I'm considering picking up some of theses clearos.

$12.75 CE4 1.6mL Electronic Cigarettes Round Mouth Atomizer (10-Pack) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Any feedback, does anyone know the resistance?

Already burned through a set.
Not the greatest quality. A couple leaked and several just cracked around the lower ring. This eventually starts leaking.(I don't vape tank cracker liquids) Spring load pin is unnecessary and makes screwing onto some batteries difficult.

But, it you are looking for something cheap for emergencies, yard work, tossing out without care, they may do.
To be fair, Kanger T5's are not much better.

I recommend serviceable clearomizers, those are one shot deals, can't rebuild them

These are rebuildable (serviceable) and instead of using them once and chunking them, you just open em up and swap out the coil packs, you can rebuild the coil packs as well
2.2-2.4 ohm packs (multi wick)

Thank you all for the ideas and the links! I've been over to the official site and love the concept for kids and me (being half little old lady and half little kid). I learned Basic and Pascal in the early 80s and found it really interesting. I'm thinking too of an orphanage library some of my medical friends (and I, at long distance) are supporting in Togo, and the enormous possibilities spreading inexpensive but effective technology knowledge could have. Seriously worth thinking about and developing.

haha! Basic and DOS for me IN THE EARLY 80s as well! I switched majors in the middle of Fortran, or maybe I took a P/F, I forget now :p I believe, Maggie, my love, that you and I are of an age :p

As far as this little Raspberry Pi - it is a magnificent concept and should get many nerds/geeks... and I forgot the other word I was told to use instead of these outdated ones LOL My kids try to keep me 'in the know' so my terminology is up to par, but... sheesh, I forget some of the words :p And yes, PCU the size of a cell phone was an over the top description :p I was thinking LARGE! Ha!

I'm considering picking up some of theses clearos.

Uhhhhhh, I have bought these for years to use with my eGos at work, the last batch was pretty bad from FastTech. They were just a quick clearo to grab and fill when I wasn't home. I will tell you that they are a hit and miss, some are missing a notch at the bottom, so I've had to file them down to get some air through them, some juices, whether classified as tank-crackers or not, wear them out pretty quick, and many come with hairline cracks already, so if it disintegrates in your hand, you found a cracked one. The vape flavor quality may last a day with heavy vaping before it's gunked up, and then you trash them because they are not rebuildable.

If you want some suggestions, I would say to get :

#1 https://www.fasttech.com/p/1536500 RG400 Bottom Coil Glass Clearomizer (4.0mL) 1.8+2.2ohm GLASS & SS / RECOILABLE
#2 https://www.fasttech.com/p/1528500 RG200 Bottom Coil Clearomizer (2.0mL) 1.8+2.2ohm GLASS & SS / RECOILABLE

Replacement coils if you do not recoil your own:
$4.80 Authentic Protank Clearomizer Coil Heads (5-Pack) - 1.5ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$4.88 Authentic Protank Clearomizer Coil Heads (5-Pack) 5-pack - 2.5

I have these and many more since I use eGos at work & also on walks for stealth vaping. They are not bad, the coils can be replaced, but the glass ones above are my favorites because only dropping them on concrete has destroyed mine =]
https://www.fasttech.com/p/1579400 Calabash Style Bottom Coil Clearomizer (2.8mL) 2.4ohm <- LOVE IT!!!!
https://www.fasttech.com/p/1567100 V5 Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer foggy version / 1*airhole <- LOVE IT!!!!
https://www.fasttech.com/p/1490700 Vivi Tank BCC Bottom Coil Clearomizer (3.5mL) 2.4ohm <- LOVE IT!!!!
https://www.fasttech.com/p/1536403 eVod-C BBC Bottom Coil Clearomizer (2.0mL) [Polycarbonate] 2.4ohm
https://www.fasttech.com/p/1456403 GS-H5 Bottom Coil Clearomizer (3.0mL) [Polycarbonate] 2.4ohm

Adding:

2pythkk.jpg

http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/...ectronic-cigarettes-round-mouth-atomizer-6-pa - TIP DISINTEGRATES and the vape is not that great... looks gorgeous on an eGo, but eh...

I taught myself pascal and Fortran from old books dug out of the back of the school library using notebook paper. I didn't have a computer. Took a few of my programs I wrote to the CompSci teacher and asked her to show me how to put the stuff in a computer to run them, she didn't, but she did sign me into her class for next year. She put me in the third year class, skipping basic and first year C++. Ended up teaching myself basic and java after that. Never tried to get a job in computers, just wanted to learn it. But I do tinker on android. I hack and mod phones for fun.

Are you putting some PG, VG, or e-liquid in the space in top cap that holds the o-ring? I find it essential. After the o-ring is snug in that space, lube it up completely. I usually use the fill screw for the KFL, but I fill the Kayfun 3.1 ES from the top by removing the cap. I've never had the o-ring stick to the chimney or fall out of place. :2c:

I tried all that with no luck. It doesn't even stick to the chimney, it slides right down :-( the space up in the cap seems way too shallow to hold the o-ring in place.

That is because it is not a holder. It is an index and o-ring stop(positioning groove). Though the clear/white silicone o-rings seem to lock in place. (see Rocket top)
Only site I have found with Rocket originals is Russian.

What ^^^ said.

If you can't get a drip tip size o-ring in there, there's something wrong. If the "positioning groove" can't hold the o-ring in place by itself without the chimney going through it, I don't see how it would ever make a proper seal. Sorry. :( RMA/return maybe?

It got quiet in here. Maybe this will get you all going:

$19.79 Nemesis Style Mechanical Mod - brass version at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
Sanded from 220 grit down to 800 and polished, then waxed. Logos and serial# completely removed. ;)

P1010001_zpsd813cd8a.jpg

Having saved so much buying this mod from FT, it was easier to justify the $30 brass IGO-W top cap and drip tip.
BTW, I just had to try using a naval brass top cap to see if it imparts any flavor changes, which it does not. :)

Woo! New Arrivals!

Nothing e-cig related tho... but a nice little something for the kids to poke their eardrums out with, while shedding light on the inner workings of the human brain.

... and a little something in case you wondered where to hang your car.
