So true. I ordered the MVP at the beginning of Nov., and then a series of small orders. The little things I got right away, including batteries, about a week and a half after I placed the order. And now I'm tearing my hair out because the MVP has been in acceptance for about 2 weeks. I have to constantly remind myself to stop being a Piggy Instant Gratification American. It's not like I don't already have two other mods I can be using. But I want my, I want my, I want my MPV!

Similar thing with me. Ordered 10th Oct, status "shipped" on Oct 12th. Not here yet. I've had a ticket open on this for a while now, starting very politely (of course) and getting a little firmer over time. I last posted to this ticket over three days ago, but no reply from FT.

I don't mind waiting but this is getting a bit silly now - and like you I'm doing the Dire Straits thing...:)

Vape On
:vapor:

Supposedly it is supposed to save on button wear and tear. I just picture shaking and my liquid flying all over the place.

How to use:

  • Press the button 5 times to turn on the system also 5 times to turn off.
  • Press the button and simultaneously shake the body till it vibrates to enter into the menu.
  • Press button again to choose the menu of voltage/wattage/show(screen display)/mobile charge/smoking time.
  • When enter into the menu of voltage/wattage, rotate the body towards right to increase the voltage/wattage and left to decrease, then shake again till it vibrates to take into effect.
  • When enter into the menu of show/mobile, rotate towards right to turn on and left to turn off the screen display/mobile charge, then shake till it vibrates to take into effect.
  • When enter into the menu of smoking time, rotate towards right to increase and left to decrease, then shake till it vibrates to take into effect.

Or shake it until it goes "Boom"!

Exactly, I think I tell more people not to order from FT than I recommend them to. Some people just don't have the mindset for it (not talking about those caught up in the HKP issue waiting months). The FT forums are full of such people, they have seen a link with a cheap price and are screaming fraud when it hasn't arrived after 3 weeks.

I expect a lot of angry threads with Swiss Post in the coming days, my first order shipped on the 2nd. I can't fathom the amount of anger some people will have when they see Swiss Post takes it sweet time to deliver packages :p

So. I just got my first Singapore post tracking number.

We shall see how this goes. :pop:

As my last two orders seemed to get to me in very good time with HK post. They are actually out for delivery today from my home Post Office. They were both ordered on the 11th and both shipped on the 14th and went into acceptance on the 16th and processed thru San Fran on the 19th now in FL and out for delivery on the 22nd.

I think you are right there. Some will not like it. I don't really mind as I just placed this order as a test. It does seem to take its sweet time, but at least its been quicker than other orders I've placed. It looks like I will actually get this order in a day or two now too.

As long as a shipping option is reliable, I'm ok with it though. Even if it does take a little longer

SG post fastest delivery time for me was 9 days, 7 days in transit, 2 days Uruguayan customs. Probably in a couple of days you'll get updates on your side.

Did you already try Track Shipment(s) (SG only)
I'm having a lot of luck with SG post. Generally, when I see the same status as yours, it will take around 15/20 days to get my package. I hope you'll be lucky as I am, or better. Customs in Brazil are giving us a hard time, but I'm receiving all my orders (knock on wood).

My order showed up. SS Vamo V5 and nothing else via Hong Kong Post. The package was unopened. My last order from early Sept. took a month. I've been lucky compared to some, CommaHolly, Capt.shay etc.

Ordered 11-11
Shipped 11-14
Arrived 11-22

The insulator ring is off center. 510 threads are iffy compared to my V1 so I can see why people are complaining about them. Here it is with an extra battery tube. I don't have a pair of 18490's to try it like this but I like long battery life so I'm thinking about getting some. Can anyone confirm for battery length?

You wont get longer battery life stacking batteries in series like that. You will simply get a higher voltage

That's only true in a mechanical mod. With a regulated device like the VAMO you get much more battery time stacked. Not only twice the mAh available, but the VAMO is more efficient bucking down than boosting, resulting in even more battery time. Stacked, you can use the VAMO until the combined voltage is down to 6.4 volts until it cuts off, and no drop in performance on the way.

It is impossible to get twice the mah time by stacking batteries in series. It would break the laws of physics.

You get twice the mah rating(approximately) when you stack them in parallel. Stacking in series increases the voltage. This is how batteries work, whether they are in a regulated mod or not.
