Thanks. Getting them from madvapes for 25 cents a piece seems like a good enough deal for me. Sure, madvapes charges $2.99 for ground shipping. But, they offer the silicone tips in real pretty colors!

Yeah, I know, ecblends sells hem too. But since this is fasttech thread, and a relatively new item for them, I thought I'd mention it.

On another note, of 4 recent orders, one made it to me three weeks after ordering. Another just cleared SF, by the time it gets to me,it will be 4 weeks sine the order was placed. One more is sitting in "accepted" status in HK. Fourth order hasn't shipped, waiting on one item to restock. Average delivery time doubling from what we were getting is mildly annoying, but it won't keep me from placing another order. (No batteries right now however).

I am getting a bit ...... about my order. It still shows accepted in Hong Kong since the 6th.

I know the feeling. Getting upset worked for me. It was like magic. I started making a fuss and then I heard a knock at the door. It was the mail-lady with my order. USPS is not obliged to scan your package. USPS treats your package like bulk mail. So, somethings you'll see updates, but often it just shows-up.

Same thing happened to me. I finally got an order this week which sat in Chicago since August 7th. I paid $46.55 in duties to receive my order. This crap never happened with large orders that went through San Fran that were well over $500.
Now, I have another order stuck in Chicago that was just over $100 of eGo cases. These bastages better not eff me again with their made up value bs.

You need to split your orders down to less than $200 otherwise you are liable for import duty in the US. I would not go over $100 in case they spot 2 of your packages in the same pile.

I know what you mean. My package from NY hasn't changed status since the 17th. However, it does say, "expected delivery" on the 20th. Hello! It's the 22nd. Florida is usually about 3 days, first class package.

What's the longest anyone has waited for an order. It's a 26 dollar order and I been patiently waiting to get it. Should I just be patient or get in touch with someone and see what's up with it?

Be patient, this thread is full of posts about similar delays due HK post stepping up out going inspections. FT´s ticket system is getting overwhelmed right now and they won't be able to tell you much until the package is either forwarded on or returned back to them.

I posted a couple days ago about some ego 900 mAH and ego engraved 900 mAh batteries where it seemed as though the threading was stripped (and submitted a ticket). But I just tried a new iClear on them and they seem to be fine? Yet another new iClear won't? I am now confused if it its the batteries or an issue with the iClears. The same iClears will work on some and not others. COnfusing i know and doesnt seem to make any sense and can't figure out where the issue lies. (2 of the batteries also brand new and one was used about 2 weeks)

Maybe you should back it down a notch and realize the government can tell from Quantity, you are not purchasing for personal use. This throws you in the business category and mandates Fees be applied.

Order what you may, but realize there are specific guidelines for personal purchases.

Agreed we here in Louisiana know a bit about hurricanes too. :)

Think about the people not the orders. Many are going to need help and prayers.

Just a little curious. Have they stated why Honk Kong Post considers lithium batteries contraband?

Not contraband - Hazardous materials

Contraband is illegal to ship
Hazardous requires special handling like Sea shipment.

People don't seem to realize things are effected by atmospheric pressure, like flying at 40,000 feet. Things expand and, yes, can go boom. Cargo holds are not normally pressurized during flight.

Can you see any irregularities on the battery threads? Does the Iclear thread on either battery or will it just go onto one and not the other?

General rule of thumb: If all but one iClear fits on the battery then it is probably the iClear with wonky threads. If the Iclear fits on all but one battery then it is probable the threads on the battery.

Some times you can run them on and off a few times and the tweeked thread will cut itself in and work out for you.

Just guessing here but it sounds like the iClear is at fault. Remember these are seriously massed produced parts in factories where QC isn't always up to American standards. (Then again a lot of American factory products are not always up to American standards)

Thinking about the people posts are few and far between so hopefully the members moaning in this thread will consider items can be replaced--lives can't.

It sounds like both products have threading inconsistencies but if those are Innokin Iclears I'd guess it is the battery threads are more of an issue but not necessarily defective. How do the clearos work with other batteries and how do the batteries work with other clearos (as in different brands).

Seein your location I must say WHO DEY.

I made a fuss here on this thread. I didn't file any dispute or anything. I should have been more clear. My post was more about karma. As soon as I started getting worked-up and whined a bunch it arrived. It made me feel like a heel.
