Between the Lite, the 3.1 and the Eternity clones, my desk is cluttered and I am happy. Nothing else is getting used at all. I may end up giving away a whole bunch of PTs et al.

Yes, this has become my new favorite . I have read how much you are enjoying yours (and others as well). I couldn't let you guys have ALL the fun! lol. Thanks for sharing. I will likely have more gear to pass along to my Daughter and her Husband now too.

Thanks for sharing ... I had heard over on FT that some epackets were being processed through NY as opposed to the usual LA, which suits me perfectly as I live in NY. You are like the fourth person that I have spoken to who ordered and shipped the same day as me, so let's hope that somehow my package just missed a scan or two, but was on the same plane as yours.

Oh and I hope you love it once you receive it!

From what I've read, it's practically unusable in 18350 mode without either using a vapesafe/shortstop or sanding down the threads. As for the kick...
It's a telescoping mod. It should work. Might have to do some fiddling, but it ought to work.

Ahh thanks. I must have glazed over the telescoping or it didn't register from looking at the FT site then reading here. So much for working and reading threads at the same time. Maybe its the zero degree temperatures too.

I have realized FastTech has cost me a lot of money. I was using an E-vic but I was concerned I might break it at work so I ordered a Nemesis on 9/9 delivered on 10/24, I was tired of waiting and bought a Provari on 9/24. On 11/5 I ordered Kayfun 3.1 a week after everyone else and two days before they admitted there was a problem, so on 12/2 when the KF lite came out I ordered it so they could race. KF 3.1 shipped 12/6 KF lite shipped 12/14, the KF 3.1 should be delivered today, KF lite is in LA Customs. Tired of waiting again so 12/30 I ordered a REO delivered 1/2. Thing is I'm not sure whether to be upset or happy because I got some GREAT stuff.

So...just out of curiosity...whats the average amount of time before tracking becomes useful? Aka - It shows the information is received but hasnt updated to being received physically since the 31st...realize its slow goings from china to here but I would have hoped the shipping would have given me some information by now.

I got my ToBeCo Kayfun lite clone the other day but the plastic tank wouldn't stay threaded and the thing whistled like a train. The first time I used it the dog actually got up and walked over to me....

This morning it fixed it.
The plastic tank now has 3 wraps of plumbers tape around the threads and is saying put as it should.
The air flow fix was a little more difficult. First I unscrewed the center post so I wouldn't mess it up drilling into it. I also removed the grub screw. Next I took a drill bit that just fit into the air hole on the bottom of the deck, using plumbers tape to mark the depth so I didn't drill to deep. I ran the drill and cleaned out the hole, I think there may have been some rough edges in there. Next I used a Dremel to taper the outside edge of the air hole. It has a nice beveled edge now. I cleaned it up really well, made sure everything was dry and clean. I put it back together and the whistle was gone. When I added the grub screw the whistle came back so I left the grub out. I'm thinking maybe if I grind down the end of the grub it may solve the problem but I will try that later.

Finally I added a couple wraps of plumbers tape to the fill screw.

Overall it's a really good vape, 8 wrap 28g Kanthal and cotton wick. I think the build quality on this clone is not great. The threads are rough and it took much more than a good cleaning to get it working well. I ordered a 2nd based on everyone's reviews and now I'm kinda wishing I hadn't. I think I might sell the 2nd one or try to trade it for a Aqua clone.

Kind of makes me Glad I opted for the Rockets.

Same basic design, much lower price and the only thing I found they needed is a better bottom tank o-ring. Only Vape related issues so far have been from my building curve.(learning micro coils and cotton) Both are now performing as hoped.

My taifun gt arrived but with a brass base. I requested they send a as base while waiting almost to months for this taifun to arrive but for some idiotic reason they made me wait until the taifun to arrive to be disappointed to open a ticket after the fact.

It would have been easy to know which date they made the change in the deck any order placed and processed before that date should have been given a replacement part and dispatch it immediately.

Having to wait another 3 weeks+ on top of my previous waiting time is just wrong.

Wow, I hadn't even noticed! I had tested it with an 18650 since that's what I happened to have laying right in front of me at the moment. I just put in an 18350 and it wouldn't fire. So, I added a safety fuse and it works just fine.

As for the Kick, I've never used one. But, since it's telescoping, I assume it would work.

I think I've had it with FT. I placed a fair sized order November 1st, it sat at HKPO for 6 weeks only to be returned to FT. With the refund I then split the order into four separate orders. Two shipped the same day via Swiss Post going from Singapore, Geneva, JFK - NY Customs and then to me. I got one of the orders Monday. The other shipped the same time, same shipping method. The tracking ends on December 19th as shipped out of Singapore to Geneva. Nothing since then. The other two were shipped China e-pak and tracking shows it has been sitting in Shenzen since December 20th. The second shipped Singapore Post and my local PO has had it since Wednesday but no delivery due to snow. The only order with batteries is the one I received last Monday. No liquids or batteries in the three ordered I haven't received yet.

I've also noticed the prices going up on most everything FT sells, at least the e-cig stuff. So, I think I'm done with them. It's just not worth the hassle anymore.

Wow - just saw the pre-wrapped coils and coil/wick combinations available. Whee!!! Just what I wanted.

(Yes, I know it's cheaper to wrap my own coils and it's easy to do, etc. etc. but I'm not at all interested in sub-ohm stuff and this looks pretty idiot-proof. Don't want to blow myself up. I already have some pre-wrapped coil/wicks from FastTech that work great but they were six dollars something for fifty, these are two dollars something for fifty. Going to get some more.)
