Hi all - I've mentioned before that any package that comes from China usually ends up in my mailbox and then I deliver it to the rightful owner.

Well, for the first time, my order is lost,

Looks like a post office screw-up. It was supposed to be delivered 7-14 and said out for delivery. It did not come and, sometimes, that has happened before and it comes the next day so I waited. It did not come Monday or today, Tuesday. When I look up the tracking there is a big red alert and it says "Awaiting Delivery Scan".

I noticed this past week that the great mailman we have has not been around. Don't know if he is on vacation or is no longer on this route.

It was not a huge order, but I am bummed.

Does e-packet come with any kind of insurance -- probably not but thought I'd ask.

I had a package go missing on Christmas Eve last year. Used the PO complaint system(was a little hard to find). Tracking showed that they were unable to deliver due to inacessable location. That was incorrect, and I blew my top. They delivered it on Christmas morning! It turns out that they were sent home by a supervisor at 7pm.. They called and made sure I got it OK.
Do contact PO...at least get a start on an investigation.

Unfair to blame FT for the weird shipping stuff. Once they pass it to EMS or other packet consolidator, they have no more control than you do. Either spend the money for a courier service (OUCH) or buy from a US vendor. The price is higher here, cause they paid for the good shipping!:D

Huh? Did you read the posting? I do not think I blamed FT at all. Our trusty USPS is the one at fault here - they lost it ("Looks like a post Office screw up"). It happens. Then I said I was bummed and then I asked a question, "Does e-packet come with any kind of insurance -- probably not but thought I'd ask."

That is all - no blaming.

You're right - a courier service for what I ordered ain't happening!

It was for small electronics - authentic and at a great price. I have no problem eating it - such is life. Was just curious about the epacket specifics. I genuinely did not know if it included anything. I sell on ebay and do not sell internationally.

First class mail in the US which offers free tracking has no guarantees either but that I know.

I ordered something on ebay in July of 2015 --keyboard stickers for the keyboard. It was marked as delivered but it was not delivered to me. I figured someone rec'd it in error and did not give to me. I did not leave the seller any feedback. they wrote asking for feedback and I said I was not blaming them but the package got lost. They were super nice and send me another. In July of 2017 I rec'd the package ---unbelievable. It must have been sitting somewhere. I took a picture of it unopened with something showing the current date and sent it to them. They could not believe it either.

I will wait a few days and then order and pay again.

Chellie, with love, you need to check the thread. That comment was not a reply to yours.:D I did reply to you, about USPS, but that one was a general comment about the thrust of the thread. Read back thru the comments, and you will see what I meant by it.
Fasttech has problems sometimes with their inventory management and estimating ship times, that is certain. Once they drop it on the consol, though, it is someone else's baby. The all-in-one tracker services only update once a day at most, and USPS doesn't always start their tracking until Customs is cleared. Given the sheer volume of little packets, I am surprised that it works at all. Look how long it took for USPS to finally get any tracking at all...
You said your package showed "Awaiting delivery scan", right? If your delivery guy never scanned it, it may not have been put on his truck. At least you know it was at your local PO, and they know where to look. Does it still show up that way, now?

Our beloved mailman was gone for a week , me and my neighbors were trading mail like we were playing poker. Man, I was never so happy to see my "real" mailman again although our branch is having issues.

Probably decent motivation to keep up my NON shinyitis streak and etc.

Ours goes the other way. We tend to get better service when the regular is off.

Haha yeah when we get a new mailman things get messy my neighbors across the street have the same last name so we often get each others mail.
Yeah I didn't receive my scissors, our mailman is new aswell. He delivered our neighbors packages to my house several times. I don't know what to say to the guy.

Ours has always been awful but it's not always their fault. Without being too specific for obvious reasons: our address is "xx WEST blahblah street" and a block away is "xx EAST blahblah street". USPS, fedex, pizza, I've even had repair guys climb up on my roof and not believe me when I tell them they have the wrong house.

I don't order from FT anymore. Had 4 orders with them, only one arrived, one has been refunded and two (still not delivered after 2 months) are currently subject of FT / HK post enquiry, both registered air-mail. Not that impressive.

Contrast that with 3F Vape and Ali Express, around 20 orders in all, all of which arrived in tact within 7-8 days.

Might not be down to FT but I'll stick with suppliers who are using more reliable postal services.

Thank-you - apologies if I was snappy - I had thought it was me :) I did find the lost package link - do not know if they will find it. They are usually small envelopes and it was on the truck that day so I think it just may have gotten lost somewhere. My mailman seems mia and the replacement looks like she would rather be anywhere else than picking up extra work.

I think the good mailman is gone. Yesterday, I waited for the mail lady that has been around the past week and she is quite unfriendly. Asked what happened to the regular guy and she said she did not know. Told her about my missing package that looked like it was on the truck but was not delivered. I told her it was small and maybe she could look in the truck because maybe it dropped.

She pretty well bit my head off and told me that this is not her route and that now has to pick up this route in addition to her regular route and that is why she delivers the mail at 5:30 pm instead of 2pm, that she has not had a proper lunch break in over week and that she now has hundreds of businesses and residential deliveries in addition to her already full plate. She also told me that she is filing a union complaint about the increased workload. Jeez!

If she wasn't so nasty I might have had some compassion.

I have juice that was supposed to come today priority mail and it does not even show on the informed delivery status that is has gone out.

I have a PO box - guess I need to start using it more.

I got my package. Funny that only yesterday thanks to advice here I filled out the lost mail form. I saw the mail lady today and other than reaming me when I asked a few questions she did not say a word about the package.

Just now, a neighbor came by with it. He just came home from work and my package was in his mailbox.

So they found the package (one day shy of a week) and still delivered it to the wrong address. lol At least I got it.

And @Sugar_and_Spice I will use the PO Box more. I do use it for most things but I am usually anxious for my vape stuff and had it delivered to the home. No more!
