Then I must be an exception since this order was a 1300mAH eGo kit and 3 juices. Came out of their hands in less than a week.

Even if it's only 1 in 5 that're getting stopped, is that worth the risk? I wouldn't recommend it, and I love me some FT. To me a recommendation has to include confidence in the supplier's ability to deliver.
I don't want to start an internet ...... contest but YOU need to read the last 100 pages. You will see that most fixed batteries are getting through. As far as I have read reported, a package containing a fixed battery has no more chance of getting kicked backed as a package without any batteries at all.
Yes to the slow boat option.
I still think shipped in a case or in a device they are legal, but it really doesn't matter what I think. Only what the HK postal inspector thinks.
I'm not just going off of ECF but the FT forums as well. Basically at this point it's a turkey shoot. Yes, some may be getting through, but like I just said above the risk isn't worth it to me. I won't recommend something unless I'm sure the person is going to get it in a relatively (this being China) reasonable amount of time and without hassles. I'm not saying it's 100% that your order won't get through, I'm saying it's foolish to make these recommendations when there's a known issue occurring right now. This isn't 2010, we've got options other than risking FDA/HKP interdiction.
