Not sure what's worse. FT not in business for a couple of weeks... or the next 300 pages of this thread being full of tracking info and disgruntled vapers.

I am very glad you guys are getting your orders through before the new year vacation. I am still waiting for my package or a return of my money from a black Friday purchase. It seems like I will never see that money again even if it's just a gift certificate.

I've just managed to get my Caravela clone genny to work! I finally managed to get the wicking and wires placed so it no longer burns and tastes ghastly! It's a pleasant, warm vape, quite different from the Kayfuns, although I can't quite say how.
Anyway, it also looks really good on the Caravela clone body. A very cool little set. Both the atty and the body have been waiting for me to get my mind around them, and my fingers working, for a couple of weeks, but I was sulking and gnashing my teeth.

FT doesn't ship anything via a boat or ship..its all airmail!..and postal offices are open only a couple more days then they close, although FT already has shut down early to allow migrant workers to return to their home countries to spend the holidays....so if you don't get an "origin is preparing shipment" tracking notice soon, expect an extra 2 week delay above and beyond..
So, how do you like your Novice now that you have the flat-top batteries? Do you have any issues with it? I've had it waiting in my shopping cart for weeks. I'm a little nervous about getting a hybrid. It's kind of like the old tv/vcr combos. If either part of the combo doesn't work right, the whole thing is trash.
My package is in the black hole called Chicago ISC. Any ISC other than Chicago would have been fine, or so I'm told.
Yeah, I'm done with FT. Was told my order would be shipped within 36 hours two days ago. It went to "Packaging" early yesterday morning, but was never actually mailed out. Now since it's status is stuck in "Packaging" I can't even cancel the order.

I expected to use a smaller topper, like I do on my eGos, but it's a 510 connection, so I can't use my typical eGo toppers on it, the clearos, eVod-C BBC Bottom Coil Clearomizer (2.0mL) https://www.fasttech.com/p/1536403, or my Mini Protank E-Cigarette Atomizer (1.5mL) https://www.fasttech.com/account/orders/4.

They call it a hybrid! But, now that I look again, it does have one picture with the RBA removed. I don't remember seeing that before.

Um, no offence, but I thought the stuff about Chinese New Year celebrations had been flagged up here and elsewhere weeks, if not months, in advance?
FT is always a tradeoff of price against patience. If you don't have the latter, then don't order.
New record in receiving for me, that's now 2 orders in under 10 days of ordering in the last 3 weeks
Got some pre made and wicked NR-R-NR, glad only cheap, as wire is to short really to use on Ithaka clone, also got the rocket RBA, given up on that at the moment, as screws so tiny and coil ends won't stay under the screws.
Now no more ordering till the end of Feb, by then the holiday will be over and they should of caught back up

I didn't say that I wasn't aware of the Chinese New Year shutdown. I said they lied to me about their ability to ship it out before they shut down. They had moved a bunch of stuff from other orders around, including replacement parts for defectives, and then told me not to worry, that it would get out before they closed. A couple of days from the shutdown with no movement I got worried and opened a ticket. Was told, "It will ship within 36 hours."
I can deal with the waiting, I can deal with the hit-or-miss customer service, but I'm doing going to deal with the lying.

It's always dodgy ordering from HK or China at this time of the year. The promises you had may be considered to be similar to some promises made by retailers in the West just before Christmas.
It's not a good time to expect successful deadline orders.
