I'm starting to get rather ticked off at the fasttech experience.
After placing my order for the Vamo V2 kit (with the Nitecore charger and two Panasonic 18650 batteries) back on June 25th - which the website said would ship in 3 days - and getting antsy after hearing zip for 4 days, I opened a ticket to inquire.
FT gave me their canned response about how "fasttech makes sure all in-stock orders leave our hands in about 1 to 2 business days they are placed. And yours is a rare case." They thanked me for my patience and understanding and told me that it would ship on the 3rd when it was back in stock.
Now, today is the 3rd, and it's somewhere close to 9PM over in HK, and nothing.
And of course, they took full payment for the thing the moment I placed my order.
I knew this wasn't going to be the speediest delivery - I understood that going in - but this is ridiculous. 9 days after placing my order and the thing hasn't even shipped yet? And from what I can tell on ECF, others who placed the same order around the same time as me have gotten notification of shipments, and some have even received their Vamos and are happily puffing away.
What in Sam Hill... is going on here?

it happens. just have to wait. i had an order when the svd came up on 6-6 and didnt get my stuff till 6-29. and it took maybe a week to ship.
I get my shipment alerts between 11:00am and 12:30pm central time, which is a little over three hours away. I just checked emails from them that stated my items were, and they all fell in that time frame. I've posted the time stamps below.

Well...okay. I guess I can wait a few more hours before, well, before...well, nothing, really.
But this SO frustrating.
Went through the same thing with my kts and a couple of RBA's. Took 9 day to ship. Just left San Fran on July 1st. I wanted them for Vape-A-Palooza. They wont be here in time. I was mad as can be. Finally starting to get over it. But it will slow my roll with fasttech for a while. And that's a good thing.
Now your looking at another 7-10 business days for delivery. The stuff is being posted half way around the world on free shipping so yea, waiting is part of the game.
For the person stuck in SF, that is where it takes the most time. I just had one sit there for a week but it is usually around four days.

Given others' experiences, I expected that, when the website said it would ship within 3 business days, it would ship within 3 business days - and then I would wait a couple of weeks for it to make its way around the globe. Not that it would take 9 or more days before it even shipped....and THEN start the globe trotting.

Part of our problem is we post what we want on this thread. Then everyone else orders it too. It ends up out of stock and we have to wait. We're causing our own problem.

I haven't been able to keep up with this fast moving thread. Has it been determined if the X9 is plastic or glass? I know there has been some discussion but when ordered it was listed as glass...
No known valid codes at this time. Perhaps I need to check out the x6. The reviews on the site were only fair with some leaking reported but I guess most people make reviews because they are unhappy.
FT have stated they will not be doing codes for eCig stuff as it is a new market and their buy in prices fluctuate ad they don't have high profit margins. You can get codes for Flashlights and other items. They will price match on eCig stuff if you send them a link of the same item cheaper elsewhere. I got the Twist reduced by $3 by doing that.
Thanks for the heads up on the silver x10. I have the black one in my 3rd FT order and it just shipped out. Looks like I need to ask for another rebate since they dropped the price.

Its plastic, probably polycarbonate. There is a thread around here somewhere where someone put in a tank cracking juice and ruined one.

Or just order the X6. Free shipping, so it's not like you'll pay extra, and you won't have to worry about it slowing down your original order. I ordered two X6 kits and my order had to be split into three parts (the tanks and drip tips I ordered was the first, one was the first X6, and the other was the other X6). I got the first order Monday and the other two are still enroute. One will probably be here Saturday, and the other will probably be here next Thursday or Friday.
But that was just my experience and my thoughts. It may be worth it to order it individually.
