Gotta say i'm pretty impressed with the quality of my new brushed stingray clone. Button took a bit of work but other than that its machined VERY well imo, really like the nearly seamless look and its already starting to get a nice patina.

True that. I haven't taken my button apart yet. So far, no problems, and machining is awesome. Stands up with a kayfun on it, unlocked. Happy about that...

I'm going to return my Ithaka as it's a little too finicky compared to the Russian clone. I want to get my first mech mod but there are so many... I like the Astro, Atom, Maraxus, private and launcher v2, any help picking one would be appreciated!

Nemesis all the way. From your list I've got an Atom. REALLY like this mech. In 18350 it super stealthy and looks great with a kayfun Lite. 22.8 mm compared to standard 22mm but not too noticeable. It doesn't however have venting in 18350 mode if thats a concern to you. I would stay clear of the M16, know it's not on your list but you mentioned the Private. The M16 is really shunky, not rigid when telescoped, and the threads strip like the Chippendales. Aluminium is a big no no for me now. Just feels cheap and tacky, like you got your mod in a Christmas cracker.

Enjoy the Aqua, great atomizer. I ended up with the Astro, Launcher V2 and copper nemesis for mods. The nemmy is getting replaced, my first batch one was crap. Astro and Launcher both get daily use and are great. Might add one more, SS Stingray, good paps clone or tree of life maybe.

I don't think we ever got the totality as in what form of shipping was it. If it was standard airmail there is no way of anybody knowing if it was delivered or where if it was. There is no tracking unless shipping is upgraded on the order. In that case they know no more than you do. Not intending to be a buttehead just to explain is all.

IMO ignore standard airmail use because you never know anything abt the order and I have did airmail many times and it takes a month or more everytime (usually more) but that is just my experience in many many orders too many to count. Pay for e-pkt or a shipping method with tracking and it is free 20.00 or more and 2.00 on a tiny order. I have an airmail right now 7 weeks out there a tiny order. I would never order anything from overseas without a tracking # but that is JMO but I order lots from asia as in a dozen times a month and always use registered or something with tracking FT is just 1 of many I use. To each their own I want tracking so I know it was shipped and where it went.

peace out and good luck

Fair enough, I did not add I did pay for the upgraded shipping.... measely .41 cents... if memory serves.... Here's the last shipping info: December 21, 2013 , 9:27 am

Interesting. I went ahead with Malaysian Post for the first time tonight because of your post. Ordered some more Chaplin drip tips... got a 5-pack. Doing something fun with them. :)

I'm curious to see the transit time for this one. I normally use ePacket.
Huh! For an item that was listed as "Ships in 5 business days", this latest order shipped today (the very next day) via Malaysian Post. I just might try them again for my next order.

Thanks and I feel for ya. I have never had 1 get lost I did have a SINGAPORE 1 that was over 2 months here I had given up on it and was very small. It looked like it was ran thru a grinder when it appeared and had oil on the outside maybe fell behind something and was lost. Do as someone suggested try ATTEN Sulfie in a thread on the shipping or orders thread on FT forum explaining it maybe that will help ya. It either got waylaid on the plane to us or they bumbled it at ISC looks like, that was what mine showed that was lost.

For anybody interested these do pretty good on cotton they look like they won't but they cut it quite clean most times. And they are great little paper scissors too I will fetch a few more pair later on myself. They cut cotton best middle to tip. Lots better than clippers do.

I have a second battery shipment coming via Malaysia Post. It got to LA in two days! This one may beat the other by a day making it five days from order to my mailbox. This is in comparison to a mech clone that I chose my usual method of HK Post. That left HK for the US on 4/3, that's the last I heard of it.

I've got a lot of mods and the aluminum M16 might be my favorite. It doesn't feel cheap at all. It's light because it's aluminum. It's easily my hardest hitter. You just have to be careful with it. I've married an Omega to it that comes off once a month to clean the contacts. I paid $11 for it and hit it thousands of times. I would say that's good value.

I ordered a drip tip from them at the end of January. It made it to the states, was shipped to the wrong state! Then quit moving all together for over two months. Fastech did finally refund my money. Low and behold just the other day, April 21 it showed up in the mail! I had loooong given up on ever seeing it. Will it only took three months!

SIGH...FT is getting so slow, I don't even WANT what I ordered so long ago...I used to be a FT "junk"key////NOT working for me, anymore.

My orders are far between now also but it's not so much due to the slowness but simply I'm pretty much stocked up on everything I want. Of course I'm still ordering a couple more Kayfun lites because.....well just because I need to track something!
