Got my September 7th order today.... Woo Hoo

Congratulations! On an unrelated note, the Katana EVOD Starter Kits I got from vape Dojo come with the e-cig charger you were hunting for a couple weeks ago. If I ever get around to ordering those 510-X batteries I'll be all set.

day 21..

I wake up. Walk to my computer. I log in to see if there has been any progress on my ithaka clone. Nothing yet..

day 25..

I am getting restless. I can't sleep. I'm starting to lose hair. I can't see clearly. Everything is blurry. Very blurry. Wait. Are my eyes playing tricks on me? Is that a tracking number next to my ithaka order? It can't be. I mean, it's just impossible. The average wait time for an ithaka was at least 4 years. It's only been 25 days since i placed my order. I click on the tracking number. It's real! It's really happening! It's entered the foggy tunnels of the hong kong post! Now, the 2nd battle awaits me...

i guess im one of the lucky ones...to an extent.

I ordered 2 packages during 10/3 and 10/6

One package was singapore post, the other was HKPost.

The Hkpost one shipped out 10/14 and just arrived in SF this morning, should be here in 2-3 days I think.

The singapore post one shipped 10/4 and sat in limbo until 10/20 where magically the tracking update changed to "despatched to overseas". It has been like this for the past week though, so im not sure what to make of it.

I was a bit irked that i chose Singapore post initially because one of the forum moderators over at fasttech recommended to use singapore post to bypass custom delays. So I did that. Headache only followed. My package that shipped 10/4 was returned 10/8 and 10/11. Fasttech resent it through singapore post TWO times. Im not understanding why they didnt just re-send it HKpost. The other thing is, they never told me it was returned, TWICE. So from the time of 10/4 to 10/20 I had no information. They only told me it was returned after the tracking finally updated 16 days later....coincidence?

At their prices though, I can hardly complain and I dont think its completely fair to put fault on fasttech. The mail carriers over in hong kong really need to get their stuff together.

I lived in hong kong and china for a few years and their ethic of work and business principles are extremely different than here in the states. I am chinese myself and my parents tell me when you do business with chinese, be prepared to be lied to.

Yep I found them, ordered 3, work ok. Thanks for the info though. The 510-X is not bad for an out-and-about, just cant find a tank with a replaceable/rebuild-able atty, but they don't cost a lot, and I don't use them a lot, so it is all good.

I made three purchases all within about a week or two. First two came through in their normal time frame. Third one has sat at status "Fully shipped" but under tracking: "Origin post is preparing shipping" since Oct 3rd. I put in a ticket a week ago asking-no response in 3 days, then I added a note and it now still sitting with no response. Usually they get back to us faster than this! ARGH!

Yea, don't add notes to your tickets. They play this freggin game with the 3 day rule.
If you open a ticket, then add a note to it 73 hours later, they will start the 3 day timer all over again. It really torques me off how they play games with that.
I also suggest you cut straight to the point in the tickets or you will be playing the 3 day game for a week before you finally get to the point with them.
For instance: "Please tell me when my item will ship or I will have no choice but to cancel the order on XX date and asking for a refund.

All of my tickets also begin with a standard "please read my entire question and do not give me a pre-prepared answer or I will cancel the order and ask for a refund immediately"
If you don't go straight for the throat, they will answer you with some canned, often unrelated answer to buy themselves 3 more days. It's unfortunate that you have to deal with it in the manner, but they bring it upon themselves because of the way they do the ticket system.
I really like FastTech as I understand what I am dealing with and I truly believe they are an honest company, but their customer service and the way they handle tickets is downright infuriating at times.

Be reasonable, in many cases, they are waiting for a supplier to deliver items and that supplier is usually the one who missed a promise date. The problem is, FastTech doesn't like to admit it. For online retailers, the fastest way to lose a sale is to be out of stock. People are a mere 15 seconds away from their competitor and they know it.
