I have a TVS mod in one order and a set of 5 driptips in another; both show as Accepted in HK on the 11th.
I am interested to see how long it will take, even though I don't have any batts or juice in my orders.
I am fairly patient though.....I have been waiting for some silicone button coasters (not from FT) since the 28th of August from China, lol
I don't care when they get here, as long as they get here

Finally an update!! It says its now been processed through a sort facility in HK! This makes my day. Lol. Now I just have to wait another week or so for it to get to MA.

Oh, I agree that US regulations don't mean diddly-squat to the Chinese post office. I was just a bit surprised because I would have assumed that the US had the most restrictive policies in effect (given the way we (over-)react to the merest mention of terrorism). So I would have assumed anything allowed by the US post office would pretty much be allowed by any other postal system in the world (not counting things that may be illegal in a given country or whatever).

All 4 of my orders are going via Singapore Post. These are my first orders with FastTech. Will my orders be impacted by this announcement regarding Hong Kong Post?

What I find interesting is the part I bolded. That clearly implies that these regulations (whatever they are exactly) have been in effect for some period of time and fasttech has been skirting the rules and sending them anyways (under the assumption that they would rarely be caught).

Caught, as in snagged, picked out (remember you're dealing with someone's second, third or maybe even fourth language).

Shipping the Li-ion batteries in the plastic cases as FT has done since I started order is the way to ship the bare cells by air and as far as I know that includes in the US where it is rarely done.
If China actually had a ban on shipping Li-ion by any means they would be out of business.

Yes it covers both HK/USPS and Singapore post.

Hong Kong Post probably gets hundreds of thousands packages per day. Unless they have singled out FastTech then this is effecting all Chinese businesses that export. When the government sees that it is effecting their economy, changes will be made.

Well, I had one of the Volt/Bolt clones shipped apart from my original order and now I have a set of drip tips shipped apart from another order :/ I've gotten a slip from the post office saying I have something from China needing a signature, so I've got to go in to pick it up and sign for it. Everything I have says that it's in Hong Kong, so I am not sure what it could be

I've got a big pack of clearos that I can live without but I still want them or I wouldnt have ordered them. I would also like one of these new Vamo's but until they free up the pipe and get things flowing, it will just stay on a wish list.

Maybe its for the best. I think it looks like a little man screaming NO!!!!! at you. Also wondering how long that finish will last too.

Thanks for that info. Looking at USPS Tracking, two of my shipments say: "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment". I found this reassuring that the USPS knows they exist. The other two shipments haven't achieved that level yet.

Does the "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment" status provide a clue as to where my FT stuff is? I placed my first order on 08/31 and it was updated as fully shipped on 09/02.

9 Days......still very acceptable.

I have dealt with several China suppliers and unless using DHL at a premium - Fasttech has been much Faster in getting things out. I honestly think some of the companies stack boxes and take them out once a week, or longer.

OK - but if that's so you'll lose the handy removable top cap that the V3 has. The guts of the V2 are just fine and the SS one won't tarnish on you.
