I guess I should clarify my comment.
I'm not advocating buying from a vendor just because they're in the US.
However, there are many that don't jack up the price to ridiculous profit margins. I would rather spend a couple of extra dollars (not 300-400% more) to support a small business owner though.
fasttech, from all appearances has very shoddy customer service. The reasonable vendors get the same products and sell them for a slight markup and will provide much better customer service, not just speed of delivery.

Should I feed you? No. Find a different thread. This is the FT thread. We may moan about delivery times (I have done today) but mainly we are patient because this gives us better prices.

You seem to be fond of American retailers, which is fine. You might be happier on a Provari thread where they go on and on about the device being American made.

Look what happened to Detroit.

People buying from FastTech crack me up...
Just go look at the Negative Review Thread for suppliers.
So many people trying to save a buck or two to keep the "middlemen" (Meaning US vendors) from making a buck.
Maybe getting jerked around from a Hong Kong company will give you some idea of what your local vendors go through.

Haha, my monthly ecig budget would get eaten up in a second if I bought in the states. I have no problem waiting 2 weeks from order date to delivery so that I can save double or triple on the same exact crap i'd buy from a US vendor.

I know Ray, have bought his Boge Carto tanks from Valley View Vapes for AGES.

He's not trolling... he's had a store and I BELIEVE he's just laughing about our small gripes over shipping and saying, all the gripes here are MULTIPLIED when it's a US vendor waiting for shipments and dealing with BOTH shipping issues on incoming stock AND the whining masses.

Don't slap down Ray, please... he's one of the vendors to sell for VERY CLOSE to cost for many vapers for ages.

I have not used FT yet but I am considering an order. The V5 and SVD, Nitecore I2, Protank and coils,

AND batteries. So I should order the first line, then separate order for batteries. Do I get to specify slow boat for batteries so they don't even try HKP? Seems to me that is going to happen anyway, so why extend the wait by trying?

IF you order any batteries, put them on a separate order and us the Singapore shipping option. It's going to take a long time to get them, but they have a little better chance of not getting sent back to FT. There is a good chance you will not get batteries at ALL, and FT will have to refund your money so go into this knowing that. Anything with a battery from anywhere in China is going to suffer the same odds right now. If you want to be vaping in the next month, you might want to consider a US source for batteries. That being said, a few people are actually getting their batteries through, it's just not the norm anymore.

And just a suggestion in case you didn't know: A lot of people complain that the nitecore chargers overheat their batteries so personally, I would avoid it and go with an XTar VP1 or an Efest LUC. I have both and they are intelligent/safe chargers and I know first hand that the batteries stay near room temperature while charging. Unfortunately, Fasttech is out of stock on the VP1 and don't carry the Efest.

It's awful the way you've been treated. There is no excusing it. Some posters here will share their example of something shipping in a timely matter as if that's evidence that everything is OK. Where I went to high school 65% was a D. Anything below 65% was a failing grade. When grading my FastTech ordering experience I include everything from the website to the moment I actually use the product.
I've been consistently disappointed.

I'll probably order again. No need for someone to advise me on what I should or shouldn't do.

Personally, I'm thinking that maybe sometime in late January, things might be slowing down. I don't know if this will be good, or bad for us trying to get batteries. The load will be drastically reduced and shipping should speed back up, but at the same time with less packages to deal with, HKP might just have more time to scrutinize packages and catch more stuff.
I'm certain I will order form them again too... it's just gonna be a while, mainly because my wife but a hard stop on ANY new vape gear purchases (I got a little out of control in Sept and Oct).

What cracks me up is how much time people who will not order from China on principle spend haunting a dedicated FastTech thread.

And vice versa. The question you should be asking why are so many FT customers complaining about poor service? In 2013 a item in stock should never take 2 months to delivery unless it was never in stock to begin with.

How is that vice versa, you are the one who won't order from China on principle ( this can be seen on the sticky in the FT subforum where you were asked to leave by the mods) and here you are clicking like on any negative post and chipping in on why we shouldn't use this particular shop. Whereas I am the one spending my time in a thread dedicated to a shop where I make regular purchases.

Who has an item that took 2 months...TO SHIP?

FT has typically been very accurate on their time to ship.

FT does not own the postal service.

I have heard of VVV. Never ordered from him, as I have only been into vaping for a couple of months.

If he was still in business when I started looking into cartotanks, I very well may have ordered one of his.

But that doesnt give him an excuse to come into a FT thread and laugh at everyone. "Crack me up" <<His words, not mine.

In fact, if he was still a vendor, he would not be allowed to post in this thread at all. So it seems even more inappropriate for him to be 'laughing at everyone'.

Just my 2 cents.

Man, this thread is like a fly trap for those that want to act superior to vapers that need or want to save money... Eternally amusing.

MY ITHAKA!!! ITS SOO CLOSE I CAN SMELL IT IN THE AIR!! ORDERED ON SEPT 27TH, SHIPPED OUT LAST WEEK. IN SAN FRAN TODAY! GIMMIE THAT SHEEEITTT NEEEOOOOWW!!!!

in other shipping related news..

I haven't had any orders sent back to ft other than 6 seperate orders of 18650's. Yes, they all got rejected. I have been refunded for 2 via paypal and refunded for another 2 via store credit. The last 2 orders of batteries are on its way back to ft. This could take 3-8 days judging from my experience.

I also had an order for some ego twist 1300mah batteries. I was ...... off that I ordered so many without reading the info on batteries, but needless to say, they all arrived in the mail today along with the chi you atty, bolt mod, couple igo-l's/w's, etc.

I haven't had an issue with shipping yet other than with batteries. I always place batteries in a seperate order (but this has been said numerous times already.) I also place mech mods or anything that might look like a battery in its own separate order as well. The chi you atty could be mistaken as a battery through an xray (maybe) so I put it in its own order and so on...

All 17 orders placed in the past 60 days have been sent out. 9 of them are in my possession. 6 of them have been sent back. And 2 of them just hit/left san fran. NEMMY AND ITHAKA!!! ITS ABOUT DAMN TIME!

I have been refunded for 4 of the 6 orders that didn't make it through and I'm confident FT will refund my last 2 orders. I requested a paypal refund for the first 2 but it took like 3 days to actually hit my bank account (after it showed up on my paypal acc).

I didn't like the wait and I have a lot of things I still want to buy from FT so I requested gift cards for the 2nd 2 orders and have already spent them on coil heads and other crap. Those "other crap" had nothing but small sized items in it and it shipped out very quickly. Less than 2 weeks. I will request a gift card refund for the last 2 orders of batteries when FT confirms it's arrival.

but... still.... all of that doesn't matter...

There's really only 1 thing and 1 thing only that I have been waiting for..

I WANT MY ITHAKAA!! NOWW!!!!!!!

On a positive note I've got two FT orders out for delivery today. One's got a few bottom coil tanks and some drip tips (I love the little black delrin ming-style tips!), the others got a couple of Helio rebuildables and an X1. Total time from ordering was about 2 1/2 weeks for the bottom coils and 1 1/2 weeks for the RDAs.
