I'm looking to get another cheap (but good) beater mod from FastTech. I'm looking for reliability and rugged durability. These are are the 2 I am currently looking at: The Sentinel M16 and the Private V2. Anybody have any stories on them good or bad? This will be mainly for work where I use and abuse them. I want something that if dropped or otherwise used and abused can still be counted on. Just don't want to waste the money (or the extended time waiting on them) if it's well known by the experts on here that they aren't good ones. Thanks for any help.

I've got the Sentinel and the threads are not so great. Read the reviews, you'll find out more... reviews on Fasttech and reviews on ECF, just search SENTINEL. To be clear, I like the Sentinel, use it daily, but the threads are poor quality and my topper is going to stay on it forevermore as I've already got a mate that scrapped them when changing up toppers.
Yes, you are enjoying a clone or a fake of the real thing. You paid $2.65 for a fake and I paid $20.00 for a 5 pack of the real Evods. If mine arrived damaged I could return them. Can you? There are more then 750 pages here and about 200 of them are horror stories. The fact is the evil Evod clone you are vaping was advertised as a Evod. Some truth in advertising would be nice.

anyway thanks for telling me where you got them! i was actually looking at the 1300mah fatboy battery from fasttech is that much bigger? i too like small ecigs but the battery i bought is very long! a really nice vape tho. ego c upgradeare cartos hard to use? they always seemed like a little bit of effort to me haha
Un-flavored juice doesn't taste to bad. Just a little bitter. At 100% PG you get the least amount of vapor thus the stealth.
A 1300mah is the largest battery you can get and the mini me is the smallest battery you can get so yes, there is quite a bit of difference in the two. If you look at the FT descriptions, it will tell you the length of the device. The mini me is 6cm and the 450 is 6.2cm the 1300 fatty is 8.7 cm. Carto's are the most simple device to use but they don't have all that much vape time as they hold around 1ml. This set up isn't ideal for as a primary device for most people. It is more a back up or stealth rig. Most people need a battery with more vape time (and therefore bigger). I know an e-cegg feels odd in your hand because of it's size but you do get used to it. That being said, I find myself grabbing a 650 twist most times when I'm headed out the door for less than 4 hours do to it's smaller size. Longer than that I grab the MVP.

Thank you. Well keeping in mind my criteria what mech mods do they have that you would recommend? Aside from the K100, I already have one of those. It has to be a mech though for work. Anything fancier might make people nervous when I go through security screening at work

If you get the all brass Sentinel clone there's nothing wrong with the threads. It's the aluminum version that has threading issues. I have the Sentinal V3, (same as the M16 I think, but different look) and it's a beast. Heavy and solid, I would worry more about my toes than the mech if I dropped it.

They may freely use terms like Protank, Evod, etc, but unless you see the BRAND, it's probably not genuine.
Ugh this Hong Kong Post delay is killing me. I have a few orders from fasttech stuck at "arrival" for over a week already. But thanks to this delay, I decided to purchase me a shiny new provari and couldn't be more happy I do wish my packages could hurry up though as it's money spent. If this keeps up much longer I will have to try to pursue a refund.

You'll probably want to wait for more to comment, but I've got a TVS and it's as sturdy as can be. Heavy, a nice heavy hitter - like my Silver Bullet as far as I am concerned, the button is recessed INSIDE the tube, so you have to put a fingertip in to get it to fire - I thought I'd hate that, but I LOVE it... This may be 100% correct, my Sentinel was this one http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10005307/1427800-sentinel-m16-mod-telescoping-e-cigarette-battery and I agree about the toes, they are as heavy as can be.

The solid brass one (27.77) can be used with 3 different batt sizes. I would get it, which I did, or the SS version, which I did, if I were going to get a FT Chi. The cheaper ones are plated brass.....ugh! I wouldn't say the one listed as sold out was the best option just because of the price. I think they just had issues with the supplier when they were trying to offer it. If both SA versions were available, I would still choose the $27 one.
I don't blame you, I would do the same if I had no patience.
Hopefully they figure something out soon with the whole HK Post issues they are facing over there. Love the deals you get ordering from fasttech but the shipping can be problematic at times.
