I ordered a genesis rebuildable.

I put alot of other stuff in shopping cart but I havent actually ordered them yet; I'm waiting for this first order first as a test; besides fasttech I have to see what happens with customs and local postage/handling. Been week number 1 so far.

fasttech SUCKS. Cheaper than local? NOT ALWAYS. FAST SHIPPING? HELL NO and NO, I didn't order batteries. I got sucked into fasttech by one of the site promoting how fast their shipping time was. sigh.....

all you have to do is look on ecf for 1 day and you know fasttec is slowtec

everything is a give and take in any business

you want cheep you have to give somewhere

I expect 3-6 weeks when I order from FT out the gate

my chiyu clone was 5 weeks but it was less then $30
I also got 3 Igo-l with that order less then $8 each

If I had problem with provari, I would. You don't like my experience with Fasttech, DON'T READ IT or read it and MOVE ON. Don't tell me about the manner, just mind your own.

If your problem with provari was the price then you would be wrong

Likewise if your problem with FT is slow shipping you are wrong

11/18 order has 0 progress minus a shipping number. It was shipped on 11/20

11/19 order leaves HK tomorrow. Shipped 11/21.

Still to early to worry about my first order, but it doesn't look good.

With that said, all 10 of my previous orders dating all the way back to May have gotten delivered in under 14 days and over half were 10 days or less. Minus the Sept issues @ ft, that shipment took a bit over a month.

Just my .02 for any ft newbs that are reading this.

I've gotten 3 of my orders within 2 weeks.
my last order of 3 clearos on 17track says null being returned to shipper.
don't know why.

so for newbies check 17track!

don't know why this one is being sent back, but i can't blame that on fast tech. it's totally hk post they are the bad guy here.

also, when i had a battery go haywire fast tech refunded partial credit even though i had thrown out the battery!
who else does that?

i say they do the best they can.

i order a lot from china, thru amazon and ebay it usually takes 6 weeks or more! so i think fast tech does pretty good.
but i guess if you aren't familiar with shipping from china you may not undestand the process.

where is that pic of the slow boats? it's here somewhere.

Changing the subject away from shipping for a moment.

Anyone know which, if any, mechanical mods Fastech sells that will accept a kick AND an 18650 battery?

Back to shipping.

I ordered a bunch of stuff on October 15th, part of it shipped and was received November 5th, the rest has been in Hong Kong since November 2nd. No batteries, just some Mini Novas (got some in the first shipment, they suck.).

Yea that is close. Might order a couple and see. Really would like something a little more shiny/smooth looking. Probably won't find anything else though. I wish the tip that came with the MVP2 would work. I'm just used to the Kanger coils and plan on starting to rebuild them or I would try to switch over to the iclear 30s. I'm just to new and the kanger coils is the only thing my family uses. We have evod, protank 2 and mini 2 tanks in the family and would hate to have to buy another brand of replacement coils.

You wont get longer battery life stacking batteries in series like that. You will simply get a higher voltage

Thanks but I prefer regulating down rather than boosting up so I run pairs of 350's. I'm pretty sure a couple of 490's would last longer. I think I can go that far but 2x650 seems beyond the pale to me. Still wondering if someone has enough Vamo parts and some 490's they can throw together and tell me if it's a good fit.

It's just a shop, if you find something cheaper locally, just buy it there, that's what I do, no need to get all emo about it.

It is a shop based in China so it will never be as fast as buying locally. If you had done any minimal research on them before you purchased you would have realised this.

If you want something fast then pay the premium and buy locally.

Do FT suck? Not for me. I just saved $60 buying my VTR there and received it in 3 weeks.

:) Major vapemail!:)

My VTR arrived this morning, all beautiful, shiny, authentic and happy, along with 2 other packages, orders from just before it...17 days, in case anyone is obsessing, via SGP, like all my stuff...held captive in Customs here for a while, just to get acclimatized...

Happy little old lady. :vapor:

The VTR is my present to myself for Hannukka and 6 months of quitting smoking. Also arrived, a bit overshadowed by the VTR: an Innokin UCan (for 5 months off cigarettes), a generic mini-PT (which is very nice looking), an Ohms meter, about 60 pre-made wicks (I'm lazy and they work well), a multi-coloured drip tip just for fun, and lots of Hangsen Juicy Peach, Liqua Apple and Dekang Raspberry. Plus supplies for 4 colleagues.

The mirror-grey VTR is gorgeous. A really impressive piece of Secessionist industrial design. The styling reminds me of the 1920s silent film, Metropolis.

It is heavy - about the weight of my 2 MVPs together, and in comparison the SVD is a featherweight - but it fits my hand comfortably and is incredibly easy to set up and get working. Easier, I think, than the SVD, but that's just me. Am using the GS-H5 with it and the special tube - yesssssss. The screen is relatively large and very easy to read. The power button is nicely responsive - somewhere between the MVP1 and MVP 2. Haven't tried the iClear 30s yet.

Uh, did I say I was happy?

I know waiting is an exercise in patience, but for me, it definitely pays off. I'm always slightly apprehensive about our Customs, but so far they haven't seized any of my purchases. I hope this coming week brings everyone lots of good things!:)
