I feel kind of bummed. My order arrived in the U.S. in record time, got scanned in Cali, left the sort facility in Los Angeles on the 11th, and is now lost in limbo. Hasn't been scanned since.

China post ePacket. Order placed 12/28, (waited for backordered item) shipped 01/08, arrived in U.S. on 01/11. USPS dropping the ball.

China Post ePacket is the way to go right now.

So far, after placing orders every month for a year and a half my experience has been hit or miss. I'm in Boston. LA Customs has been waaaay faster than JFK Customs. HK USPS has been the fastest with one order taking 6 working days. E Packet comes in second, followed by Singapore. Swiss Post has been the slowest. I put all my tracking numbers on the USPS tracking. That way you can keep the list there and check all of them at one time. Even if my package is in Singapore or HK or even Geneva I get info from USPS. On the rare occasion I don't get an update there I go to :

http://www.17track.net/index_en.shtml

I hit details in the far right column after putting in the number and hitting the track button. This site has never missed in my experience. This is for orders without batteries or liquids.

Sorry to disagree this time. That first arrival in country means it's in customs. West coast arrival is usually pretty quick. New York is slow. Mine is in Chicago for 3 days. We will see.

FYI and no disrespect to fastech, because my last order only took 15 days over the holidays-placed an order Saturday and made sure everything was in stock and said ship next day. It hasn't been packaged yet and when I inquired, customer service got back to me right away. Sounds like everyone is trying to get ahead of the Chinese holiday. She said the warehouse was crazy and it would ship in 24 hours.

I did post in there that "...USPS dropping the ball." No blame is on FastTech.
I checked the tracking again, and it finally arrived in Portland, so I should have it tomorrow or the day after.

:vapor:

Edit: The black one has an LCD problem, only get 3 out of 5 bars after charging (tried 2 different chargers). Seems to work ok, but will try it tomorrow and see if it is just an LCD problem or something else. Using the blue one now and seems to be working fine.

boborone ........ this reminds me of all my shooting - cleaning - rebuilding stuff I ordered over the years. I was so caught up I blew my budget (and it was a big budget at the time) every month. Then I stopped for three months - painful - and reassessed what I "missed" buying. I looked carefully .. closely .. every aspect and then decided............................................ screw it! I bought like crazy again! You really must control the urge! Too much ... too much ... too much! Arrrgggghhhh ... it's NEVER too much! Buyaoholics WE are indeed!

I resist the e-cigarette buys............. today. Gad I feel like a reformed alky-holic!:2cool:

Senile Old Man Don ......... IN CONTROL:blink:......... right now ........ and now:vapor:....... I'm slipping ...... slipping :vapor:........ I need more .............. control............. OR.................. "stuff"!

Yeah same experiemce here. SF keeps my package for 7-10 days before they move it!
They hate me

My ONLY order from FT ........... went to San Frannycisco...... THEN Las Vegas Nevada ...... then to Washington State ..... made three 'stops' at different "Sorting Depots" ........ then to Los Angeles (??) and finally 13 days later to Albuquerque!

It hit ALbuquerque... went through 'sorting'..... was dispatched to Rio Rancho...... was sorted again....... carrier picked it up and DELIVERED it the same day! ALL that time from San Franny and so on ....... BUT in ONE DAY they did the job here in NM! It's nuts.

They should call everywhere else The Land of Entrapment!

Senile Old Man Don .............. even in THIS shape .... I could WORK for the Post Office!
