The FastTech Thread For All FastTech Posts

I have a fasttech wishlist of sorts but have been holding off order for sometime because I can't seem to find out about a few things. I guess maybe I expect a faster email response or would see these questions answered in this form and its not happened.

I am not a patient person once I place a charge on my card and complete and order. So I hate a long shipping period. I know that fasttech says they use USPS but do they mail from HK before it hits the USPS? I have had several purchases (non vape) with other companies in HK that said they used USPS and the USPS part of the mail was normal in length while the trip from the company across HK to the USPS part took weeks. I have just paid more than what the fasttech price was for quite a few things simply because I wanted to see my vape mail within a week but my FastTech wish list has some things on it I can't find elsewhere. So shipping time is important - how fast does your FastTech vape mail take?

The other things is that most of the things I am looking at that come with chargers (need chargers for separate batteries - the built in batteries don't seem to be a problem as they come with USB chargers)) come with ones with Euro plus not US ones. I am not sure I want to buy a kit(s) that all come with chargers that only work with Euro plus and then have to hunt down and buy chargers that will work with those batteries and plug in in the US - or even have to buy batteries more compatible with both the device AND a US charger. After having to do that would I not end up paying as much as I would if I find the kit in the US?

For me it was the opposite. 2 days from order to SF. A week from SF to here.

66 Travel Adapters & Converters at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

That page might help or you will be able to source a cheap adapter locally for small $.

When you pay for USPS in another country they dont actually have their own staff in that country other than maybe some admin, they contract that part of the journey to the locals.

If I buy something from the US and use USPS they take it to my border then NZ post bring it to me.

Thank you all for the very detailed info! That really helped a lot. Those testers look to be a good price. We looked the other day at a local store and the cheapest we found were 22.00

I read someone said something about getting a 2 cent fuse for these?? What's the purpose of that, and where would it go?

Don't know if this was answered as I'm back in the thread -The purpose of the 2 cent fuse is added protection. It can go on top of or under the base of the battery. It protects against a hard short. IMR batteries are a safer chemistry but you can add a fuse as well if you want.
There's a review of the fuse here:

KTS should look just like your CCTS

We named it the CCTS as in GGTS clone, but it is actually a KTS Telescopic Storm

Hiya - I've had mine quite a while and was aware it has different names. It also gets called the Chi-Chi. I got mine a while back now. However the KTS on Fasttech that was linked in the post is different to mine. Mine is an older one and doesn't have any gold. I wouldn't know who made mine - but I expect different factories will be producing these. Quite a good little mod - I got mine from a vendor in Indonesia.

There are often options on kits - there will be the same kit available with a US or a EUro charger and wall plug.
e.g. Vamo kit with US charger:

$53.33 Vamo-Vivi Stainless Steel Voltage Adjustable E-Cigarette Battery Compartment Set - with Nitecore I2 US battery charger/charger cable/2*Panasonic CGR18650CH 18650 batteries at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Nitecore battery charger on its own (US):

Hope that may be of some help.

You can choose the express shipping option if you want to overcome the disadvantages of ordering direct from China, of course you also negate the benefits.

The express shipping option on my $125 order was only $26. Granted, that's a lot, but based on everything in my cart, it wasn't too bad compared to going to a B&M or shopping for all the same things online.

These. Tons and tons of these. I have one, just ordered more. They are inexpensive, the flavor is phenomenal. Come in different colors. Seriously. Good old cheap throw aways. Love it!! https://www.fasttech.com/products/1320300

And I ordered the X6 kit in blue. https://www.fasttech.com/products/1343806

I will also be ordering more of the poor mans juice. You know the generic one for $1.43 for 5ml. I was pleasantly surprised with the green arrow and 555.

And the twist. And, and, and. I've been addicted for months. I order every week.

Thanks, I did see that many things have the options. Of course, my luck is that the hardware on my 'wishlist' doesn't. I guess buying a separate charger will just have to figure into the cost when I analyze the way to go :) Thanks.

My SVD finally shipped out of the warehouse too so I'm no longer considering getting a refund. I got it nstead of the iTaste Vv Vw version just available. In the meantime if anyone comes out with a god automatic Vv VW I'll watch it. I'm passing on DNA 20s and 12s...too pricey!

Yay for you too!
I like the look of those vw iTastes - Fasttech don't have the new ones. I might get one in a while - I've always been interested in an ego-ish sized vw pv.

I have just placed my second order with them, so I am not an expert by any means. But with my first order..I got the Vamo kit that showed on their webpage, ships in 3 Business days...along with a couple other things. In 3 days, my order shipped. The very next day, at 7:51 AM, it left Hong Kong...by 5:48 PM, The day after it shipped, it was in California..that's when it completely slowed down. It went from the 8th, to the 13th in USPS hands. So, really...Hong Kong gets it together and out the door kind of quick..it wasn't until it here in the States that it was at Snails pace. So, to answer your question...from the day I placed my order, until the day it was in my hands, took 11 days. Mine actually got stuck in my states Sort Facility. They kept scanning it in and then out, back in, back out. Don't know if they were trying to figure out what it was, or what...but because of them, it added another day to received time.

Anyhow...that's the trade off with FT...you get the cheapo prices...but you have to wait...and then wait some more. To me though...11 days from order date till I had it in my hands, was actually really good..considering just how far it came. If waiting for something in the mail is not your thing, you'll go nuts watching your tracking with FT...trust me, we've all been there!
