harder

The magnification eyeglasses are just as the reviews state...sucky, they only magnify and "focus" at about 1/2" from the lens...you really going to solder with your nose on the pcb?

Not sure how valid any argument is with the back and forth Con games of both Sellers and crooked buyers on Ebay.
I prefer considerations of various information not only including rating, but feed back information, Actual Sales volume, Time as a member on Ebay, actual Ebay involved charge backs and more.

r-lsales (140354)99.7%
titanium434 (5313)99.9%

Ultimately we are both just offering more localized availability. It is totally up to the person in need to seek out an acceptable solution.

Yeah, I see where you are coming from .. but titanium434 is Orbtronics.com, who happen to have a well established, solid reputation outside of Ebay. Orbtronic branded batteries are often featured, and spoken about within the vaping comminity. So in reality, r-sales is not even in the same lane as Orbtronic in terms of reputation.

While both have similar ratings on Ebay, r-sales has 18 negative feedbacks within the last month, and all buyers have similar stories to tell, bad batteries and no satisfactory resolve. Titanium434/Orbtronics also has a one negative feedback within the last month, also for a DOA battery however, the vendor offered a refund .. so this was my only point. What happens if a DOA occurs? Based on feedback, titanium434 will refund or replace, r-sales will give you attitude and avoidance .. again based on feedback.

The mark of good vendor is not only how often they get it right, but also, if not more so, how the vendor responds when there is a problem. I had no less than 4 battery listings for r-sales saved to my watch list, but once I realized that if there was a problem that he may be uncooperative with resolving an issue, I deleted his listings and stopped following him ... not worth the risk IMO.

It is not my intention to be argumentative, just honest ...

All this for attempting to help someone

Generally people simply post other alternatives rather than Hammering home points.

the post that you just responded to certainly helped me...

in fact, i wish i'd read it long before i wasted a lot of money on ebay

big difference between helping folks with useful, actionable info and aimlessly hammering home a pet point.

I purchased a brass Origin clone from FT - buttery threads, magnetic switch, and a low voltage drop too. for $19 it is a great little mod!

View attachment 300829

My next purchase will be an origin or another nemesis. I really love the nemesis, the threads are great, the switch always fires and never had a problem with different atomizers. That said, i have an Aqua on the way, if i like it probably the origin would be better :p but i want to hear some comparison with the nemmesis.

It's too bad that YOU see it that way ... I thought the point of this forum was to provide, and share useful information, which is what I did with the information I originally posted. Who doesn't want the best product, as well as the best vendor to get it from?

All I did was "post other alternatives" in my original post, and you could have easily bypassed my original post, without comment ... but you chose to quote, and make further comment, and compared stats, so it was you who put down the "hammer" first, which I honestly didn't have a problem with, .... So why did you have a problem with it??

I think I know the answer to that .... and I am sure you do too. ;-)

That's what I wanted to do until I got a PS3 in the living room. Still may cause it's so cheap to make one. Nice setup. I'm digging the clear case.

Edit. Meant to quote post about pi media center.

Ahhh, that depends on who you talk too ... there was a member who got burned by this vendor back in November, can't remember their username, I just remember the thread he started. He was sold a pair of batteries, and one was DOA, and the seller was not cooperating/communicating, at least that is what the member said.

Also, there is some negative feedback on Ebay, although much more positive feedback. But all the negatives say that when there is a problem, this is not a vendor who will fix it. I have deleted this seller from my following list because of the negatives. There is a good chance that you will get working batteries, but if you don't .... eh, I wouldn't risk it.

Now maybe you think you only posted alternatives, but I read much more than that in your post.
I have no issue with Orbtronic, or Panasonic/Samsung/Sony/ Efest/AW or MNKE and a few others which by the way are all acceptable for our use.
My link to the batteries was directly from my last purchase in my purchases record on my account page - maybe you should not read so much into persons intentions.:)

Got my 2 Sony 30 amp batts on eBay for 17.50.

Anyone know where I can get stiffer springs and a telescoping center pin (brass) for my caravela?

Have you checked in the Mod forums? Someone with a Caravela may know.

Can't find anything searching - sorry

I consider Fasttech a close personal friend of mine. :)

FastTech is like that old maiden Aunt that comes to visit, the smoking, drinking, and cussing family oddity that embarrasses all of the adults with her biting sarcasm, great memory, and dead on viewpoint. She delights the youngsters who flock to see her antics in awe. She visits once a year, making you wait impatiently for her arrival in anticipation, but you always LOOK FORWARD TO HER VISIT!

You get excited by FastTech, wait impatiently, and are soooooooo grateful that they have the goods!

Imagine a desktop CPU the size of your phone... that you can carry in your hand, plug into a TV or flatscreen, pop a keyboard/mouse on and take everywhere with you... do a Google search, it's unrealized potential is really magnificent =]

I had an order of 18650PF batteries making it all the way through Malaysia Post with no hiccups. Actually, it made it here faster than a shipment through Sweden Post made the same day. I split the order into batteries and other stuff "just in case". Order was made January 9th. Batteries got here the 20th. Still waiting for the other stuff.
