I've just replaced the wick on mine, piqued by curiosity to see if I could do it. No problem. I used a pre-made wick from FT, and one of the supplied replacement coils as a model. The little wires go through the clips, then you make sure the notched ends of the clips are holding the wick securely, then you simply push the clips onto the posts and trim the protruding ends of the wires. I did it!!!

Works a treat and dead easy, even for a little old lady.:)

but with a thicker gauge wire it gets little bit difficult for me:)

if you plan on splitting packages make sure you time them out according to the "Stock: Ships in x days" that usually shows to the left of the buy button... if you dont they will just bundle them together.

stuff i ordered early last week and should be here sometime late this week.

Wow. That's a pretty optimistic forecast. My order from 10/08 still has not been acknowledged by Hong Kong Post. Everything was listed as being "In Stock". It took 4 days for FastTech to get the order out the door. It's been 9 days since it left FastTech's loading dock and the tracking system shows no trace of the package.

Got my nemesis clone on Friday and was able to mess around with it on Sunday. About 3/4 the length of my svd with the smok kick in it. Nice little mod. Unfortunately I think the messed up drilling the atty thread. Very hit and miss with different tank that I put on it. Some screw in nicely. Others just push in and wobble around and yet others are coked going in until it seats on the airflow. Not entirely disappointed but for 30 bucks expected better.

I do like the bottom button. I have a SVD, spinners and volts, so the bottom button is a first. With large hands though in 350 mode, I have a habit of covering up the airholes on controller.

The smok kick went into it nicely and does a nice little job. I missed the ability to adjust the wattage though as I vape. I wasn't sure if the kick had all the protections on it. It did shut off when the battery got to 3.43 v which was nice. As expected the 350s lasted a bit longer in the mech than it did in the SVD.

Little bummed after the reviews to get a half of a lemon. Thinking of getting a 510-510 shorty or an airflow adapter to see if it fixes the atty threads. Or maybe I will pull out some re-runs of MacGyver and work some magic. First bad one from Fasttech in 5 orders. Not too bad.

Think for a minute about what you described.
Not likely the Nemesis is changing sizes so obviously it is the poor standards used for the top devices that is causing misfit.
i.e. I have a (new) Smok Vivi that will screw into a 510 and pull out. Threads look fine, just undersized and worthless:glare:

Grab the best Branded device you have and see how it fits in comparison to others.
Save the cheap tanks for cheap batteries and prevent thread damage.

I don't think it's necessarily a lemon...
There is one flaw in the Nemesis, I don't know if the real Nemesis is the same or not but...
If you look, the 510 threading is tapped on that thin plate. the actual threads only go about 1/8 or at best, 3/16 inch deep, then open nothingness. Some attachments (such as cartomizers particularly) also have a small threaded area. What I notice ends up happening is if you screw the device all the way down, the cartomizer actually threads past the lowest point and is then just flopping around in there, help mostly only by the 510 center pin. The only way around it is to use a washer or something between the mod and the tank to keep it from threading so far into the mod head.
I do wish they had put a little more thought into that part of it.

Yes, thought about that too. Thought it may be the variations in the atty threads. They however all work fine on my various spinners and svd. I guess I should have typed that in as well. Same tanks I have been using for 6 months or so.

Yeah screwing them on I was worried that I would damage the threads. Then I figured it was cheap enough to use as a "tester". Considering I went up to OSU and dropped 30 bucks on two dogs and two diet cokes. :)

Yes noticed that as well. Very thin layer of threads for the atty. Forget about my boges fitting. Maybe it just the design. Just strange that no one had posted anything about it. The other thing is the atty pin. It looks like it thread into a rubbery/delirium piece.

It works wonderfully once I get it threaded.

Leads me to think this is designed with Genny style tanks and drippers in mind.(fully threaded) Air flow controller should work. Only problem is they are only 19mm:glare:

Yes. I thought that as well with the gennys. I am not sure I want to get into those. I like the simplistic nature of the mech.

hmmmm... The only thing worried about the air controller is that it won't thread.

I still find it strange. The smok mega cart really threads nicely along with vivas. A 510-510 would raise it up a bit much for aesthetics, but then I use my spinner without the ego ring and a tank on top. I could prolly get a washer or something that would hide it.

Just remembered I do have some 510-ego adapters. Will have to try those when I get home, if I can find them. grrrr

sigh,,,,I give up on my August 29th order :( I'm going to ask for a refund/resend.

I'm sorry you haven't received your order, but I'm glad that you decided to ask for a refund or a resend.

This has been a real downer for you, and I'm sorry about that.

Wouldn't be a hoot though, if your order shows up, and FT decided to send you a replacement too?!.........that's what they should do, really, even if it were a shipping problem and not theirs.

Even if you did, you are right around the corner from their US returns center -Florida.:)

*I'd wait a month, just on principal*

I would gladly do that if it were FT's fault  but I don't think it is,,,,,,,,I do think they have been overwhelmed,,,,,,kind of hard not to be though.

Who knows anymore?

Just got notice of my latest order being split!
This is 4 of 6 order in the last few months that has been split. Last 3 the missing piece supposedly arrived........the next day.
Now I have 4 order to be concerned with, just sitting.

Also realized I've spent 6months+ budget in the past 30 days. Think it's time for a wake up call. More important things need my attention.
