For what it's worth: fasttech just refunded me for one of the four orders that I placed about a month ago. No tracking on any of them..... I guess this one was returned to them, and refunded to me. I didn't have to wait 8 weeks, and I didn't make any kind of big fuss. I was hoping it would show up in my mailbox, but at least now I know. The suspense continues with the other 3 orders.

The only mod needed with an AW, MNKE, etc. battery is to insert it into the tube.......hmmm
yes, it should be ok for most batts. I like the extra insurance of the insulator on mine. Could be an easy 'fix' if one wanted to.

the 14 both where dispatched overseas
and today the order with just the driptip has made trough customs here (now that's irony!! )

Yes. It could be a very easy fix if someone wanted an insulator. You could do it with even a properly sized spacer or oring without even needing to glue or grind anything.
I guess it is better to split everything it is easier to pass a small package trought inspections, they tend to always open big ones and if you go overboard you could end up paying import fees
Depending on the size i'll usually split an order up in increments of $15. I like to ship a couple items I don't care much about with a battery so that it's not just a battery inside. Some people will ship just a battery, I don't think it really matters.
It helps if you blow on the dice and holler "baby needs new shoes!"

I ordered my package in the begining of november, right after that whole jazz w/the hong kong post nightmare. I knew I was taking a risk, so I didnt order anything I *really* desperately needed or anything pricey ... just a casual shipment of a new Iclear w/2 coils, a 5 pack of genuine kanger evod coils, a larger lanyard, and finally .. a larger sized ego case.
I just got it a few minutes ago, so it took abt 3 weeks. Not too bad. Longer than normal but faster than a lot of you. I'm not sure if the company was trying to save space or if they were trying to conceal as much as possible, but they sent everything inside the ego case and just wrapped the case in reg shipping packaging. So are things still pretty shady right now? I really have NO idea whatsoever where I can buy coils for anywhere NEAR that price.

Has anybody who ordered a Kraken atomizer in the last few days seen any movement on their orders? I know it said ships out in 7 days or somethin like that...just trying to see if anybody's gotten to that point yet. It's a christmas present for myself so no rush lol

The new good attys have I think been heavily oversubscribed, there will be some catch up time for the manufacturers I think before they get shipped. FT do ship in chronological order of order receipt.
