My order wouldn't go through with epacket shipping because I had two bottles of Hangda juice in it. They would only allow me to use a very slow boat. I had no idea this was a rule at FT. Is this a new rule? Could it be in response to the vitamin e tainted THC situation?

I've never tried to buy e juice from China before so I have no clue if this is a new thing or not. Once I figured out what the problem was, I just took the juice out and the order sailed through with epacket shipping.

I knew that buying batteries from FT would get you a spot on the very slow boat, but I never knew that e juice would?

was fine with me_ as in i tried when it was the date for me, but not yet at UTC-6, and it didn't work; so they didn't start early. then ended up waiting till the next day in the evening and they hadn't ended early...

New update.

I was fully refunded after my persistent requests.
Got all the money back in gift certificates , my option, placed a new order and now it starts over again. Fingers crossed.

FT requested to report back if I ever receive the original order. They will invoice it with a special delay discount. I will pay it... it's only fair.

An advice to anyone in a similar situation: know the rules of the game, be persistant, be polite.

I ordered the 25mm Kennedy from Fastech. First of all it to a month to get here. Second, worst of all, I had to hold the negitive post with a pair of pliers to screw down the lead on my first build because the post is already spinning. I paid $8 for it. I guess it is my fault.

Some FT clones are better than others - it's always recommended to pop on to their customer forums and ask the regulars what they have bought and had good success with. Also check the reviews - they will usually tell you what you need to know.

Tracking shows my last order was put on a plane headed for JFK airport in NY on 11/24.

It could be just the usual Christmas slow down or it could be one of those instances where the tracking missed getting updated and it just shows up at your door one day. I had a couple of FT packages in October that showed they hadn't left China but I had received both already.

I think it's a combo of customs and the holiday rush.My Black Friday order shipped a day after i made it,and just got scanned from leaving customs last night,so longer than usual,but it is moving.My orders usually take less than 2 weeks.

I made three orders from China in November. One was accepted into the China postal system on 12/5 and cleared ISC NY during the wee hours of 12/14. It will be delivered on Tuesday. No complaints there, but I had an order recently from another Chinese vendor that took about a month from purchase to delivery and that one drove me crazy. It never said it was dispatched from China, and it never said it had cleared customs here. One day I just got a USPS notification telling me when my package would be delivered. My third order was just accepted into the China Postal system on 12/12 and hopefully will make it to the U.S. soon. I remember reading somewhere that customs were slowing things down a bit and that the Chinese vendors were switching up their routes as a result. All in all, I think things are moving along fairly well.

I have three orders out there - 2 from FT and one from 3F that have all been "Delivered to Air Transport" for over three weeks now with no other movement.
It's driving me crazy.

My recent purchase from FT was shipped DHL Ecommerce, even though I didn't choose DHL. I chose "USPS Expedited for Battery Products" as it was the only shipping option available for my order. USPS will ultimately deliver it, but DHL was the actual carrier from China to USA.

Anyway, I read elsewhere that DHL is going to end up sending me a bill for $30-40 for customs and "administration" fees (about 2-6 weeks after the package is delivered to me). Only about $2-3 of that is actually customs fees. Happened to others supposedly.

I hope this doesn't happen. My order didn't even cost me $20!!!

Has anyone else had this issue? Does avoiding buying batteries avoid the possibility of FT using DHL?

I hope so because I've been buying from FT for probably 4 years or so and never had anything shipped via DHL (but I don't think I ever bought battery products from them either, can't remember).

That happened to me too with 3F. I asked them to please check to make sure my package was on its way and not forgotten at the airport. They checked, assured me it was and then I had to wait several long days before I got an email from USPS saying it was in Los Angeles. I hope you get an email saying your packages are in the US very soon!
