I kinda look at ordering from FT like a crap shoot. What will I get will it be good or not. Well so far I have to give them credit. In over 20 orders the only problem I've had is with a keyboard for my computer that they keep sending me back. I keep trying to tell them keep it and I think I am getting close, maybe this time when I send it back they will keep it.

You seriously need to stop with the incorrect information. Chrome does not Mix in e-liquids. Brass Plated with chrome CANNOT LEACH LEAD. NOT POSSIBLE, no way, no how.
Look at the shear number of clearomizers available - ALL Chrome over Brass parts and tell me someone would not have released a scientific study by now if it were correct.
If you are not an accredited metallurgist maybe you should not go there.

some help please guys if you will, going to get my first RTA and wanted to know what kayfun is better in your opinions. I like the look of the kayfun lite but is the 3.1 any better or more or less just the same bar looks and adjustable air flow. also please what are these for:

will I need these for the kayfun?

one last question also lol, what awg of wire do you find best for the kayfun. im not fussy on ohms really and use any coil from 1.5-2.5 and want to know what would be the best?

no opinion about the screws. i use this wire but i twist it https://www.fasttech.com/p/1456600. very good wire. a little thin but when you twist it is just perfect

I honestly couldnt find any on fasttech and assumed they never done it lol, just pre made ones. does it come on a reel or wraped round something like cardboard as I might try it? thanks.

If you want to try different wires you might look at stealthvape.co.uk really good price and lots of different gauges

The wire on FT isn't particularly cheap, to be honest.

I see a lot of people order wire from Temco on eBay. Personally I buy mine from the UK. Even with paid shipping, you'd probably be looking at faster shipping and a lot more wire for your buck.

Here's where I get mine. Don't mind the name. It's just the vaping related front of a proper wire making company. The wire comes on reels:

@jp_cfc09 For the Kayfun, I'd order some 28, 30 and 32 awg and try my way to finding what's most to my liking. You can probably skip the 28 if you don't plan on running below 1 ohm resistance.

Edit: Something went wrong with the quoting.... and I just noticed jp is in the UK. It's a no-brainer imho. Cheap good wire straight from the guys who make it. I see they charge £3 less per 50 meter than stealthvape. And they do a 5 for the price of 4 if you order a bunch.

no just like that. no reel nothing.
about different gauges. the thicker the wire, the lower the resistance but also the higher the RESPONSE TIME. if you twist a thin wire you have a fairly quick response time with a low resistance. that's why i go for twisted thin wire, and this one from FT works real nice

thanks guys, sorted for wire and going to try a few different types to see what I like but just got to decide on kayfun lite or 3.1. leaning more to the kayfun lite as I like the looks. probably end up with both so better question to ask myself is which to get first lol

Just finished cleaning the new batch of KFL from FT, they are much better than the last batch I received. Threads are cleaner, the juice channels are deep and smooth.

Some things to note:

Igo-w, if it's a copy they went the extra mile on the box and instruction sheet.

The SS Astro I received has a polished finish, not brushed as described. Also the locking ring is not reverse threaded, guess the order got goofed on this batch?

Is yours the all stainless steel or the mixed ss and brass? The mixed doesn't have the reverse locking and is polished.

If you ordered the ss and got the mixed, at least you got the mixed at about $4 cheaper.

I wanted reverse threading, that's why I got the Atom instead. It's a solid mod for sure... button is great.

Don't hate me. Your Blue Tank Idea is NOT going to work with the Rocket. Sorry to say, Rocket threading is different and not compatible. Already tried to go there.

That sucks about your Astro SS. I ordered one on Sunday. (Scheduled ship date says 3/17) I hope I get what is advertised. I also ordered replacement kick tube for chi you and a kick. I've got some 18650s on the way.

The atom looks real good too. I almost ordered that one instead of the Astro. I was also considering the origin, launcher v2,private v2,and the copper nemesis...but I knew the wait for copper Benny would be forever.

Just a question for people who used the usps method via hkp. Did your order say it was ” origin post is preparing shipment” for 3 days or more?
