I have one inbound

I found a bunch of generic ones (it's little brother) that run off a single AA or 14500 and they are PERFECT for pocket carry...but they are not on FT unfortunately (here is the more expensive FT version)

I tested mine with a NiMH AA (coincidentally my Nitecore charger charged right along side a Li Ion!), ran for over an hour with a little bit reduced light, after about 45 min you could see the light intensity dropping off...but in the pitch black dark it was more than enough to see...with a Li Ion it doesn't last as long...but BOY HOWDY can it throw some light!

Is the battery issue better with Singapore Post? I read in some thread that the problem was with "loose" batteries. On my last order I thru in an Ego battery. I had six individual orders so I put it an order that I don't really care if it comes or not.

only 10 18650s but I also have 4 18350s

I call it hurricane proofing myself.

I even picked up one of these Joye eGo-T 18650 Mod - Avid Vaper so that in a pinch I could charge an 18650 from my USB solar powered charger.

How long does it usually take for orders to come that went thru SGP? I ordered mine 12/01, despatched overseas 12/12 and havent had an update since then.

What would be a better option for shipping if im placing in another order? Planning to get these if im one of the lucky 20 people.

I placed my very first (soon to be last) order on 11/14. Paid the extra for upgraded shipping too. It shipped on 11/26. It hit Los Angles, CA on 12/17 (last update), and I'm in OHIO, still waiting.

For me, the seriously long wait from order to delivery to save maybe $1 to $5 bucks just isn't worth it to me.

Its faster , 7-10 days if U select Singapore Post registered air mail rather than USPS-SG post....then it won't go through Singapore..

Singapore post (SG post) is ok with ego batts...but FT will not ship any loose lithium 18650;s etc unless its with a paid DHL premium shipper..


Fastest non battery shipment to the US is USPS epacket China Post

I honestly cant think of good valid reason why would you spend thousands on these devices, i mean yeah sure its a hobby but not everyone thinks like them. I prioritize spending 300 dollars or so on clothing rather than a metal tube where brand and design is not really "that" important IMHO. I keep giving them reasons why would a certain person rely on clones and they just cant accept the fact that they spend 300++ and we spend 50 WISELY and we both get the same pleasure that vaping gives. Anyway, i wont continue it on this thread haha just wanted to express this.

Canada epacket China post is fastest for Canada, but no liquids or looses batts, but U may get ego batts squeezed through..but I would keep ego batts in a sepearet order from non batts, just in case Canada customs or China Post gets a bug up their azz.....but I have heard of most ego batts getting through, but not all..

Their registered airmail is 10 - 14 days typical and the canada express epacket via CP is 9 - 14 days typical. Not sure what the difference is altho 2 bucks is really nothing if canada express epacket is proven faster that their registered airmail lol. Also, thanks for these infos!

I believe the conversation consisted of three or four posts, and has been over for an hour. Not sure why you feel the need to pretend to be a moderator...

However, if we're doing a wish list I'd LOVE for there to either be a thread dedicated to these shipping issues that keep crapping up the thread, or to discussion of the actual products so I don't have to scroll past a half-dozen posts of people complaining about the slow shipping from the other side of the world to see anything about products I might want to purchase.
