One 650 twist I received a few days ago the button jammed in the first time out. The second one I recieved today, the button came pre-messed up and does not work at all. These are the same batteries that were completely different from what I had re-ordered from a previous purchase. Exact same sku yet they sent me completely different batteries. Looks like I'm going to have to order something local because it could be weeks before they even answer a ticket and then who knows how long after that. These were back ups so it isn't critical but still, we all know about the need for backups.

I just keep getting more and more frustrated with these folks.

Edit* Funky, I think you got some of these, have you had problems with the button?

Well look who's calling the kettle black. You did save a lot of money though.

I think I'll want to add a drop of low or medium locktite to the tube/head & tube/switch assemblies so that they don't come undone when changing batteries. Aside from that, and possibly another dab of locktite to help keep the switch button / negative pin together (and at the proper spacing), this thing is ready to go!

Take caution with the locktite. I put some on the switch, same as you want to do but had nothing but problems after that. Loctite is not conductive, so it insulated the two parts of the switch. Getting it back apart and cleaning all the dried Loctite off was a pain. You may have better luck though. Since its brass, you may be able to just nick one thread, which will make it tighter to thread on.

Theres no problem with eGo batteries. I think the main issue they have is with loose cells.

No ALL Li Ion batteries or anything that contains Li Ion batteries are NO LONGER SHIPPED AIRMAIL (thru a plane anymore) when the "international" rules changed (wasn't Chinese decision..they were TOLD the rules changed!) after a few planes caught fire (2 pilots died) they changed the rules, any Li Ion in the system STOPPED [I guess maybe if they can't redily identify "hey that's a battery *bzzzzzt* kick it back then it might go thru], they started x-raying packages and kicking them back (not just FT but ALL cheap Chinese trinket websites!!!) fasttech IMMEDIATELY started taking kicked back packages and shipping them HK post to a slow boat, around that time...things went from bad to worse!

They are routed thru Hong Kong ground...to a slow boat...non 'splody 'splody items can go airmail, flown over the pacific to CA in a day...the slow boat takes approx 14 days

My shipment is now moving
510-X 400mAh Rechargeable Battery for Electronic Cigarette (Black)
510-X, 400mAh, Black / SKU: 1401204

510-T E-Cigarette Refill Cartridges (5-Pack / 1.0mL)
Marlboro Flavor, 11mg/ml Nicotine / SKU: 1436410

EGO 510-T Electronic Cigarettes Flat Mouth Atomizer with Refill
510-T, Black / SKU: 1325010

510-T Flat Mouth Electronic Cigarette Cartridge (1mL)
510-T, 1mL, Flat, Translucent / SKU: 1333801

The above due to a "battery" got slow boated...

Either it hasn't updated thru USPS.com or it's going slowboat
Delivery status information is not available for your item via this web site. A return receipt after mailing may be available through your local Post Office.

No worries...packages ARE now showing movement...well until Oct 1-7 when they will be having a national holiday...China has had a string of "OH CRAPS!!!" happen over the last month...two national holidays and the LARGEST typhoon recorded this year...with all the hub bub over there...they deserve a bit of a break

Batteries..expect 2 weeks longer than non battery shipping...NORMAL expected times [without holidays or typhoons] has been around 2 weeks...so battery packages...expect a month, packages that don't have batteries 2ish weeks, all part of the game of skipping the "reseller" markups (vast majority of e-cig related products are produced and shipped from China)

RECOMMENDATION: when ordering stuff...make sure you order all NON-battery related stuff, then order your batteries in a separate transaction (which means separate package)

After the rules changed..FT will no longer even attempt to send packages with batteries to the airmail center...they IMMEDIATELY send em HK post to the slow boat, there is ALOT of stuff awaiting x-ray so the stuff ordered before the change is probably sitting in a HUGE pile somewhere and being scanned ONE AT A TIME...so anything ordered before the change..expect a week or two of just sitting...waiting to get kicked back and re-routed

...and just like that, it's been delivered!
:)

If you're on the fence about ordering one of the M16s in brass, and can afford to wait for it, GET OVER THAT FENCE! This thing is great! Granted, it's my first mech, but the build quality is rock solid (much better than I expected it to be), and the parts appear to be pretty well machined.

The 510 connector is spring loaded with a floating battery connection post. To use it, loosen up the battery, tighten down your atty, and then tighten the battery tube.

Alas, I'm betting the batteries and everything else will be rejected or take a really long time to get here. That's OK with me though; those folks have some big problems on their plate right now. I hope those injury and fatality numbers don't get any higher.

NO LOCTITE!!!!!
No anything that can disrupt conductivity
CLEAN Metal to metal contact points only!!!!

Yea, had a big problem. Ordered july 31st, it shipped august 8 and it got to me today. The kicker? Had to pay $35.65 in fees from Customs. US customs. Think I'm done with FT. Not their fault though

Vapira

Wow that really sucks!

What was your actual total order and what value did they put on the package?

Also what customs did it go through?

How much did you order....over $200 worth of items? With large item shipping there is a surcharge that they aren't responsible for...this is why I order onesies and twosies and try to keep orders from getting too big...US gubby gotta get "their cut" ya know :\

No problems at all. I tested all of them prior to putting them in the kits, charged them and tested with an iclear 16. All of them worked great. The only thing I see that I don't like is that the knob is a lot harder to turn than the other ones.. but it is about twice as thick so it's a little easier to get ahold of. Less concern about it moving unintentionally I guess is how I'll take it

You don't even make sense. Pull your head out and try to act like an adult.

Just use the ignore function. Trust me, It'll keep you out of trouble and everyone from turning on you. I've been on ECF since 2009 and only have 2 people on my ignore list. One from an incident a few weeks ago and one from yesterday. It's actually quite a nice feature.
For all I know they are still insulting me, but I just don't care now.... hehe.
Try it, you'll like it!

Huh. That's a pretty darned good point. Thanks for saving me the trouble! (And it seemed like such a good idea. I should know better: when it's that good of an idea and that easy in one, there's usually something I'm missing )

The tube ends to the tube body will hold well enough, but that switch is going to take some work. I'll give that one some thought over the next day or two while I use it as-is.

HK Post: Delay In Outbound Air Mail Services (10 Sep 2013) **Updated on 9/22/2013**: FastTech Forums

Sorry but a lot of that information is just incorrect. Ego are getting through. I got one from FT today. They are sending out juices as well. Every cell phone in the world has a li ion in it every Lap top, etc. They aren't going to stop all of these devices being shipped. The main concern apears to be loose cells. Also, these restriction have been in place for a long time. No one was enforcing them before.

Your package that says shipped but hasn't showed up on USPS will show in 24-48 hours. That is normal.

Well, I received my $42 order this afternoon.

Ordered on the 7th, received today, the 23rd, so all in all not so bad considering all the issues. 13 business days.

A few i16s, Pyrex tanks, more chargers and a 510/Ego adapter. Have some Juicy Peach too that I'm vaping now. Nice!!

Also a 900mah Ego that has a red/blue light at the top and battery indicator at the bottom side. Very sleek looking.

Very satisfied, and will order again, but not till after our Holidays, but I have the right to change my mind.
