Yep, now I have to get a MVP... That is high praise.

I hate to own it but I'm almost at fanboy level with the MVP so take it at face value. It's just so dang simple and functional, it's very difficult to dismiss unless you are into aesthetics more than function and raw practicality. Granted, it's not going to run a dual coil, 1 ohm Ithaka very well, but that's outside the scope of vaping and more in the hobby area AFAIK.
Who doesn't want a PV they can just take off the charger in the morning when they leave for work and plug it in when they go to bed just like their cell phone? It doesn't have to be complicated and you shouldn't have to carry around a bunch of damn spare parts in order to vape.
And if I drop it out of the boat and never see it again, I'll curse, but hey... 45 bucks isn't TOO hard to replace in the scope of things.
Since I'm also an iClear 16 fan, there are never worries about pins making contact, etc... they are made to work together and do that just fine.

My last order has been in HK oblivion for 9 days....anyone know what the problem could be? I've never had a pkg take this long before. I ordered batteries and an eGo battery.

i have the same issue. i have a mod that's been stuck in hong kong since the 2nd of this month. Never seen anything take that long before and i've ordered a ton of stuff from china in my day. I know of at least 5 other people that are having the same issue. something is out of the norm no dout.

This is what I found on the FT website:

Online tracking stopped updating for 2 weeks or more

Unfortunately the Universal Postal Union guidelines instructs that post offices worldwide to accept non-delivery complaints 30 days after shipping. Because of this, Hong Kong Post, USPS, Canada Post, Royal Mail, and your local postal system would not accept non-delivery inquiries within 30 days after packages are shipped.

After 30 days have passed, FastTech can immediately make official inquiries against your local postal system. If packages are confirmed lost, we send free replacements immediately.

Guys, have you been reading the last 3 days of threads???

No??? Then it would be a really good idea to get up to speed on the enforced security regulations in Hong Kong shipping facilities, which have been the subject of numerous posts, threads and discussions...

Short summary for people who REALLY don't want to read back: Hong Kong shipping facilities at the airport have been clamping down. Mountains of parcels are waiting to go through security. Waiting time for security checks seems to be hovering around 10 days. Not FT's fault. Some parcels may be rejected for containing batteries and liquid.

FT and every other China shipper, is trying to find work arounds. The latest info is that Singapore Post may be used much more often.

Please, guys, could we all READ the info around here and on FT forums before complaining that our parcel is being held up and thinking about retaliation?

ALL parcels going through HK are being held up for days and days and days. NOT JUST YOURS.

I, too have ordered lots of stuff from China over the past few years and never had a problem either.
This is unusual (at least in my experience).
It will all straighten out after a while.

No one is claiming to be singled-out or taking it personal - I'm pretty sure FT has no personal vendettas against anyone on ECF

EDIT ~ or if they do have a vendetta, they have a funny way of showing it by offering free shipping and great prices along with great customer service.

It isn't FT yelling and complaining. I've seen countless people in this thread, in the social forum FT folder and off in the forums on FT complaining very loudly about how they will not put up with THEIR parcel being held up, about how they're doing chargebacks, about how miffed they are that THEIR individual little concerns are not being addressed on the spot if not faster.

If I sound ....*y, I am.

The info is out there. It's all over the place. It's being updated, but a lot of people are simply not reading it, or digesting that it isn't about THEM.

Ok, ....** rant over.

It's amazing to me that people can't be bothered to read even the last 2 or 3 pages before posting about their issue, which happens to be the same issue everybody else is having.

I would say, just wait and see how the situation develops. I'm optimistic that things will work out. People are getting packages, after all. It's just taking longer than they thought. FT will keep people updated and they've promised to refund anything that gets seized.

Personally, I've always been more concerned and anxious about getting my stuff INTO my country, not out of China.

Yeah it's definitely random on orders/items. I have orders that say they have only been accepted for shipment that were placed at the end of August that don't have batteries or juice. I also have a orders for only 50 batteries that was placed on the 6th and is already in San Fran.
Still no update on my order that has been sitting in Chicago since the 7th of August. Well, the update of today is...
