We're in the same "boat". My 2 orders were shipped the same day, no movement. Guess it'll be a while. But I did make a new order today for something else. lol
The sad thing is mark...the new stuff you ordered will probably get to you BEFORE all the stuff that got hung up due to the knee jerk reaction and the piling up of stuff waiting to be scanned..

I give kudo's to fasttech for their quick reaction and figuring out a way to keep their packages moving in SPITE of the new regulation...DURING holiday season...and DURING a typhoon!

The stuff that got roadblocked will take alot longer...but it will get thru...even if it gets kicked back...they will turn around, stick it in HK post...put it on a boat...but it WILL get shipped!

I'm still waiting on an update from mine that was accepted on the sixth.

sigh.

oh well, lol,,,,,,,,I just hope it GETS here,,,,,I really want it :) It's a Vamo,,,not just some cartos or something I could live without :)

The funny thing is...mine was a Innokin SVD. I'm vaping on my Vamo V3 SS I just got off Ebay yesterday. I just couldn't wait. lol I ordered it a couple days ago.

Same deal here. I am waiting on an SVD. I'm down to my last Ego battery, all my coil heads are about dead and it's getting harder and harder to get a decent cloud.

I've waited months and several arguments to finally get approval from my "accountant". By the time I get approval, there's a friggin backlog at the post office and now it's going to take a couple more months. To top it all off, I'm going through a nic-fit right NOW and I have my vape with me.

My birthday is in November. Maybe I can ask someone to spend $70 for a vamo V2 from a local vape shop. (Mods | Ion Vapor)

EDIT: Sorry for the rant. Did I mention I'm nicking out?

oh please, don't apologize,,, you sound like me,,,,,,

I finally got an over priced Ego (25.00) just to get me through,,,,,,,,DD and I were down to one passthrough (ONLY passthrough) and one spinner that had about 50% power (3 hours vaping time) BETWEEN us,,,,,

I don't even know how that happened,,,,,,2 months ago, I was swimming in extra batteries,,,,,,,we gave them away, lost them and broke them in 2 months. GAAH!@

do yourself a favor,,,,,,,,get an overpriced EGO if you possibly can,,,,,,at least you'll get your nic.

650 Single Kit – Create A Cig

OK, it's a kit, but you get the idea. I could buy a bare 650 for $20 after taxes, but I refuse to buy something when I know for a fact that I'm getting ripped off. I get it, they need to pay rent, pay employees, eat and all that other good stuff, but get real! Standard markup is 100% and I know they are getting 650 mAh Ego kids for less than $27!

These prices are standard for our local B&M's.
If you just want cheap knock-offs:
Ego 1300mah Battery - $14.00
Ego 650mah Battery - $10.00
Ego 650mah Battery - $10.00

Or, if you want the good stuff:
Joyetech Ego-C Twist 650mah Battery - $19.00

Shipping is fast and cheap.

ETA: Use "ecf5" for 5% off.

Since you are in Austin - the ECF store locator seems to say there is another vape supplier in Austin but says nothing of prices Ciggy Shack - ECF E Cigarette Store Locator

Love that store, but their prices are also high. They wanted $100 for the SVD kit that comes with the I30's. These stores are catering to new vapers who are looking to break from cigarettes. They justify their prices based on a $5.00/day habit and can convince new customers of the money they'll be saving. Frankly, I've such crappy luck with my batteries that I've about broke even. I've managed to somehow kill two 510-T batteries, one 650 mAh Ego, one 1300 mAh Ego, and my final battery, another 1300 mAh Ego is held together with Super Glue and is starting to act strange (light on the charger is green but the light on the Ego remains lit). All of this since July 13th of this year. The sturdiest piece of equipment I have is the original "21st Century" proprietary cigalike I bought at a Walmart gas station for $20. Maybe I'll break that back out. The battery only lasts fro about 15 minutes per charge, and I've figured out to refill their proprietary threaded cartridges.
I have $15 bucks left to my name that I'm saving in the event that my package gets rejected by HK Post, I might be able to get FastTech to put the batteries on a boat and reship the rest and buy a single 18650 battery locally.

EDIT: On second thought, I'll probably just cancel my order and spend my $100 on an Evic from a US supplier and spend my $15 on a cheap atomizer or two.

Do you already know Muambator? I don't know if an American website does the same service, and gratis:

Translation:
"If you are one of those people who can stop every 2 minutes to check the post website to check your package tracking, you're one of us and need to use the Muambator!

In the Muambator, after you register your package, every time there is a change in the mail service, you'll receive a notification. This notification could happen via email, twitter or a push message in your smartphone (iOS/Android).

The Muambator makes use of the InteSys technology to send emails."

This is neat. But I think many people wouldn't like to submit a tracking number to a third party. Well, I'm not one of those!

Has anyone made the case here why eGo Clones (or knock-offs) are bad? It's all I've ever owned. Is it just a status thing?
Just my experience and others here have had better luck. I picked up 2 900 mah ego clones from Fasttech both died in short order (as in weeks) yes fasttech did the replacement but I just don't want to muck with it every couple weeks. So when I bought my twists I got the genuine Joyetech ones.

I just bought a genuine Joyetech battery to tide me over, and the quality just seems BETTER than the off brand my DD just bought,,,,

for the 4.00 difference, I'd get the Joyetech. However, if it was a much larger difference, I'm no snob,,,,,I'd get the knock off.

Thanks. Good to know. I guess I've been lucky with my clones. The only thing flaking out on me is my Halo G6. But, I've had it since the beginning of August.

In 2 1/2 years, I've only had one Joyetech eGo battery start to malfunction enough to get rid of. And, that one was still working, just becoming a little sketchy. I still have my original Joyetech batteries from my original kit (2 1/2 years old)

I've only bought 2 knock-offs. I use them to give to people who want to try vaping. I don't really care if they keep them. They work about as well as the one Joyetech brand that I got rid of. Live and learn.

So, it's about reliability, not status. I just want something that works and that I can trust. I'm too cheap to throw money away on something that doesn't work right.

K100,K101 and KTS all fit the bill
https://www.fasttech.com/products/0...echanical-mod-e-cigarette-battery-compartment

Search < Mod > and have some fun!

I think I'll be going with the K101, but I'm still torn this an the KTS, I ordered an SVD from FastTech and the button ended up not functioning, it wouldn't fire all the time. I ended up returning it to FastTech and I'm waiting for my credit so I can order some more.

The black K101 looks so slick, I've seen a Protank on both the K101 and KTS, anyone have any pictures of the protank2 on these mods?

I also don't know which battery to get for these mods, should I order

These IMR 18350 Batteries
OR
These non-IMR protected 18350 Batteries

I tried researching them, it seems like since IMR are "chemically safe", they don't need to be protected. I remember FunkyZero posting another site for batteries, so if anyone has other suggestions than FastTech, I'm open to those as well. Thanks for all the advice! Happy vaping.
