Meh when you order you take your chances. My question is why is HK post cutting off business. FT has shipped batteries well in their cases more so than what I have received from US vendors. I really haven't had a problem but it seems too many have. I have been ordering since last year with no problems at all. Ever since Sep all hell has broken loose.

I know about taking chances, and your right. Looks like (to me) there's been some 'mismanagement' going on lately from Ft mods post. Hope it isn't as bad as I'm thinking, but does explain things a little better as to why things have been so screwy this last month

"I should add, probably decided this when they were both *&%$ing wasted at a bar
Fasttech's shipping contractor, the contractor that keeps &%$#ing up... its Jasmine's boyfriend/fiance"

Once the order I have in the wind right now is settled, I will not be ordering from FT again unless this stuff settles down.

Wow, quite the drama ... glad I switched to RTD and 101 for batteries awhile ago.

You know this could effect more than just battery sales, but hey, it is what it is. I never put all my eggs into one basket anyway. There will always someone to fill the void LOL

China has lots of problems and undercutting US vendors could be just the tip of the iceberg. They have truly saved me a fortune so I can't complain. As we all know just about everything has batteries in it today from I phones to everything else --what if the major country that makes those shuts the door.

On a larger wholesale scale that's not really a concern. The Chinese are just too darn good at free market capitalism. They would never block large scale sales of anything that brings money in. On a smaller retail level, however... well, we're seeing that they don't really care. Likely we'll see places like FT eliminate loose battery sales but continue with everything else, which is probably for the best. The last thing we need is a fire caused by improperly packeged LiIon batteries on a mail plane. That'd just bring the Customs heat back on all our gear.
