I'm sure it's been covered here as to why fasttech's shipping is so slow, but I'm going to avoid them when items are available from other vendors in the future.

I ordered a Squape clone which was delayed in the initial shipping. (typical fasttech, no surprise there) About the same time, I also ordered a Rocket version 2 from Desire E-Cig, also shipping out of China.

In less than 10 days from time of order, I had my new Rocket V2 from Desire. The SQuape which shipped out on the exact same day as the Rocket, is still in "Origin Post is preparing shipment" limbo in China even after I've been enjoying the new Rocket for 3 days.

If 101Vape kept a nicer inventory, I'd order from them exclusively, but will be keeping Desire E-Cig in mind for future purchases. And they take PayPal too!

Well I just ordered for the first time off of fast tech. Time to see how slow the total wait time will be. It said about 5 days til it ships and then 8-12 days for shipping, but with all of the people on here saying how slow they are, I'm expecting at least a month lol. Nothing too necessary for the time being, just ordered 3 rdas, a drip tip and a 50 pack of o rings

How much does everyone order from FT before you get non faulty and working stuff? I say this because I have only been vaping since October 2013 upto to now it's been mostly a miss here's a run down of my orders and faults I made over a couple of months. I started in October and Stopped ordering in December.

Ithaka ceramic is stuck solid in the SS cup, I haven't had to replace it yet but I will need to break the ceramic to get it out it may be bent or the cup has been machined incorrectly.

Kayfun 3.1 ES Polished, fill valve faulty on delivery leaks

Kayfun 3.1 ES Sandblasted, no juice channels

Taifun GT Chrome plated deck, still haven't received a working SS replacement deck.

R91 / KFL Non SS screws, juice channels too shallow (had to diamond file) and threads were not good.

I only ordered 5 RBA's 4 were faulty my FT experience was poor to say the least one thing that has come out of ordering cheap from FT is to buy bona fide vape gear it works and no stress and can be traded or sold. In comparison all my orders from FocalCig were faultless and better quality KFL, Taifun GT and KF 3.1 etc for not much more money.

What's everyones thoughts?

2 marked in Red are not defects, but user preference. Chromed parts are used in Many, Many Clearomizers and Carto Tanks and have NOT proven to be an issue. So far, only Sub Ohm vaping on Drippers has created any issues due to EXCESSIVE Heat expansion of dissimilar metals.
FT has deamed it proper to meet the Request of upgrading even though it is not technically their responsibility and may not be needed.

Ithaka - Stuck cup
When ready to replace or remove - Place in cup of Boiling water for several minutes - press out from bottom. Not an uncommon problem, even in Originals. :)

It's a good idea to set your expectations low in regards to Fasttech's shipping. After numerous orders, I have yet to be able to set them low enough.

I do find it funny that "chromed brass" always comes up as a concern when it's used in cheap Fasttech clones, but no one ever seems to care about there chromed brass Protanks.

Another neat thing about Package Buddy is that you can use their web page to add packages. No need to copy-paste stuff from e-mails on your phone.

You do need to make an account for this to work, tho.

Package Buddy

... would be even easier if FT gave us a bar code to scan for our orders... hmm...

I just click the tracking link from the shipping email FT sends via Gmail app and it adds the # into Package Buddy.

Hmm... I don't get that option. Only to open with a browser. Seems I can't manually "share" links to it either. Are you using the Pro version? I could swear I purchased Pro over a year ago... but apparently not.

WooHooo!!! Surprise delivery!!
Just some odds and ends, the order total was a whopping $6.47. Put it in 1/26 during CNY, shipped 2/4 via free airmail. Not too shabby considering.

The drip tips look puuurrrfect on my mini ego setups, and the cleaning brush is beyond wonderful.

Edit: I took out the "s" and the products still aren't showing. Whyyyy???

Sitting in ISC New York, Must have used a different method than used to. Normally SF/USA and cross country trip.
Only 6 Days
May reach me by Monday if it gets out ahead of Pending Storm - Titan.

Anyone here Tried the KayFun Lite https://www.fasttech.com/products/1605200 ?
Purchased on a whim since it is as cheap as the Rocket Tanks and they perform great. Hoping a little work and this will do the same.

Looks like if Customs keeps things normal we can get back to enjoying shopping once more.

hey thanks for the links, some good gear you linked there. ill have to grab some silica sometime soon. how long does the cross country trip usually make? my stuff splashed down in sf. i figure 4-5 days, right? im also in md.

Do you put the USPS as the shipper so when it hits the US it shows up or do you put the China Post/Hong Kong Post as the sender with deliverer as USPS?

The Malaysia one in the pic is the one they use for batteries. I use originating carrier as HK Post if using them. Haven't figured out which is China Post (nothing shows for me until it's processed in US and hits USPS for me). And epacket, using USPS as originating carrier shows all. And for everything I use USPS as delivering carrier cause you get better info once it hits US. But I've had packages show as being in NY USPS for a week just processed and nothing else. Then I get I get a notification of delivery. Or if its batteries, get a notice of them leaving a note. Which that's a nice part. SURPRISE you got a package.
