bummer, i just read about the batteries after ordering from them twice in the last week or two.
that they don't tell you on checkout is BS.
it doesn't make sense that they'd let a flash light stuffed with batteries on the plane, but not a packet of batteries.

I'd pick USPS. It seems like things are just about back to normal for new orders. I just received a small order yesterday, 2 weeks after placing the order. First time I've had an order skip SanFran and seem to go right from Hong Kong to Illinois.

seen some good reviews for using in a mech.dont know about the chemistry but if we use safety fuse there is protection from shorts and any coil above 0.4 ohm the battery can handle it easily
SO good to hear about the PDs. I have been SOOOOOOOOO tempted by the higher mah of those. As you and I have discussed before I never vape anything below a 1.5 ohm coil so 10 AMp works pretty well for me.

if you are interested in higher mah these beat PDs and max discharge rate is 6.8A.
even 1.5 ohm coil @ 6V the battery discharge rate or whatever is 4A so your are with in the the battery limits.
in the beginning even i thought that NCRPDs are the best battery for VV/VW devices after seeing grimmgreens vlog i have changed my mind
ordered them on 10/5 4:00am and FT packed it and sent me tracking no by 10:30pm.
i have been checking SG post website at least 5 times a day and it has not accepted the package yet.

F y'all, I ain't reading this entire thread.
No need to read it all at once, just buy the 10,000 post souvenir hardback edition when it comes out and keep it in the bathroom (skip posts 7000-9000 they are just people complaining about shipping times)
I haven't seen the "nail test" (puncture) done on the other Panasonic batteries, and since Panasonic won't say exactly what's in their batteries a puncture or short out test would have to be done to say for sure which ones vent (like IMR) and which explode. According to RTD which sells good batteries and genuine AW's, they call all the Panasonic batteries "hybrid". I've been using NCR18650PD Panasonic in my mechanical mods for almost 2 months, but I don't get anywhere near the 10 amp max continuous current they are rated for. If I had a short I might find out if they explode or vent, I'm being as careful as I can so far. I haven't read about exploding Panasonic batteries yet, although I have heard of a grey CGR18650CH venting in some guy's backpack because he didn't store it in a case... it was loose.
Not really important info for this thread, unless you want to take the gamble on ordering batteries from FastTech. The CGR18650CH does still exist here is the US, but they're about 50% more $.
I still don't understand the battery shipment issues. If we can't get them, how are all the US vendors getting theirs?

hello, i been hiding! no just very busy -_-
so my FastTech order.. i ordered 19th Sept or something, then it was dispatched 25th Sept as had to wait for a couple items.. and then it was recognized receipt for a couple days, then on 4th Oct is was dispatched overseas.. and i got it today 9th Oct think all in all that was a pretty good order! obviously would've been quicker if all the items I had were dispatched within one day but few were 3 days etc. i had 2 ego batteries too in the package so all in all i've impressed and will be ordering again! not looking at this thread has helped my paranoia haha.
ps. how cute is the mini ego battery!

Newer orders are moving quicker, I ordered 30 coils on the 30th September, that had a 3 day wait to ship, so didn't ship till 3rd September, and they have already processed through Hong Kong shipping, so wouldn't be surprised to see in my mailbox early next week

Also the Nazi symbol is a backwards swastika, the Indian symbol on the mod faces the correct way, although the majority of people looking at the mod will think its a Nazi theme mod.

Been waiting to hear back from you. Hope you enjoy your new toys. Isn't that little four hundred just the cats PJ's. It is the perfect size for dropping in your pocket for an hour or two out the door. Fresh off the charger it discharges at 3.7 volts and gives a pretty good hit on most clearo's. You will know when you are running out as the vape quality will go down hill.

I am still showing acceptance of Sept 5th. It was a 5 pack of ego-ish batteries that I plan on giving out over the holidays. I am glad I had the foresight to order early as they may arrive around the holidays.

If I order a Itaste SVD from Fasttech.com. Will this order be affected by the issues they are having?
I received my tracking # yesterday however It is still not showing up with the usps. I have tried the hong kong post and its not showing up there as well.
