karavela clone on FT. looks good overall but the switch and the bottom part in general got me worried. what is preventing it from firing if the bottom insulation of the battery gets damaged. if the original karavela switch is like this i see a big design flaw there

yeee just checked the vela original switch is the same as this one. big design flaw there. good luck making it work with panasonic CGR type bateries with no bottom insulator

All mine have also gone through- except the MVP. But thanks for mentioning 101 Vapes, whoever you were (too lazy to go back), I ordered another color from them and will either have two, or give one as a Christmas present- that was a good price! Better than FT! If the FT order does ever get out of Hong Kong.

Same as Chi You. That's what vinyl is for. I have heard that the Caravela switch has been hard to replicate. Why is that, exactly?

moding the batteries for the high end, very hard to find and very expensive mod. hmmmm

cause ppl need to have a reason to justify it's ridiculous price and unavailability. also didn't you hear that the making of that switch might have involved some long lost miraculous craftsmanship and perhaps the presence of various ancient gods

I just handed Fasttech their ... in a fed up email I sent them this morning. They had sent me a terribly obvious refurbished 1300mAh VV ego over 3 weeks ago. I had sent it back to get the "new" replacement that I ordered and it's just now showing that the tracking number for the replacement is valid. So 3 weeks after they took my money I still don't have the eGo I ordered. Hate Fasttech. Here's the email.

This whole process has been a ridiculous hassle. First you send me a battery that you refurbished trying to sell it as new. You knew it was refurbished so why did you send it to me? Then you can't even get me a replacement in a timely manner. It's been 3 weeks since I sent you your terribly refurbished battery back and I still don't have a replacement. This is unbelievable. You need to get your quality control and shipping issues straight before taking people's money. You have had my money for over 3 weeks yet I don't have the new battery I ordered. Good job.

I have the segelei 8w clone of this. The clone here does't have an insulator like mine

One could make an insulator, I would think, by using a plastic tube or plumbing pipe?

PS: lisa musta sang FT a song for this one! LOL
