I placed an order back on 3/11/14 all I got was a empty envelop I'm still waiting form an answer from them. My order was for 78$ the package had 50$ insurance at this point I wish they would just credit me the 50$ insurance ill eat the loss just to recover some of my money, and a Lesson learned don't bother with SlowTech.

Sounds like bad luck or that someone snatched your items from your mail. (Just like when nexus 5 hit the market. There was quite a few UPS that stole the phone from the box.)
So it can happen... :-/

Check the picture of your order (package) at fasttechs site. They always take a picture on your package. There you can see if it's a small package or not.

And as for the shipping, my last 3 orders came within 3 weeks which is quite okay. (To sweden.)

My daughter found the solar powered grasshopper in her Christmas stocking this past year. Santa shops at FT too. Do you want me to ask her if she'll trade you for the cockroach? :D
Thanks but will pass, the cockroach gives me the creeps but makes for a great gag item around strangers.

I'm also ordering less often because I simply have what I like, in fairly large quantities. :)

Yesterday, though, a very pretty little mixed Turtle Ship v. 1 mod arrived. This one: $21.79 Mixed Turtle Ship V1 Style Mechanical Mod at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

First, it's gorgeous. Beautifully made. I got the V.1 simply because I prefer the smaller ship logo and the meaning of the v.1 quotation over the V.2's.

The v.1 does have an issue with its center pin, however - it is a bit too long - about 1 mm too long for my Russian to sit flush on it. Being a somewhat OCD little old lady, I decided to try to get someone to shorten the pin length for me, and found a neighbour who did it for me in about 10 seconds without asking me what on earth it was for.

Result: a perfectly flush, super pretty combination. It's great on all levels. :) People seem to prefer the v.2 and I can understand that, but by modifying the pin, the v.1 is a very cool option.

What does the quote say on 1 and 2.

According to Kwill2k47 on the FT forum, who I think is Korean,
The engraving on the back of the turtleship v1 says "The soldier who fights to death shall live, but the soldier who fights to live will die," It sounds a lot more epic in Korean. Yi soon shin, the supreme admiral who created the turtleship, is my personal favorite hero. He's just been through everything conceivable to man (a king who is jealous of his popularity with the people almost beats him to death for supposed treason but releases him knowing he's all korea has in the imjin war, his wife and child were killed in the middle of the war, he cared for every single one of his soldiers like a father, loved the people of his country and put them as a priority over crushing the enemy, never lost a single battle even against impossible odds (13ships vs 100 some odd ship)

The v.2 says partially that a single slash of a sword will make the mountains bleed - I can't find Kwill's translation on the FT forum for that one right now.

If I remember my reasoning at the time I ordered it (including shinyitis-induced brain confusion), I think I also wanted a mixed version, which is only sold in v.1, as well as the smaller ship engraving and the calligraphy.:)

Hana Modz and Hades clones just hit FT.

Sure to temporarily sell out soon.

Get'em while they're hot.:)

ENJOY

I feel like an idiot asking this, but could you or anyone tell me why the Hana Modz is a good thing? I really can't see the attraction of a mod that is only variable-wattage, and only functions at over 7 watts, but then I am old and stuck in my ways.

Hades has been there on FT for some time now. The Hana Modz clone they have listed is actually a DNA20 clone instead of DNA30.
I suggest go for Sigelei 20W(I ordered for FT, and have been using for about a week now) which is an awesome device.

The reason why Hana is being anticipated so much is not because of the device itself, but coz of the chip instead.

VW or VV at the end of the day is just the same. I prefer VW because i set 1 device at 8w and another one at 12w for dual coils and i just switch the tank i wanna vape without worrying about the voltage, all my coils are 2ohms so having VV would be just the same :p

If the chip inside is as good as the real dna20, it has a flat signal, good battery checks for protection and 20W for the folks that want that kind of power. To my eyes this hana clone is a huge upgrade over an MVP2 if the chip actually works the way it should, particularly because of the replaceable battery and subohm, just pop a 2900mah 10A Panny PF and you have more vape time than a MVP2 in a smaller package.
That said tho, it all depends if the chip works as it is supposed to.

Btw, 2 days ago i said to myself "i'm glad i'm in maintenance mode now, $16 of juice each month and i don't need anything else" obviously i already have one of the 18650 hana clones ordered...took me 10 seconds :p
