I think I am over the withdrawal pains. fasttech just has not excited me in the least the last few months.

I think I've gotten tired of so many items being 5-7-12 days out before shipping. by the time it does finally ship and you wait another 2 weeks to receive it, it is obsolete/succeeded.

I will say, my last purchase - Their least expensive 4Nine mod - is one of the nicest mods in my collection. Absolutely perfect little piece of craftsmanship.

Well just placed another order for a few things, just hope things don't grind to a halt like Sept 2013. The order I placed exactly 1 year ago today, Sept 7th 2013, my very first FT order, took 48 days for delivery because of customs slowdown. Lets just hope that does not happen again this year.

Well, that explains the seemingly incredible slowness of the two orders I have already had shipped last week (one still not showing up "not found" the other sitting in "preparing to ship" out of the SHENZHEN EMS, CHINA sort facility. Sucks, I have two more orders that are supposed to ship one tomorrow, and one more says "3 days" but not sure about that one, it may be longer. Good thing none of the stuff I ordered is emminently important and I can wait. I got a little spoiled when my first couple of orders from FT got here (chicago area) in 7-8 days each time.

Cindy I have both the 35 and 45mm drip tips and like them both. The light pink in the set is the same color as the pink nemisis tubes I got. Looks good with the kayfun light.

Order them separate from anything else. Use their suggested shipping - (it is pre-selected for Battery orders)
Forget you placed the order and be surprised in a Month or so when they arrive.

It appears that Ego batteries can ship via Singapore post which is slow but faster than my loose batteries. Loose batteries now ship HK post surface with estimated 2 month shipping. Mine shipped Philippine Air which is no longer even an option.

I think that about anything I order from FT if it is such a close margin. The answer "for me" is always... is what I'm ordering something I need immediately, or just something I am looking to add to my collection and enjoy when it gets here? If I can wait, it is absolutely worth the $10 (or whatever the amount is). "A penny saved..." etc...

MY issue with ordering external batteries (not ego style, I would order those) is that there is a lot of controversy over the quality of those types of batteries from China. I am still a newbie when it comes to any external batteries, and especially any I may decide to load into a mech, and I don't quite trust them. I may be completely misguided in that, and sometimes I wonder if those 'warnings' are not just people trying to keep business for themselves or people they want to see get it. Sort of like the clone vs authentic fervor that often times errupts.

Once I figured out that you can't order e-liquid, loose batteries or knives from there, my orders have been coming pretty quick (within 2 weeks, based on stock). Around Jan/Feb, my nephew had an issue with his order, which included e-liquid and a powerbank that shipped with two loose 18650 batteries - his order took a couple of months, arrived without the e-liquid, and the batteries were taken out - but I haven't had any issues. So to have it within 2-4 days vs. about 2 weeks (sometimes 1) to me isn't worth the extra money. Plus, the selection is so much better (drip tip fetish ).

I haven't actually tried this myself, and I can't remember if I read it here or the FT forums, but I'm pretty sure that built-in batteries (like in eGos or some of the meters) are OK to go USPS - not ePacket fast, but pretty close, and not crazy like Philippine Post. But I doubt if this would be true of items that come with say, a separate 18650 batt, so I try to steer clear of those, based on what my nephew went through.

I said the other day that my latest orders seemed to be stuck in China... one came today (9 days total) but completely skipped tracking from arrival at China sorting until it arrived at local post office... did not show up as left China and didn't show up in either Chicago customs or Chicago post. SO... it isn't FT, or international shipping, it is USPS tracking, lol. I have another order still showing as not found at all that should come in the next day or two if it is just a matter of no tracking showing, and another that should get here in a week, so we'll see. Hopefully the other that was 'restocking' and now shows as eta 1 day will ship by tomorrow as well, and arrive without any trouible.


NOW----oh man, my very first kayfun clone came today. It is the cheapest they had, the https://www.fasttech.com/p/1662505 and I LOVE IT. I cleaned it thoroughly although there didn't seem to be any greasiness or anything, and rebuilt it (I never use the prebuilds on anything. I prefer my own). Is the air draw somewhat tight... yes when compared to a rba, BUT, it is just fine and produces plenty of vapor (100%vg juice). The juice channels seem to be fine, I havne't had a dry hit as yet. I'm using a 100% cotton wick. The flavor is great.

The threads are a bit rough, but they work fine, and there is no whistling in the airflow. I am SO happy with it. I have a slightly more expensive v2 https://www.fasttech.com/p/1746202 on order (that's the one that was restocking) and I'm looking forward to it, and the fact that it has an adjustable airflow, but I really don't think it could be much better than this one. LOL If it is great, but I am thrilled with this one.

If I had to nitpick it, I'd say that even though it is VERY nice to look at, the "hot pink" tank from the picture (which would have matched my hot pink ACE) ended up really being dark purple, and when filled with juice actually does look "red" like the description claims. That is a very SUPER minor nit though on an otherwise beautiful looking tank.

All my DIY mixes are 50:50 PG/VG. You can go any nic level to your liking.

Ugh, so the logo-free GP Paps were updated with a new picture, and now I don't love it anymore. I canceled it and ordered a 4nine instead. I'm pretty much only using 18350s these days, and with my brass monkey, it's going to be teeny tiny.

Is this something new for tracking? I had an order ship this morning and followed the tracking link (even though I didn't think it would show up yet, and it didn't) but instead of the normal USPS tracking page, I got this:



I picked USPS via China post in the order, and that's how it shows as shipped on my order page on FT. This tracking page really threw me though. Is it sort of like a Stamps.com thing that has its own tracking even though it is using USPS and you can use the same numbers on the actual USPS tracking page to watch too? (Not that USPS tracking is all that good either, lol).
