Well then i guess you would lose your bet. Took them eight days to ship my order. On day seven they decided to split up my order, saying my IGO-L would ship within the next 12 hours and my SVD within the next 2 days. SVD still shows accepted on 9/3 (and has yet to move), while IGO-L was accepted on 9/4 and has arrived as a defective dud. I don't care if it's out of their control or not(the defective product they sent me certainly is), IMO it reflects bad on fasttech period. The fact remains that they have had my money since 8/26 and right now, on 9/18, i have NOTHING to show for it. NOTTA! As a paying customer i have every right to be pi**ed at them, and reserve the right to speak my mind just as all the fasttech homers speak theirs.

I suggest not using them again. Use a reliable local supplier where you know you will get your order in a few days.

I have them stashed all over the place. For less than the price of a pack of cancer sticks they are great little back ups.

Fill with 100% PG flavorless for the ultimate stealth vape.

no flavour just pure pg

anyway thanks for telling me where you got them! i was actually looking at the 1300mah fatboy battery from fasttech is that much bigger? i too like small ecigs but the battery i bought is very long! a really nice vape tho. ego c upgrade :) are cartos hard to use? they always seemed like a little bit of effort to me haha

I ordered a Vamo V3 from fasttech on 8/27. It's listed as "Acceptance" when I track the package. It took over a week from the time that I ordered it before it was listed like that. What exactly does that mean? Is there a chance that it will be returned to fasttech? I expected to have to wait, but Is three weeks excessive?

Lol i must admit i imagined it a bit bigger than it turned out to be... BUT i do like the little bugga... So much in fact that it now sits on top of my vamo... Looking absolutely ridiculous ofc...

Don't get me wrong, I love the mini. I almost exclusively drip now and it hasn't left my twist since I got it. I did end up buying an igo-l for my mech, but reach for the mini most times.

I wasn't thinking ecig here, but it's one of those little doodads that I would like to have around "just in case".
There are times that one needs a certain type of thingy to do something and think "jeez, i really could use a small brush for this..."
I'm going to get a couple packs of these to thrown in the tool drawer just for grins.

Did you buy the kit that included batteries, or just the mod by itself?

If you bought the kit, you might be in for a very long wait.

USPS only transports Lithium batteries by air if they are installed in the devices for which they were intended. If they are loose cells, they are transported via ground carrier and they are only allowed if they are clearly marked as containing Lithium batteries. There ain't no ground service between Hong Kong and San Fran.

I wouldn't be surprised if this battery shipping SNAFU isn't HK Post's doing, but USPS.

If you order batteries from RTD, they come via USPS ground. Same with any of the Amazon or Ebay dealers selling the Panasonic and IWR batteries.

Honestly, buying raw Lithium cells via stateside vendors is a better option than getting them from FastTech. I've bought numerous cells from authorized Panasonic distributors at prices only a few dollars above what's available on FT. I know those cells are the real deal and they're in my hands in 2-4 days rather than 2-4 weeks.

I got the Vamo kit that included the little 18350 batteries. As it turns out, those two boogers are unprotected ICR cells and are not suitable for use in any APV, whether it's a mech or regulated device.

I don't know exactly what it means, but I think it is just held up still.
My package from fasttech has been in"acceptance" stage since September 7th via USPS. I'm not too worried about it getting here, but I do wish it could be faster.
If will influence whether I purchase from China again. I know it isn't fasttech's fault, and they actually shipped the items faster than the ota on some items I ordered, but until the shipping situation is fixed,i will be ordering elsewhere.

With the money I saved I upped my 401k contribution.

See, you should have bought zero coupon tax free municipal bonds. 401k investments are made based on the assumption that by the time you start making withdrawals, you'll be paying a lower marginal tax rate. They are tax deferred.

Anybody wanna bet on taxes in the USA being the same or lower when you reach the magic age of 59?

The interest on munis is tax free. ;)

And, to stay on topic, I am glad that my most recent FastTech order made it out of Hong Kong before HK Post decided to get persnickety about batteries and... what was that word they used? "perfumery."

Now that's really bad math. You saved money over buying cigarettes and instead of buying $20 of Big Macs now you'll be buying a $40 Big Mac in the future :D

Ha! :) Then again who knows what the market will do. Hopefully it is all timed right when I finally retire.

I hate McDonald's with a passion. I cringe every time my kid's want to go there and try to talk them into some other place. Usually I get a large cup of coffee and an apple pie thingie. I watch my kids scarf through something that vaguely looks like fried chicken.

Hopefully there will be a clone BigMac by then and maybe fasttech will be selling it! :toast:

Ahhh but maybe I am contributing to a Roth 401k. :) I have both. But I don't trust the feds to keep their paws off the Roth. I figure be diversified.

Only at the federal level. Unless you enjoy living in a state without an individual tax rate or it is a muni of that state. Not sure if IL follows that logic though.

If anything.. it is evil to be rich in the US. They will determine who is rich and then tax them/us more.

My guess is HK post will ease up once a stink starts arising.

Can I ask why people feel the need to "keep up"? If you can't afford it you can't afford it. Stop looking for a handout. If you want a provari well then save your pennies and buy one a instead of the cheap mechanicals. I really don't understand why people on a limited income keep complaining about how they can't afford to have this device or this atty. well seems pretty simple to me... Either save the money you were going to spend on an ego battery and a few clears and get one... Or don't complain.

Y'know, after lots of frustration and fighting it off for a long time (I hate hype), I finally came to terms that the Prothingy might be the only thing Susazproof. But they don't ship to my location, so I'll have to pay more than twice (220 euro) to have it sent from Spain. I'm still thinking, I could buy at least 5 PVs for the price of that prothinghy...
