Maybe they only send 1 plane a month to Canada from there
Even though it is only 3 hours away on the east coast, when it does move (which I hope is not a month), it will go past me to Tampa/Sarasota center on the west coast, before it comes back to me in the center of the state, has to go through the distribution centers.

Yep. I know the feeling well. Up here, it hits Mississauga (airport), processes through customs, then goes past the house to Stoney Creek before it comes back to Burlington. >.<

Yeah, which is why I use DHL global mail to Sudbury, my packages seem to go through customs in Montreal which is much quicker, I've had packages sit in customs for weeks multiple times down south... Drives me crazy knowing I could probably walk there quick then they sort it...

Just for those that don't know, I track my packages with Package Buddy, works great. Enter the tracking, put a description, done. I have mine checking every 3 hours, every time the package is scanned, you get an alert as to where it is at, I loved it so much I paid the $1.99 for the Pro version. Here are the links if you are interested.

Yes. Anyone importing needs a distributors license. Basically it appears like they want all imported products to go through distribution warehouses like cigarettes do. I'm guessing there will be some mark or stamp added saying the product has been through this, I don't know when that takes effect.

What bugs me is selective enforcement in that somethings are illegal after getting caught. I can forsee some stiff penalties on consumers say, if your pulled over for a traffic violation and have an unapproved device. Remember the OMB economic impact projected about 27 vaping products (including eliqid) would survive at the end of 2 yrs.

Oh my gosh! Yes! That's horrible! I had no idea this scenario was possible. I totally missed this.

So if I order from Fast Tech, for my own personal use, not for resale, I could get in trouble if I don't have a distributor's license? I don't remember reading about the OMB economic impact at all.

A FT ordered today and I think I soiled myself. ;) TWO WEEKS TO THE DAY to Toronto from China.

Crazy. That must be a new record. It was only a $30 order thru Singapore Post. Usually takes 4-5 weeks. :thumb:

I got 4 packages today. 2 ordered on the 4th 2 ordered on the 15th. Customs must really be on the ball.

Oh no. Not the black hole of Miami!!!!! You won't see it for a month!
Well I guess it is the shipping option you use. Not from FT, and the only shipping this company offered was DHL, and it was from Austria. Ordered Friday after they were closed, shipped Monday, cleared customs today Tuesday in Miami. At this rate it should be delivered tomorrow. Of course it costs for shipping, over $17, but 2 days travel time from the other side of the world, dam that is fast. :)

That's not going into effect immediately. I don't know when it will but I'm sure there will be posts about it. Deeming regulations go into effect in stages. Manufacturers have till December to start registering. Eliquids are starting 8/8 and shipping regs requiring pos id, signature on delivery which will increase domestic shipping costs. I got this from the timeline on Not Blowing Smoke website. They also have a fb page with a lot of vendors asking questions.

Do check out CASAA's website. They have links to the documents including the OMD report put out about a year ago. They are a great source for information and if you haven't sent emails to your congresspersons yet, some easy links to do that as well. It takes less than 5 min.

I got a strange one. Ordered a Pico w/Melo III on the 22nd, shipped right out, tracking showed on 26th, processed through facility 27th, figured it would show up in NY (or somewhere up there) like all my other orders over the years the first of this week. Well my app just notified me it arrived at 2:28 pm in Miami, Florida  I'm not complaining, because that is only about 3 hours away, just never had one go to Miami before.

Oh no. Not the black hole of Miami!!!!! You won't see it for a month!

Every time I've ordered something that's even remotely near the southeast, for some reason it routes through Miami where it sits and sits and sits and sits before there's even a hint of movement in that god forsaken facility there. If I see something is being routed through Miami, I automatically know it's going to take forever to receive the item. :(

Maybe they only send 1 plane a month to Canada from there

It's a lie to give you false hope that it'll arrive sooner than expected.
@retired1 I guess Miami must like me :D My Pico with Melo III from FT is out for delivery :rickroll:
12 days from order to delivery. :w00t: It was only a day in customs in Miami, fastest I have had a package from FT clear customs.
It will be a couple more hours until mailman runs, but I wasn't expecting it this quick, so I'm Happy.

The package from Austria that shipped Monday with DHL, was delivered at 2:00 pm, it cost a bit, but 2 days is awesome.

I just or ordered 3 x 5pk of authentic Aspire Triton 1.8ohm coils for my wife. At around $11/pk, that are waayyyy cheaper than what I can find them for in Toronto. Plus the 1.8 atritons are nearly impossible for me to find.

I have ordered a bunch of Aspire and Kanger "authentic" coils from FT, and they are always authentic. Also, as mentioned previously, it is easy to buy these products without using Bitcoin... I just order any item with the same value as my Aspire stuff, pay via PayPal, cancel the order immediately and request a GC and place my coil order with the GC as payment. Took me a couple of minutes, tops.
