United States
Hint - USA Recepients
No batteries - No eliquids

Hong Kong Post - Express Packet
:D

I think that's everyone, not just the USA.

For the record, my order contains atomizers only:

All of these have shipped, but are sitting in "Acceptance"

I had this last one separated into it's own order because it looks like it will never be back in stock. I paid the extra two bucks to get the air shipping. They are claiming that it will be available on the 12th of March, exactly on month after I ordered it.

Waiting...waiting...waiting...

, Origin Post is Preparing Shipment
2014-02-26 12:57, Processed Through Sort Facility, SHENZHEN EMS, CHINA
2014-02-25 16:43, Acceptance, CHINA

It's been preparing shipment since the 26'th. My last two orders took about 8 days, so I'm still hopeful. ;)

Yeah that's still happening with a few of my orders. Some made it over and have updated, while others are still stuck at that stage. They were all accepted on the same day, dunno why some make it through quicker than others.

Anybody have any luck with a kf/Russian style atomizer? I got the Russian and it keeps flooding. Too tight an airflow. No difference with the screw completely removed. It floods less with 100 VG and the coil about 1.5mm off the deck and taking small shallow drags. But still floods, just not as much. I'd like to get a tanked rebuildable. Doesn't have to be kayfun styled.

TIA

Edit
Just remembered I have the clear sections on their way shipped right now. So I guess maybe I'll try a 3.1 version with the bottom section on it.

TIA

so when does it flood?
immediately after refilling?
what kind of wick you are using?

Cotton. Used a little, a lot, 2mm and 2.4mm coils ranging from .8 to 1.8 ohms. Using the fill hole on the bottom. Floods after a few hits. Floods after one pull if you pull hard. I'm wondering about drilling out the hole. Maybe it has some debris from machining in it.

It's just a very very tight draw. Creates too much vacuum and pulls too much liquid in.

I had the same problem with a Kayfun Lite clone I bought off an Ebay vendor in Sparks, NV

The big problem with it was that it was machined with (4) four very wide juice channels. That clone would gurgle and flood all the time no matter what wick you would put in it.

I finally got fed-up enough with it that I threw the damned thing in the trash and ordered an authentic Kayfun Lite Plus (ver 2) from 'InTaste' in Germany. InTaste was fast in shipping ... I ordered on Saturday, and by Monday morning (today), I had a FedEx tracking number.

Look at the horrible threads on the base of this POS:

The bottom line is ... When ordering a cheap clone, you just don't know what your going to get. You might get lucky, or you might not.

If you unscrew the center post screw out at the bottom, you will see a hole in the screw. This hole should align with the airflow hole when you screw it back in. When the hole is not align, you will experience tight draw no matter how you adjust the airflow screw and will cause flooding. Use a pin or needle as a guide to make sure the pin can go all the way in the center airflow channel. This should solve the tight draw and flooding problem.

This is incorrect on most Kayfun copies. The Bore that the center screw slides through is Larger than the screw. This allows free air movement around the screw. The screw MUST be tight no matter where the hole lines up. this holds the + post in position.

However, I have found Pieces of plastic and other machining debris while doing a first cleaning. This would restrict air flow.

New units should be fully stripped down, thoroughly cleaned and inspected. Paper clip straightened and poked through holes to be sure everything is open.

That's about what happened. Looked like a piece of the bit broke off in the hole.

I it out. Doesn't look good anymore, but it functions now. Have an adjustable airflow with a piece of scotch tape. :what: I'll clean it up later. Right now I'm just glad it works.

First the tip was machined wrong. Too small and would just fall out of the hole. Doesn't fit anything else I have. It is just that dam small. Then the air hole is too small.

Eh oh well. I didn't open a ticket on it and fixed it myself. Why bother if I could do it? Only paid 20 bucks for it and wasn't expecting much from it anyways.

Yes, the center screw needs to be tight. I usually do a complete dis-assembly of them and clean them in the ultra sound dish washing detergent bath. Do a light sanding of the threads with 1000 grit sandpaper and wash again in the ultra sound bath with water.

Aligning the air hole will give better air flow.

Sound like me, Got it - may as well tinker and see what happens.:)

A little filler and some paint, yours will be good as new. First Purple KayFun.
