Wait there are pif lists? I must have missed that somewhere. Maybe when I'm done building (and playing) my copper pinky switched meh ill give it away... I mean its a knock off in a sense because its all googled info, other than the switch portion (got help finding the right screws). But might be worth something to someone else
and here is a perfect example as to why the free loaders ruin everything. I feel your pain lisa. SOOO just to clarify... Im not being elitist with the need to buy only expensive mods. I'm also not condoning buying something outside of your means just because you need to keep up. Im saying buy what you want, and if its a little pricey, save your money instead of buying 4 clones at $20 and put that $100 away for a new mod.

the carts i got from FT were awful, fortunately they were just the stock that came in the couple carto tanks.
I only use BOGE, none of the smok or dct nonsense. From surevapes (free shipping) they are pretty cheap in a pack deal, esp if you punch your own holes with a tool
I primarily use cart tanks, occasionally clearos (PTs) and have just started using rdas. need to up my skill a little with the latter
Well then i guess you would lose your bet. Took them eight days to ship my order. On day seven they decided to split up my order, saying my IGO-L would ship within the next 12 hours and my SVD within the next 2 days. SVD still shows accepted on 9/3 (and has yet to move), while IGO-L was accepted on 9/4 and has arrived as a defective dud. I don't care if it's out of their control or not(the defective product they sent me certainly is), IMO it reflects bad on fasttech period. The fact remains that they have had my money since 8/26 and right now, on 9/18, i have NOTHING to show for it. NOTTA! As a paying customer i have every right to be pi**ed at them, and reserve the right to speak my mind just as all the fasttech homers speak theirs.

dead shorted would be my guess ... if there's a problem with the insulation around the center pin. OR perhaps bad threading (unable to thread on any devices)
Well, if you can tell me how to stop the negative post from just sitting there spinning when trying to tighten down the screw, i'm all ears.
I'm not trolling but learning, as this forum is for that reason. If Fasttech can't ship batteries the they shouldn't be selling them. The P.T Barum was in reference to them selling the Evod, which is not a Evod but a clone, hence the P.T. Barum.
Iit is an interesting way of trading off your stuff that you didn't like or don't want anymore, for other stuff you might like to try ... as long as you remember it's your junk for someone else's junk ... don't be expecting the newest and best. And there is a 20 dollar limit on what you are offering, and on what you can expect back in trade.

Shipment just showed up in San Franscisco. At least they will be steeped by the time they get to Tennessee.
You aren't really telling anyone anything they don't already know, but if it makes you feel better about your purchases then have at it.
In the meantime, I'm sitting here puffing on an evil FT purchased Evod clone right now and loving it. Well worth the $2.65 I paid as were the others I got with it. If we wanted to pay an extra $4 for a Kanger label then we would do just that.
I see so many people being so unpleasant to each other lately.
People come to vaping for many reasons and some of those reasons might well be financial. Just because I was paying $200 a month for cigs does not mean I still can. For some of us we had to quit because the choice became food or smokes. That simple. Vaping actually CAN reduce the costs to a manageable level if we are careful. So please stop letting fly blanket statements like "If you could afford to smoke you can afford anything you want vaping wise." It simply isn't true for some of us.
I shop at fasttech for gear because that is what I can afford. I would love to be able to go out and buy a REO + RM2 and call it done there. I just cannot do that right now. SO I economize by buying a mech and a RBA on fasttech which lets me stop shelling out for clearos, the heads for them, and ego batteries that never last me more than 4 months. What extra I have left in my budget goes in the REO savings jar.
I don't remember anyone asking for a handout in this thread. I do remember a new vaper being frustrated because their first order of real gear is being held up so long and someone else VOLUNTEERING to help out. Big difference between that and begging.
Take a deep breath and move on folks. If we were not looking for deals we wouldn't be in a fasttech thread to begin with.

On PIFs: Here where I live, it is nearly impossible to find anything vape-related. Thanks to FT, I have stuff that I can give my converted colleagues when there is an emergency.
Today was a case in point. The little 650 eGo of one of my colleagues died of old age, just before a major religious holiday when everything here is closed. I had one of my eGo-twists with me as a spare, so I could simply give it to her. I have others, since they're only about $12 and I'd bought a bunch over the summertime.
She's a great colleague and I know one of my packages coming has equipment for her. Having a source of reasonably-priced basic stuff is really reassuring for people just starting out - they know they don't have to go back to cigarettes because of a lack of equipment.
