aw rats. The Ultrafire 18650s I ordered from fasttech arrived yesterday but they don't work in my vamo. So I go online and the consensus is they don't work in Vamos because they're protected. What do I do with them? In any case, I'll go to my B&M to get new ones now.
Just got this update today on my swiss post orderwhat about the swiss post package?
my swiss package is in transit for past 10 days from singapore to india![]()
Ok, I just placed this order for six of these
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1450301
For a total of twelve batteries (plus 6 handy dandy carry cases), the cost was 28.44 with quantity discount. The shipping cost was 21.00. A total of 49.44 bucks shipped. That makes the cost of the batteries 4.12 bucks each. They are scheduled to ship tomorrow via speed post global express. This works out cheaper than anything I can find state side (IMR) WITHOUT a case, and I'd still pay shipping. Maybe I can get them faster state side, but this shipping option SAYS 4 to 9 days. Fair enough. I'm all in lol
I know some will flame me for the dreaded 'fire' named batteries, but honestly I have been using these for the past couple of months with no issues. They last great, IMR chemistry, and the six I have in rotation now all have charged to 4.1v consistently without getting even warm. I own aw, and efest too. I honestly can't tell any difference between them except for the physical dimensions. It may be a little premature to judge these, but I'm confident in them for now.
Anyway, part of me wanted to get them for my Daughter and her Hubby (he's a good guy, and takes care of my Baby). Four for her, four for him, and four MORE for me!. The other part was to just see how this goes. I'll post results for any/all interested.
Well, I'm getting ready to find out. For now, it says "ready to ship". I will post updates as I get themso has anyone express shipped batteries yet? how long does it take?
Hang on to em...buy a 18650 Cree flashlight!aw rats. The Ultrafire 18650s I ordered from fasttech arrived yesterday but they don't work in my vamo. Just received this mail this morning smh can't seem to get a break from fast tech... My sister & brother-in-law can order anything from fasttech and not have ANY problems, they usually get 8 day shipping I get 32 days for a SVD, registered mail, new tracking numbers, this just blows...
I have 2 other orders that they would only send registered, couldn't choose USPS method no matter if I used the computer or iPad 3 orders now $134
Oh well...
Dear ********
RE: New tracking number for order **********.
Thank you for your order placed at FastTech.
Because of the unstable processing of Hong Kong Post. We've swapped the US orders from Hong Kong Post to Singapore Post for a few days ago.
But we've noticed that there is two big problems with this service provided by Singapore Post. The main one is the tracking numbers in their system are all mixed up, they gave the tracking numbers which are already used to us. We've checked the tracking information of all orders we shipped during the past few days, there is at least 50% of the orders are shipped with the used tracking number which already shown delivered / Transporting on the tracking site.
You can read more details here:
http://www.fasttech.com/forums/orde...acking-problem-of-the-us-orders-shipped-via/1
We've got the package back and swapped it to Hong Kong Post USPS service. Here is the new tracking number:**********. Your new tracking link is:********************
Please be assured that your package is on its way to you now. If you have questions, please feel free to reply to this e-mail.
Thank you.

My email to fasttech
Dear Fasttech,
I am very upset with this morning's email I received. I have 3 items that may be in transit as I write this mail.
Order Numbers 1, 2, 3 they total over $100
Order 1this morning you reshipped?!? First shipping information 16-11 now 20-11?!?
Order 2 shipped on 4-11- 16 days shipping as of today's date
Order 3 shipped on 4-11- 16 days shipping as of today's date
I have spent $483.02 since August with your company to date. I have received long shipping times, 2 orders took 32 days to ship to my home, many orders re-routed, no USPS shipping method allowed, had to send mail registered no choice!
This is NOT good business!
My family also shops at your website and they have ordered many times, they spend lots of $$$$ with you and they get most their items USPS NOT REGISTERED in 8 days!
I ordered yet again because I thought I would give your company another chance... This morning I received an email informing me yet again you changed my shipping method and now I have to wait until... Well, who knows when I'll get this order?!?
I know my $483.02 isn't much to your company, but to me it is very hard to save my very hard earned money to make these orders. I feel like I've been treated very badly.
Thought you should know how I feel... I will be thinking longer and looking for an American company first next time before I order again...
I will be on the lookout for a US company instead of fasttech. I'll buy less and get US shipping... Smh...

so far it has taken 17 days. If ICS (customs) doesn't keep it long, it will be here in a few days
Now for a little story on why I recommend you get a Cree flashlight on the cheap
I got 3 of these super cheapo 14500 (AA sized) flashlights (not from FT) for $3.60
SODIAL(TM) 7w 300lm Mini Cree Led Flashlight Torch Adjustable Focus Zoom Light Lamp - Amazon.com (the ones from FT were like 3x as much! https://www.fasttech.com/product/1174500)

Anyone find the glass tanks that fit for these

Most glass shops consider this a 'specialty' item (glass tubing), and most wouldn't stock it. Even if the shop could get it, the time for fabrication, ordering, etc. would probably be cost prohibitive. It may still be worth asking though.I would think you could measure the diameter and length and go to a glass shop and have a few glass tubes cut and the edges polished fairly cheap. Lord knows I have had glass cur for other things and it never cost me much.
Ibtanked will make most any size if you have the dimensions.
