My last package said "acceptance" until the day it was arriving at my house. They aren't always the most diligent when scanning packages

only issue I see, is the daggum artifact rings (that could be due to the LED not being centered in their demo model)...uggh!!!
I have subsequently build my own driver (used a fellow flashlight afficianados open source PCB from OSHPark) and replaced the crappy Hi/Lo/Strobe with a Nanjg 105C style driver that I flashed custom firmware (I had to strip the components off the Nanjg to solder em to the board), it now has Turbo (wide open) with automatic fallback to high after 2 min, high, med, low (and no more crappy flashies or blinkies! [and it has low power alert/shutdown])

Coooooool... I didn't even read that it has a mag switch. I just ordered it about a 1/2 hour ago. Now I KNOW I'll be happy with it. Awesome.

Thanks for the comeback WH. I got antsy and placed my order. I went with the one I posted ($9.41 Cree XM-L T6 3-Mode 975-Lumen Zooming LED Flashlight - 1*18650 / with clip / beam range 500m at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping). It appears to be pretty much identical to the one you list, only a few cents more . I like the idea of an on board charger a lot but don't like the switch placement on the unit you listed. I see it getting turned on accidentally if it is rolling around the tackle/tool/glove box.
I just replaced the switches in 2 of the nemisis I have yesterday with magnets. It makes it so much smoother and was so easy to do. I am just amazed at all you can learn from youtube.
Seems singopore post are messing about everyone lol, im in the same boat too mate and if you cheek the fasttech forums under shipping theres loads. Seems mostly all orders that dispatched overseas on the 5th, 6th and 7th havent arrived yet, a few are saying they are starting too but mines hasnt yet. Thats one long a.. flight lol, 18 days and counting from dispatched overseas.

Received my 2014 SS Astro clone today. It's a smartly designed mech that works in many configurations. Top cap has a very cool design, which is engraved well instead of laser etched like the 2013 brass/SS mix option at FT. Brass floating pin isn't too tight and works well. The locking ring isn't reverse threaded like the previous batch of this listing, but with the knurl it's easy to grasp and works well.
There's a couple fairly minor issues. It looked pretty clean when it came, but a good cleaning and polishing revealed a fair amount of hidden much and improved the switch and threads. The threads are good, not great. There's a handful of sharp edges and imperfections in the threading, which is pretty common with clones. The switch has a nice short through and is good, but I'm not 100% happy with it. I'll get the magnetic upgrade which may improve it for me.

whats the smallest/lightest mod on here that fits a 350 battery? just looking for a new mechanical.
You would be totally agitated if you used my FT Brass Nemesis for a day. Very low v-drop and the switch truly is butter smooth.
Both my orders are now in acceptance at HKP - Moving along ahead of expected shipping dates(2 days early)
I think China is close to business as usual again.
The Astro I just received is my smallest mech. Very small in 18350 mode, slightly smaller than the Nemesis which is also very small.
Postman didn't deliver my FT order because no one answered the door. I have no idea exactly why although I can guess, FastTech has began to request signatures upon delivery to my house.
Guess I'll have to stick around tomorrow.

Well, my order was shipped on the 3rd of march and made it to the US in 11 days. Fastest any order has made it over yet for me. Now the USPS has held it in Chicago for 7 days and apparently are going to take a U.S. tour before they ship it to KS. It has left Chicago and been scanned in Michigan and now Ohio. So, someday it may make it to KS just not this day.
