Mine was accepted 1 hour before yours and i'm still at "Origin Post preparing shipment". :(

If it was by boat it would take a couple weeks and wouldn't be to NJ. It will take a day or two to get to "Acceptance", another two or three days to get out of HK and another 2 or 4 once it's cleared from SF to arrive at its destination. Of course that's when everythings running smoothly. Some get out of hk in a hurry, some take there time. This month it's a crapshoot.

I have yet to have one fly into NJ.

Yea, I wasn't sure how that works...probably never figure it out :). Your right about the crapshoot. I feel bad for those that have waited so long. I still have orders waiting too, but not as long as some have. Maybe FT will put a foot up HKP's .... n get it going soon

Well, you suck.

OK, just kidding. My order was accepted 24hrs before yours and is still listed as "accepted":
September 25, 2013 , 10:48 am Acceptance HONG KONG

I think you got the fast line and I got the old guy who knows he can't be fired.

Yea maybe that"s it?! Lol. I still can't believe how screwed up things seem to be there right now. I just hope I didn't tick somebody off at FT, and they're sending me a package "I can't refuse"

I really appreciate your very comprehensive opinion! And thanks for those links. I'm leaning toward the Nemesis, but I still need to study these out better. I need to ask you, what 18350 and 18650 batteries do you use?

-----

I use the PD's. They last for freekin ever and are perfect unless you get into low-resistance lunacy (below 1.5ohms and I highly discourage it).
I would put in a separate order for them and expect to wait 3 weeks to get them.
Do yourself a favor and do NOT cheap out on batteries or chargers. Right now, the absolute best charger on the market per dollar is the Xtar VP1 and fasttech now sells them for an incredibly low price.

Here are links:

PD Batteries: https://www.fasttech.com/p/1233700
VP1 Charger: https://www.fasttech.com/p/1450109

I can't stress this enough: Do not cheap out on batteries OR the charger.
There are other very good batteries out there too. These Panasonic come highly recommended by many who I would consider experts. They also have the raised button on the positive post... something you want for additional safety reasons.
If you want 18350's, look somewhere besides Fasttech, they don't sell any that I would put in my mouth and vape. You want the red Efest or AW IMR's (AW preferably, but the Efest is an excellent battery too). Both can be acquired from RTD vapor and they are an authorized AW reseller so you know they will not be fakes.

For a few bucks, it's worth springing for a fireproof bag too (https://www.fasttech.com/p/1391601). Throw it on your Fasttech order. They are nice for that extra safety I like to have.

Hey guys......got some stuff today (pics later if I have time). Do you ladies and gents wash out the plastic refill bottles before using, or are they good to go?

I got my brass chi you clone today and it is as good, if not better than, the SS version! Everything is easily interchangeable between the two. My Ithaka will likely be here tomorrow. I can't believe the quality of equipment that I have for the price in comparison to what some pay!! Go team clone!!

DANGIT! I was struggling with making a decision and I went with the SS.
Now I have to order another mod. I hate you

VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE REF PAYPAL: FastTech Forums

Is this true? PayPal will not back you up in case of lost or undelivered E-cig related products? Anybody have real life experience on this issue?

BTW...I see the mailman outside. My SVD is suppose to be delivered today. I need to go check!

Paypal can go s.. never mind.
Paypal won't help you anyway. I've had 3 disputes in 12 years and all 3 times they threw me to the wolves. They don't care.
I'm talking about blatant stuff too, I ordered a Laser gun-sight once described as brand new in box. The thing came and was broken and even super-glued back together. I'm talking about a 600 dollar device. They made me jump through hoops for 3 months up to and including shipping the unit to the manufacturer and getting a statement from them that it was not properly functioning. Then they STILL denied my claim. I had a 10 year history with them and 100% positive feedback over 900 on ebay too.
Every single time it's an absolute joke. Again, Paypal will NOT help you. NEVER buy anything unless you use a credit card for this reason alone. and if you have a problem, don't even bother contacting the bastagez, just call your credit card company and save yourself 3 months of hell.
I also highly suggest that you open a second checking account just for paypal, never give those SOB's a direct link to your main account. I've heard more than a few horror stories about them freezing peoples money and all kinds of debauchery. They cannot be trusted.

Well said. One question? Did that vp1 ever be confirmed as original?

Yea, some folks have run the confirmation codes through the process and they all came back as genuine.

Thanks mate. Read a few of the posts. I guess there was something in the posts that for some reason left a ? Still. I haven't looked at them for the vp1 in a week or so. So may have missed it.

Thanks too ref.

I know it is not on your list but the K100 I got from fasttech fits the bill. I did not have to mod a thing and it has been solid and reliable as day after night for nearly 6 weeks now.

I just submitted a reply to you and when I hit the Submit button it told me my post was too short. It was not short. Now I'm too tired to do it again. Very sorry about that. Some day I'll learn to 'copy' my posts before submitting them...I hope. Anyhow, thanks for your suggestion, the k100 seems to be a very popular model. But earlier today I ordered an M-16...just hoping it shoots straight. :)

Thanks again. Sure enough, both of my eGo Minis are DOA. I just opened a ticket with FastTech. They have identical failures. Neither takes a charge. Neither will provide any power or light-up when you press the button. All of the e-cig chargers and wall adapters work fine with other eGo batteries.

Not to be a wise .... but..... have you tried the five button push to turn it on? That has stumped many a user.

Careful with some of those m16s. One of them has aluminum threads which can strip easily. From what I read. Rest of it seems to get good reviews.

V 2.0. Sitting next to me now. Pardon me while I try another setting....

You're going to dig this great box mod. Every one has said that the V2 still has that irritating button woble. I cam up with the http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/variable-voltage-apv-discussion/449105-mvp-button-wobble-fix-easy-way.html Drop a note in that thread if it works out for you or even if it doesn't, but it will :)

You are going to be shocked how long this battery last. I plug it in at night and have only ever hit yellow once after charging up a lady friends dead cell phone!

I got the brass M-16. Hope there are no aluminum threads.... That thing gets nothing but great reviews and I studied out all the reviews, etc on the popular brands.

You are wise! That's the trick. I'm so embarrassed. I knew that 5 click thing, but hadn't encountered it on any new ones. Thanks.

You're not the only one, believe me...:) I've done it at least three times, including going into full panic mode

When I read your post, I was thinking that 1 DOA was possible, but that 2 might possibly be the 5-click on/off situation. I'm glad Capt.Shay suggested trying the clicking trick.

Now if something doesn't work, I start off by assuming that it's me. In my case it usually is...:)
